The series protagonist heroes of the two previous shows, given the Franchise/UltraSeries is only 5 years old at the time, Series/{{Ultraman}} and human host Series/{{Ultraseven}} has a handful of appearances in a few episodes. The franchise in general is still somewhat loose when it comes to continuity back then, but their comeback is more than well-received by audiences.

The former's appearance in episode 38, "When the Ultra Star Shines" is a notably important moment in the franchise's history - it disproves the public's notions at the time that
Ultraman Jack. Goh was originally a race car driver, but joined MAT after Jack is the events of original Ultraman by a different name, establishing that Ultraman and Ultraman Jack are, ''in fact'', two separate individuals. As the first episode. Unlike other human hosts, Goh transforms through an act of willpower. He has also gained enhanced senses series goes on, with more and more different Ultramen introduced with each series, it can be pretty much said that the establoished distinction between Ultraman and Ultraman Jack serves as a result of his merging with Jack.stepping stone in allowing the franchise to grow and grow.
