!Main Characters

!!The Powerpuff Girls
[[folder:In General]]
* ActionGirl: They're young girls who're capable superheroes.
* AdaptationalAttractiveness: The girls are far more "easy on the eyes" than their "chibi" looks in the original 1998 cartoon.
* AdaptationalCurves: They're far taller and human-like proportionate. {{Justified|Trope}} further since they're older in the webcomic.
* AgeLift: [[PlayingWithATrope Played with]]. They're kindergarteners (5) in the original show but are 11-year-old elementary schoolers in the webcomic. However, they're still chronologically only 6-years-old.
* AmazonBrigade: They're a trio of girls after all.
* ArtificialHuman: They're created by Professor Utonium to be the "perfect little girls" through a mixture of "sugar, spice, and everything nice"... with the accidental addition of "Chemical X".
* BadassAdorable: Regardless of their personalities, they're all cute-looking 11-year-old girls who are capable of fighting the usually VillainOfTheWeek.
* SiblingTeam: The three of them are sisters who are capable of functioning as a team.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Blossom]]
!!Blossom Utonium
[[quoteright:213:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Blossom_9965.jpg]]

Leader of the Powerpuff Girls, naturally, although a bit more reserved in this version than in the TV series. She has struck up a [[SarcasmMode friendly]] relationship with Dexter after being saved from Mandark in the first arc of the webcomic.
----
* AwesomeByAnalysis: As [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/prolonging-the-inevitable demonstrated here]] [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/prelude-to-pain-and-prejudice and here,]] Blossom's retained her tactical capability from the TV show, using it against Bell in a combat sequence that would do Sherlock Holmes proud. Furthermore, she learns how to do this from ''Dexter'' of all people.
* BadassInDistress: During the Dexter vs Mandark arc.
* BettyAndVeronica: Although she isn't aware of it, Blossom has this dynamic with Olga, being the sweet and caring Betty to the latter's distant and mysterious Veronica. [[spoiler:However, this might not apply any longer due to Olga secretly breaching Dexter's lab in the school and stealing Dee Dee's android body.]]
* CombatPragmatist: Uses GIR as a shield during her fight against Bell.
* ClingyJealousGirl: Only shown in the [[https://www.deviantart.com/bleedman/art/PPGD-159131908 promotional art]], but otherwise, Blossom is unaware of the growing closeness between Dexter and Olga.
* FlyingBrick: She has this powerset just like in the original show.
* GlowingEyesOfDoom: A notable and recent example. When Blossom decides to [[LetsGetDangerous get]] [[CombatPragmatist serious]], [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/bet-check-raise-all-in it becomes very clear.]]
* HeroesWantRedheads: Ironic in that she is a redhead herself.
** If you take Blossom as the hero, Dexter is a redhead, so the trope applies.
* InterspeciesRomance: She's an ArtificialHuman (labeled as a Transhuman by the wiki) who serves as a LoveInterest for Dexter.
* ItIsNotYourTime: Very nearly bites the dust, [[spoiler:but Dee Dee shows up in the nick of time and pulls some strings in order to give her a second chance]].
* LivingEmotionalCrutch: Acts as this for Dexter. After the [[spoiler:loss of his sister, Dee Dee,]] Dexter becomes a very depressed child, constantly haunted by guilt, feeling responsible for [[spoiler:her death]]. After Blossom finds out about Dexter's past, she becomes his emotional support to help him move on and open up a little. They also develop feelings for each other and become each other's LoveInterest.
* NearDeathExperience: [[spoiler:She nearly dies by drowning, but manages to survive thanks to Dee Dee's intervention]].
* NotQuiteDead: Aside from the example above; [[spoiler:Samantha attempted to use Jack's sword to slit Blossom's throat without knowing that Jack's sword cannot harm those that are pure of heart.]]
* ShoutOut: Her AwesomeByAnalysis routine above seems to be inspired by Sherlock Holmes from the eponymous film.
* SlipknotPonytail: [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/girl-talk Played for comedy.]]
** Later, played straight after [[spoiler: [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/programming-block blocking all of Bell's attacks]] [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/face-heel-turn in burned hands]].]]
* UseYourHead: Tries this while trapped in the DrowningPit. To quote [[Film/{{Se7en}} John Doe]], it doesn't work.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Bubbles]]
!!Bubbles Utonium
[[quoteright:146:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Bubbles_1533.jpg]]

The perky blonde of the trio. Not much difference between her version here and the 1998 TV version. She is the most extroverted among her sisters, striking up numerous friendships in the series, and has picked up an interest in dancing.
----
* BadassAdorable: While this applies to all three of them, Bubbles' stands out more due to her bubbly personality.
* ChasteHero: She's the only one of her sisters who doesn't have a LoveInterest or a PrecociousCrush.
* DamselInDistress: For a little bit when Mojo's monster ambushes her.
* DanceBattler: Type 2
* FriendToAllLivingThings: She gets along quite well with Courage.
* {{Fangirl}}: Bubbles pounced on Jenny the moment she saw her.
* IdenticalStranger: Both Blossom and Dexter have noted that Bubbles looks and acts eerily similar to [[spoiler: Dee Dee]].
* TheKnightsWhoSaySquee: She gets really excited when meeting Jenny Wakeman for the first time.
* MagicalGirl: Used as a gag.
** Her dancing troupe outfit from Chapters 8 through 11 makes her look like a magical girl though.
* OddFriendship: Bubbles striking up a friendship with Mandy and Gaz of all people.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Buttercup]]
!!Buttercup Utonium
[[quoteright:148:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Buttercup_1475.jpg]]

The rough-and-tumble brunette of the trio. [[UpToEleven Much more aggressive]] here than on TV, and has an amusing crush on Jack-sensei, the gym teacher.
----
* ActionGirl: While this applies to all of them, Buttercup gets the most attention due to her being a BloodKnight powerhouse.
* BloodKnight: No surprise that she loves fighting giant monsters and supervillains. When it bleeds over into her kendo classes with Jack, however, it leads to problems.
* BoisterousBruiser: Was there ever any doubt?
* ClingyJealousGirl: [[spoiler:She does ''not'' like Jack and Agent Honeydew growing closeness near the end of chapter 11.]]
* DeadpanSnarker: Tends to snark a lot.
* EyeScream: Takes [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/blistered-sister-assister a vicious roundhouse kick from Bell]] that bloodies and blacks out her left eye...and ''[[NoSell doesn't even flinch.]]'' Girl's the "Toughest Fighter" of The Powerpuff Girls for a reason.
* FeminineWomenCanCook: To everyone's surprise, when she actually tries it, she completely subverts this and even seems to be becoming the TeamChef.
* HiddenDepths: She's a surprisingly good chef.
* IncomingHam: LET THE HAM GO!
* IronicName: {{Justified|Trope}}. It's a little ironic for a tomboy to have a name like "Buttercup" since it "also starts with a B" in accordance with her sisters.
* TheLadette: It's Buttercup, without the need for family-friendly viewing. This was inevitable.
* MagicSkirt: In the first chapter, where Dexter is holding her upside down by one foot.
* MartialArtsUniform: Wears a kendo gi when attending kendo tryouts.
* OddNameOut: Unlike her sisters' names being meaningful to their personalities, "Buttercup" is only a name given to her out of a rhyming theme.
* PrecociousCrush: Develops one for her PE teacher Jack.
* RealMenCook: A rare [[GenderInvertedTrope gender-inverted]] example. Buttercup is the most "boyish" of her sisters whose interests aligned with traditional masculine activities (i.e. competitive sports, martial arts, etc.), and is very good at cooking.
* TeamChef: She serves as this for sisters and friends.
* UnstoppableRage: [[spoiler:After Samantha killed Blossom...[[NotQuiteDead or something like that]].]]
* WomenPreferStrongMen: Considering her own BloodKnight tendencies, it's no surprise that Buttercup has this sort of attraction to Jack.
* WrestlerInAllOfUs: Is capable of performing several wrestling-inspired moves.

!!Dexter's Laboratory
[[folder:Dexter]]
!!Dexter
[[quoteright:181:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/PPGD_Dexter_7081.jpg]]

The titular boy genius of ''WesternAnimation/DextersLaboratory''. Still, the same ScienceHero that we all know and love, though thankfully not as arrogant this time around. Tests the girls' combat skills on their first day at Megaville Elementary, becoming friends with Blossom afterward. [[spoiler:He is haunted by the death of Dee Dee, his older sister, who died trying to protect him while he was fighting Mandark, his arch-rival. He was attempting to reconstruct her as an android but has since suspended the project]].
----
* AdaptationalAngstUpgrade: He loses Dee Dee prior to the start of the webcomic, and is forever haunted by how she died from his constant rivalry with Mandark.
* AdaptationalCurves: He's much more humanly proportionate in the webcomic than in the original show.
* AdaptationalKarma: If you believe it to be a case of karma for his arrogance, then Dee Dee's life is the price he had to pay in order for him to be humble.
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: He's far less arrogant and prideful in the webcomic, and is noticeably kinder to others.
* BadassBookworm: It's Dexter. No surprises here.
* BadassLongcoat: [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/batmans-jealous Observe.]]
* BadassNormal: He doesn't have any supernatural powers, but is nevertheless capable of holding his own in a fight with his intellect and gadgets.
* BigDamnKiss: [[spoiler:He gives this to Blossom at the end of chapter 13, much to her surprise.]] [[spoiler:[[{{Deconstructed|Trope}} Unfortunately]], it was given to her mainly out of guilt for his LastKiss of Olga and believing that the latter isn't who he thought she was. At the start of chapter 14, the two of them aren't really on speaking terms.]]
* BreakTheHaughty: In the original series of ''WesternAnimation/DextersLaboratory'', Dexter would come off as an InsufferableGenius accompanied by a huge ego. He hated all things "stupid" and did not enjoy some of the simpler things in life like [[spoiler:Dee Dee had done]]. However, after [[spoiler:Dee Dee's death]], Dexter has shown to be a lot less arrogant and seems to act in a more caring and understanding manner than he used to. Instead of trying to prove his superior intellect to the world, he's become more reserved and helpful with others without showing any sign of arrogance on his end.
* DeliberateUnderPerformance: While Dexter is by no means any less intelligent than he was in the original series, it is shown that he rarely, if ever, creates any inventions like he used to, which are scientific marvels in comparison to his scientific colleagues. Before [[spoiler: Dee Dee's death]], his marvel inventions consisted of the following: time travel, dimensional travel, gravity manipulation, teleportation, reality-warping, and countless robots. However, since [[spoiler:Dee Dee's death]], he doesn't seem to show any of his old inventions or making new ones. Instead, he is shown to help other people's projects instead and lending aid to research with his fellow scientists regarding [[spoiler:the bomb that occurred on the Moon and on Earth]].
-->'''Blossom''': And so, as Otto and I traveled further, I began to see more of Dexter's life. This was the Dexter I never met, the Dexter I never knew. Dexter...before [[spoiler:he lost his sister, Dee Dee,]] he seemed so different then, always working on new inventions and new ideas.
* HeroesWantRedheads: Again, irony abounds.
* HeroicBSOD: Twice.
* InterspeciesRomance: He's a normal human who develops feelings for Blossom, an ArtificialHuman (labeled as a Transhuman by the wiki).
* LastKiss: [[spoiler:With Olga]] in Chapter 9. [[spoiler:It doesn't end well as they didn't die, leaving the two to be incredibly embarrassed.]]
* MyGreatestFailure: Dee Dee's death is one for him in his backstory, which is something is at least partially responsible for.
* NotSoAboveItAll: As the saying does, "Old habits die hard". While he's genuinely kinder than how he was in the original show, Dexter can still have his moments of egotism. [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/who-ya-gonna-call Behold!]]
* NowItsMyTurn: In the first fight against the Powerpuff Girls.
* ScienceHero: A given, since he displayed interest in becoming a superhero in the original show.
* SesquipedalianLoquaciousness: Most often coupled with PurpleProse. His InternalMonologue in chapter six is probably the best example.
* SheIsNotMyGirlfriend: About Blossom to Coop in Chapter 5. Naturally, he doesn't buy it.
* ShirtlessScene: After the fight with Mandark. Made even better with the bandages.
* ShutUpHannibal: [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/shuddup To Mandark.]]
* SuspiciouslySpecificDenial: When he hacks the underground vault to the panic room and changes the password to "Big Red Bow" telling Olga it had no real meaning. Of course, it's hard to deny this in a room full of scientists, one of which being the father of the subject matter.
* TookALevelInKindness: In the past, Dexter's personality was pretty much the same in the original show. It's only after Dee Dee's death, which he's also partially responsible for, is where Dexter becomes far less arrogant and kinder to others by the time the webcomic starts.
* WhatBeautifulEyes: Blossom was amazed at how beautiful Dexter's eyes were under his glasses.
* YouRemindMeOfHer: Dexter views Bubbles as this because her behavior, mannerism, and appearance remind him heavily of [[spoiler: Dee Dee]]. And not without good cause: they both have blonde hair in pigtails, they both have blue eyes, they're both very cheery individuals, they both love to dance (specifically ballet), and they both know how to [[SpeaksFluentAnimal talk to animals]]. If there's one difference between the 2, Dexter is far nicer to Bubbles than he was to [[spoiler:Dee Dee when she was alive]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Olga "Lalavava" Astronomonov]]
!!Olga "Lalavava" Astronomonov
[[quoteright:113:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Lala_Vava_2929.jpg]]

Mandark's sister and previously unseen member of Megaville Elementary student body. Appeared immediately following [[spoiler:Mandark's death]] and seems to be keeping an eye out specifically for Dexter and the Powerpuff Girls. Has apparently been head of the school's dance troupe since something happened to the previous leader ([[spoiler: presumably Dee-Dee dying]]) and previously hung out with Mandy and Gaz.
----
* AmbiguouslyEvil: {{Double Subverted|Trope}}. At first, it's believed that Olga will try to avenge Mandark's death, only to be revealed that it isn't the case when confronting Dexter at the beach. [[spoiler:However, this comes into question when she secretly breaches Dexter's secret laboratory in the school and stole the android copy of Dee Dee, along with leaving a "message" in between chapters 11 and 13.]]
* AscendedExtra: She was originally an OneShotCharacter who serves as Dee Dee's ballet rival in a similar vein to the bitter rivalry of their brothers in the original show. The webcomic has Olga becoming one of the main characters along with her own agendas that are currently unknown.
* BettyAndVeronica: Although she isn't aware of it, Olga has this dynamic with Blossom, being the distant and mysterious Veronica to the latter's sweet and caring Betty. [[spoiler:[[{{Subverted|Trope}} However]], this might not apply any longer due to Olga secretly breaching Dexter's lab in the school and stealing Dee Dee's android body.]]
* DeathGlare: She can rival Mandy in giving these sort of glares.
* DramaticThunder: Just like in ''WesternAnimation/DextersLaboratory'' every time someone utters her nickname, lightning strikes. Even when they [[RuleOfFunny happen to be inside]].
* EmotionlessGirl: Almost to the extent of Mandy, which is certainly saying something. Subverted both times [[spoiler:when she believes that she was about to die in chapter 9 and her confrontation with Dexter at the beach.]]
* LastKiss: [[spoiler:With Dexter in Chapter 9. Subverted as they never did die, leaving the two to be incredibly embarrassed.]]
* RedHerring: [[spoiler:It looks like she'll be a villain and wish to avenge her brother, but this turns out not to be the case...]] [[spoiler:[[{{Subverted|Trope}} Or is it?]]]]
* UnresolvedSexualTension: [[spoiler:With Dexter.]]
* YaoiFangirl: Gained a nosebleed when she saw Boomer kissing Dexter.

!!My Life As A Teenage Robot
[[folder:Jenny Wakeman]]
!!Jenny Wakeman
[[quoteright:134:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/PPGD_Jenny_1430.jpg]]

The robot heroine of ''WesternAnimation/MyLifeAsATeenageRobot'' and also part of Project Rowdy, where she more or less serves as the boys' combat training opponent. Their last simulation session ended badly. She lost an arm and was seen having it repaired. [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/nearly-fratricide Has recently reappeared back in the story.]]
----
* AdaptedOut: {{Justified|Trope}}. Her friendship with the Carbunkle brothers and (one-sided) animosity with the Crust Cousins and Misty are nowhere to be seen in the webcomic since they're not in Megaville. On the other hand, it's unknown what kind of relationship she has with [[TheCameo Sheldon]] [[DemotedToExtra Lee]] in the webcomic as well.
* AdaptationalAttractiveness: By her second appearance, Jenny gets a bump in the attractive department.
* AdaptationalModesty: By the time she comes to Megaville, Jenny is now wearing a black coat and miniskirt.
* ArtEvolution: Compare her first appearance in chapter 3, to her current one on the page image.
* BadassInDistress: [[spoiler:She gets taken over by the Cluster to open a portal for the invasion of the Megaville Science Expo and spends over ''5'' chapters in captivity.]]
* BlueIsHeroic: She has a blue color design, and is one of the heroes.
* TheBusCameBack: After a long period of time since her debut in chapter 3, she appears in chapter 8 where she's now moved to Megaville and is a NewTransferStudent.
* CoolBigSis: To Bubbles.
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything: Her MindRape from the Cluster bots are heavily ''suggestive''.
* GratuitousJapanese: Briefly speaks the Japanese language when being tended to by Bubbles and Courage.
* MindRape: What [[spoiler:the Cluster bots]] were doing to her.
* MsFanservice: Considering Bleedman's improved art style, Jenny is much more attractive in curves, and [[https://www.deviantart.com/14-bis/art/Jenny-gift-295390847 her black coat and miniskirt further enhanced this]].
* NewTransferStudent: [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/portraits-of-portents As of present]], she will be attending the same school as the Powerpuff Girls.
* NoodleIncident: Has apparently been on the Watchtower twice before.
* RobotGirl: Obviously.
* SwissArmyAppendage: Including her ''pigtails'', which can turn into a portal.
* TokenRobot: After the events of the science fair, Jenny becomes a mainstay team member with the Powerpuff Girls, becoming this.
* TheWorfEffect:
** She gets a CurbStompBattle by the Rowdyruff Boys in her debut chapter, showing just how powerful they are.
** [[spoiler:She gets easily taken over by the Cluster and is used to open a portal to the science expo, showing how dangerous they are in numbers and intelligence.]]

!Supporting Characters
[[folder:Sensei Jack]]
!!Sensei Jack
[[quoteright:221:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/PPGD_Jack_1672.jpg]]

Yes, ''[[WesternAnimation/SamuraiJack that]]'' Jack. Plays the role of gym teacher at Megaville Elementary and lives at a dojo located near the school. He teaches students basic self-defense while also helping to maintain order on campus, as demonstrated during the Powerpuff Girls' fight against Dexter. Has quite a following amongst the female students.
----
* AdaptationalNameChange: He goes by Sensei Jack instead of "Samurai Jack" in the original show. However, this could be justified due to his current occupation.
* BadassNormal: Other than wielding a mystical katana, Jack is nonetheless an ordinary human who can take down huge monsters and battle against multiple enemies with ease.
* BadassTeacher: It's ''Samurai Jack.'' Of ''course'' he's going to be one of the coolest teachers of all time!
* BigDamnHeroes: Mojo Jojo's newest monster is about to literally eat Bubbles and Buttercup alive, and Dexter stops Blossom just as she's about to jump into the fray, saying that "help is on its way". [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/help Cue Jack.]]
* CharlesAtlasSuperpower: Everything he does, he gained through a lifetime of training around the world.
* CoolTeacher / HotTeacher: The female half of Megaville Elementary's student body certainly seems to think so.
* EverythingsBetterWithSamurai: Except for Dexter, none of the other characters seem aware of Jack's samurai status.
* FishOutOfTemporalWater: Like in the original show, he's currently stuck living in a different time period.
* GeniusBruiser: He's knowledgeable in the field of Foreign Culture and Tradition, taking up the position as a history teacher, and is an expert in the study of hieroglyphics. Also, [[spoiler:Jack is at least somewhat capable of following the [[{{Technobabble}} conversation]] about the current phenomenon happening in the world.]]
* HonorBeforeReason: With his brief battle against Sam. Despite having just bisected one of the Darkstar cronies not a second ago, he holds back because against her since she still a child. Sam, of course, takes advantage of this and shocks him into submission. To add insult to injury, she steals his sword as well.
* IdenticalStranger: He looks incredibly similar to Professor Utonium, but of East Asian descent, tanner skin, and long hair. This is PlayedForLaughs when they meet each other for the first time in a Parent-Teacher Conference.
* MasterSwordsman: He's incredibly skilled with his katana.
* MrFanservice: He's quite muscular and is considered to be a HotTeacher InUniverse.
* OnlyKnownByHisNickname: "Jack" isn't his actual name, but currently use it after being stuck in the current time period.
* ShipTease: With [[spoiler:Agent Honeydew]] after chapter 11.
* SternTeacher: Natch.
* WouldntHurtAChild: {{Deconstructed|Trope}}. He refuses to harm Sam due to her being a child, to which she manages to take him down with ShockAndAwe, leaving him without his katana and incapacitated for the rest of chapter 11.

[[folder:Otto]]
!!Otto
[[quoteright:131:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/PPGD_Otto_6389.jpg]]

The little history wiz from ''WesternAnimation/TimeSquad''. Another one of the students at the school, and also a friend of Dexter's. In this version, he is an accomplished Time Ranger with the equipment to travel through time. He shows Blossom Dexter's past in order to help her better understand him. Later, he acts as the messenger when Mandark kidnaps Blossom and ends up joining in on the rescue mission.
----
* [[HasTwoMommies Has Two Daddies]]: Two adoptive dads, specifically. Who bicker LikeAnOldMarriedCouple.
* MrExposition: He uses his time travel to tell Blossom about Dexter's history with Dee Dee and Mandark.
* SheIsNotMyGirlfriend: About Blossom. Unlike Dexter, he means it.
* TimeMaster: To be expected. He's a time traveler.
* TimePolice: Given what show he's from, it's to be expected.

[[folder:Coop]]
!!Coop
[[quoteright:182:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/PPGD_Coop_6778.jpg]]

The big loveable buffoon of ''WesternAnimation/MegasXLR''. Comes to Dexter's aid to help rescue Blossom, holding off Samantha and her mecha while Dexter deals with Mandark. Before that, he loaned Megas to Dexter for repairs and maybe some tweaking.
----
* AccidentalMisnaming: Buttercup calls him "Poop".
* AndThisIsFor: One of his trademark statements.
* BigEater: After the battle with Mandark, Coop can be seen eating from a big bucket of popcorn and an equally big cup of soda.
* HumongousMecha: Megas.
* LargeHam: Would be out of character if he wasn't.

* [[spoiler:DiedInYourArmsTonight: In Dexter's arms.]]
* [[spoiler:GoldAndWhiteAreDivine: After she becomes an angel upon her death.]]
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: She's pure of heart enough to [[spoiler:have become an angel after her death]].
* [[spoiler:RobotMe]]: What Dexter's trying (or tried) to do, against Dee Dee's wishes.
** [[WildMassGuessing Alternatively, he might have left the project deliberately unfinished to remind himself of what Dee Dee wanted.]]
* {{Slipknot P|onytail}}igtails: Bleedman seems to like drawing her LettingHerHairDown.
* [[spoiler:TakingTheBullet: She did this for Dexter, and it cost her her life.]]
* [[spoiler:TooGoodForThisSinfulEarth: A kind-hearted girl who had died too early in life.]]

[[WesternAnimation/CourageTheCowardlyDog A cowardly pink canine]] who was left in Jack-sensei's care by his previous owners, Eustace and Muriel Bagg, after getting badly injured in an unknown incident[[note]]most likely protecting the Bagges from danger[[/note]]. Became fast friends with [[FriendToAllLivingThings Bubbles]] and is currently living with the Utoniums.
----
* AdaptationalAngstUpgrade: He's no longer living with the Bagges after an unrevealed incident, leading Muriel to give him to Jack for him to take care of before the start of the webcomic.
* AudienceSurrogate: Courage, bordering on being a [[MetaGuy Meta Dog]].
* BadassAdorable: A cute pink dog who capable of holding his own against most of the monstrosities during the Darkstar attack.
* BigDamnHeroes: Alongside Jack.
* CowardlyLion: He may be cowardly and is even scared of his own shadow, but will protect those he loves. It's very much an accurate example of his MeaningfulName.
* MoralityPet: Jack gives Courage to Buttercup, presumably to act as one of these.
* TeamPet: Mostly with Bubbles.
* TookALevelInBadass: While helping to clear out the crowd from the Darkstar attack, he actually takes on one of their monstrosities head-ons.
* TheUnreveal: The incident that left Courage to be injured, leading Muriel to give him away is never touched upon in the webcomic.

[[folder:The Rowdyruff Boys]]
!!The Rowdyruff Boys
[[quoteright:203:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/RRB_1711.jpg]]

Brick, Boomer, and Butch, the Powerpuff Girls' evil male counterparts were originally created by Mojo Jojo. Here, they're the subject of study in a secret government project called "Project Rowdy". Exactly what said the project entails remains a mystery. In this version, Boomer is a little more innocent, while Brick and Butch are apparently planning revenge against the Powerpuff Girls for their last defeat. Interestingly, the idea to include the Rowdyruff Boys in the comic at all wasn't Bleedman's, but that of a deviantART member.[[note]]The fan in question is credited by Bleedman in his comments below [[http://ppg.snafu-comics.com/index.php?comic_id=52 this page]] of the comic.[[/note]] By the time of the comic, the Rowdyruffs hadn't reappeared back in the TV show yet.
----
* ArchEnemy: Brick's reason for participating in the project is to become stronger since he finds his previous defeat at the Powerpuff Girls' hands via kissing particularly humiliating.
* BloodKnight: Butch, and it even exceeds Buttercup's.
* TheBully: Out of the three boys, Butch is more likely to be this towards others.
** During the field test against Jenny, he rips off one of her arms and basically taunts her about giving her a "hand". When she refuses to "Say Uncle", Butch was more likely to blast her into pieces if it weren't for Brick stopping him and telling him to stand down.
** [[spoiler:How he acts towards Dexter in chapter 13 and onwards, such as flinging a locket at the latter at high speed, causing it to destroy whatever important research he's been doing of the current situation in the school's lab, and is just generally rude and condescending towards the boy genius.]]
* ChickMagnet: Brick gets a ton of Valentine cards when they attend the school.
* ChildrenAreInnocent: While kissing every female he sees on the cheek is one thing, Boomer is genuinely unperverse about it and is only trying to remember the feeling of Bubbles kissing him the first time as he's currently undergoing puberty. Both Jack and Agent Honeydew are well-aware and amused by this and gently give him TheTalk, much to Buttercup's confusion.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Played with. They wear black outfits in their introduction and whenever they're required to operate on the field but are currently {{Nominal Hero}}es at best.
* KickThemWhileTheyAreDown: Butch would've blasted Jenny to bits if Brick hadn't stopped him.
* LoveRedeems: Things appear to be moving in this direction with Boomer, given [[ShipTease his reaction]] to the memory of Bubbles' kiss.
* NewTransferStudent: [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/portraits-of-portents As of present]], all three will be attending the same school as the Powerpuff Girls.

* SmugSuper: Butch, and moreso than his brothers.
* {{Tyke Bomb}}s: What they're apparently being trained to become.
* WhatIsThisFeeling: PlayedForLaughs with Boomer, as he's trying to understand the feeling from being kissed by Bubbles in his backstory. This leads to him kissing every female on the cheek near the end of chapter 11.

----
* AffablyEvil / PunchClockVillain: Aside from doing what her father tells her, she seems to have no interest in the whole world domination plot. When not on a mission she acts like a typical little girl.
* ArchEnemy: Considering she targeted Blossom twice already, she shaping up to be this to her.
* BatmanCanBreatheInSpace: Not only that, somehow she can still talk on the Moon. The only thing she needs the space suite for is communication with Earth.

* BerserkButton: Threatening GIR in any way. [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/prelude-to-pain-and-prejudice And Blossom's getting ready to hammer it.]]
** Blossom intentionally misses and just cuts the electricity but Bell's still ticked off she was aiming for him in the first place.

* ColorMotif: Strongly associated with white.
* CuteAndPsycho: She's pretty reserved most of the time, but also seems to enjoy violence, and when she [[BerserkButton flips]], look out!
* DaddysLittleVillain: Her sole real motivation for evil appears to be helping her father.
* DarkActionGirl: A very well-written one.
* DayInTheLimeLight: Is the VillainProtagonist of chapter 12.
* DeathGlare: A very scary one when Blossom nearly destroys Gir to stop the bomb.
* TheDragon: She seems to have this position since she is the one who seems to do the most fieldwork for the Council.
* EvilCounterpart:
** To the Powerpuff girls, being a DarkActionGirl with a FlyingBrick powerset whose motivation for being evil -Pleasing her father- mirrors the girl's own on their own path in life.
** To Dee Dee. Both are teenaged girls who are close to science-oriented characters of the same show (Dee Dee for Dexter and Bell for Mandark) and both are white and blue-winged "[[LightIsGood Angels o]][[LightIsNotGood f Light]]" but while Dee Dee is the genuine deal and an [[DeityOfHumanOrigin Angel of Human Origin]], Bell is a false angel and a borderline SatanicArchetype who arrives at Mandark in his MomentOfWeakness to guide him into a life of sin (Joining the LegionOfDoom as an EvilGenius).
* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: On [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/april-foals this page]], she refers to one of the Cluster bots as a "stupid bit character".
* LightIsNotGood: She's has a white ColorMotif, and is one of the villains. It's more apparent given the {{Animesque}} style of the webcomic, where white is symbolic for "death" in Asian cultures.
* MoralMyopia: Has a case of this due to her LackOfEmpathy, as she tells the dragon emperor, she and the council can harm whoever they want, but someone dare touch her [[EvenEvilHasLovedOnes loved ones]]! '''[[BerserkButton NO, THAT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED!!!]]''' Naga in return calls her out on being a {{Hypocrite}}.

More commonly referred by his nickname, "Mandark", he serves as Dexter's bitter rival in all things science.

* DanceBattler: Type 2

* HiddenDepths: She's a surprisingly good chef.

* BadassLongcoat: [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/batmans-jealous Observe.]]
* HeroesWantRedheads: Again, irony abounds.
* HeroicBSOD: Twice.
* ShutUpHannibal: [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/shuddup To Mandark.]]

----
* AdaptedOut: {{Justified|Trope}}. On the other hand, it's unknown what kind of relationship she has with [[TheCameo Sheldon]] [[DemotedToExtra Lee]] in the webcomic as well.
* AdaptationalAttractiveness: By her second appearance, Jenny gets a bump in the attractive department.

* ArtEvolution: Compare her first appearance in chapter 3, to her current one on the page image.

* NiceMeanAndInbetween: Boomer is nice, Butch is mean, and Brick is Inbetween.
* NonuniformUniform: While their uniforms have a similar design, they each retain their own [[ColorCodedCharacters individual colors]].
* PutOnABus: Haven't been seen since the third chapter.
** TheBusCameBack: [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/sparks-fly-everywhere-in-sight Until now.]]
* RapunzelHair: Brick, although it's not explained how he got it. [[HilariousInHindsight The comic predated the boys' new appearance in the TV show.]] Many amused expressions were had at this, some joking "Bleedman can see the future!".

[[quoteright:137:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/Bell_4143.jpg]]

Dr. X's daughter and a Powerpuff Girl-[[EpilepticTree look-alike / copycat / clone]]. One of the strongest fighters in the Darkstar Council. She manages to give Blossom a real run for her money during their CatFight. Has a deep emotional attachment to Mandark and GIR, whom she calls "Girly".
----
* AffablyEvil / PunchClockVillain: Aside from doing what her father tells her, she seems to have no interest in the whole world domination plot.
* BishieSparkle: [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/fight-rider In this page.]]
* BreakTheCutie: She doesn't take [[spoiler: Mandark's death]] well at all. And considering [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/prelude-to-pain-and-prejudice recent events]], [[FromBadToWorse it's only going to get worse for her]].
* CallingTheOldManOut: [[spoiler:After Mandark's death.]]
* DarkActionGirl: A very well-written one.
* EvilCounterpart:
* OhCrap: [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/bet-check-raise-all-in No one told you to provoke her, Bell.]]
* PeekABangs: Her hair falls after she gives GIR her headband, gaining this. Though needless to say, [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/programmable-hatred shit just got real]].
* PuppyLove: [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/like-a-son It seems she used to have a crush on Mandark.]] [[spoiler:Another reason why his death break her so much.]]
* ShoutOut: To the hypothetical "Perfect Little Girl" from the intro to WhoopassStew, the original pilot of ThePowerpuffGirls. Bell's younger appearance is by undoubtedly based on her, while Bell's older appearance is essentially what said girl would look like as a teenager.
* SlasherSmile: [[https://www.snafu-comics.com/powerpuffgirls/girly During her first fight with Blossom.]]
* TranquilFury: When Blossom is forced to almost destroy GIR in order to stop the time bomb, she hits a VillainousBreakdown and begins trying to brutalize Blossom with little emotion other than calm, cold anger and a SlasherSmile.
* TykeBomb: Strongly hinted to be one of these.
* VillainousBreakdown: When Blossom is forced to almost destroy GIR in order to stop the time bomb, and probably remembering Mandark's death, she ''snaps''. While she may not have started screaming, she gives Blossom the scariest DeathGlare of the comic before dropping the CuteAndPsycho DarkActionGirl act and turning into an unholy mix of AxeCrazy [[TheBerserker she-Berserker]] and a SoftSpokenSadist running on TranquilFury. It's... [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness surprisingly unsettling.]]
-->'''[[TranquilFury Be]][[RageBreakingPoint ll]]''': (Charging a huge blast aimed right at her face) [[SoftSpokenSadist What's the matter Blossom?]] (A [[SlasherSmile smile]] of pure ''[[PsychoticSmirk HATRED]]'' appears on her face) [[OhCrap You look scared.]]

More commonly referred by his nickname, "Mandark", he serves as Dexter's bitter rival in all things science. ----
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: He's far more intelligent than Dexter,
* ArchEnemy: His [[TheRival rivalry]] with Dexter has escalated into something both very personal, and ''very'' ugly.
* DarkerAndEdgier: Unlike the cartoonish LaughablyEvil traits he had in the original show, his current personality and appearance in the webcomic is pretty much PlayedForDrama.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: While Dee Dee will always have a large part of his heart, Mandark went ballistic insane when he misunderstood Dexter's lecture as a threat to his sister Olga.
* EvilLaugh: Per [[WesternAnimation/DextersLaboratory the source material]]. "Ha ha-ha! Ha ha-ha ha-ha!"
* GetAHoldOfYourselfMan: Dexter slaps him during his rant. [[spoiler: Subverted in that Mandark doesn't shake out of it, and presumably died when he triggers his lab's SelfDestructMechanism.]]
* JumpingOffTheSlipperySlope: He practically rushes headlong off it.
* LoveMakesYouEvil: Well ''eviler'' anyway. Before it was just [[CardCarryingVillain the usual petty villainy stuff]]. But after [[spoiler:Dee Dee's death]], things got much more serious.

* StrikeMeDownWithAllOfYourHatred: [[spoiler:Demands that Dexter kill him after having lost the fight.]]
* VillainousBreakdown:

Everyone's favorite [[WesternAnimation/InvaderZim Irken invader]] is seen here fulfilling the role of Dr. X's house maid, while his robot companion GIR is off with Bell. Dr. X has promised him the chance to take a shot at the Powerpuff Girls himself. Whether he was just humoring Zim or truly meant it remains to be seen.

* BigBadWannabe: If only he had the brains for it. Perhaps to get the point across, Bleedman introduces him by having him sitting on a throne and giving a MotiveRant about how the Council is going to rule the world... then Dr. X shows up and tells him to get out of his chair.
* ButtMonkey: Dr. X just loves to humiliate him.

The resident bully from the ''VideoGame/{{Medabots}}'' series, AKA Kikuhime being her original Japanese name. Why she joined forces with Dr. X is anyone's guess. She assists Mandark during his battle with Dexter by distracting Coop and Megas with her own equally powerful HumongousMecha, and she has the upper hand until Buttercup shows up, forcing her to retreat but not before vowing revenge on Buttercup.
----
* AdaptationalVillainy: Granted she was initially antagonistic in the Medabots TV series but otherwise a fairly minor if the harmless threat that eventually became friends with Ikki. Here, she's just out an out psychopathic who's more than willing to get into a fight. [[spoiler: Justified due to her DarKAndTroubledPast and Dr.X manipulating her.]]
* ArchEnemy: Declares she is this to Buttercup after their first meeting.
* BloodKnight: During a fight, Jack observes that she seems happy to be fighting. She does surprisingly try to stick to the Darkstar's plan. But when Buttercup interferes one too many times, she reverts back to this route.
* CombatPragmatist: During her fight with Jack, she [[BarehandedBladeBlock catches his sword]], and then uses it to electrocute him.
* DarkActionGirl: Enjoys beating the heroes and targets Buttercup first chance she gets.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: [[spoiler: While the details are unclear, apparently [[MadScientist Dr. Hebereke]] got his hands on the [[KillerRobot Kilobots]] and used them to kill all of her friends. She would've died too if Dr. Alexander Megalos/Dr.X hadn't turn her into a cyborg]].
* TheBrute: Typically shows up at the head of a bunch of Cluster MechaMooks and EliteMooks, and her villainy consists mainly of attacking the heroes.
* FaceDeathWithDignity: In a sense, [[spoiler: she seems rather calm when meeting Grim and takes the knowledge that she's dead pretty well]].
* HumongousMecha: The Megabee.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: Her death at the hands of [[spoiler: Bell]], [[{{Irony}} by the very sword she stole from Jack]].

** Planned on doing this to Bell by having GIR act as the conduit for the Temporal Bomb. Both instances [[TheDogBitesBack come back to bite her]], ''[[ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice hard]]''.
* RoboticReveal: [[spoiler: Was thought to have cybernetics to augment her powers. But during a fight with Buttercup, part of her skin is torn off revealing she's completely a robot. However its shown she wasn't completely changed as after she dies, her soul floats out her body where she meets Grim.]]
* SuperSenses: Has telescopic vision, as well as x-ray and infrared.
* SymbolSwearing: After she gets sucker-punched by Buttercup.
* TalkToTheFist: When Coop is doing one of his usual speeches, she interrupts him by ''smashing her arm through the windshield of Megas's cockpit and pulling him through.''
* TeethFlying: Buttercup sends Samantha's tooth flying when she appears. She later in the story tries to return the favor but only succeeds in sucker-punching the Powerpuff cause, well, she a superhero.

The Powerpuff Girls' arch-nemesis; his obsession with destroying the girls caused him to follow them into Megaville after they moved there. After his initial attempt on their lives on the first day of the school failed, Mojo was shanghaied by Bell and brought to Dr. X, where he was offered a place in the Darkstar Council. Just what plans Dr. X has for him remains uncertain.

* HijackedByGanon: He's the first official villain to show up in the comic and the first to take action against the girls. But is quickly waylaid by Bell and offered to join the Darkstar Council.
* OrcusOnHisThrone: An unusual variant if you've seen the show where he's a lot more direct. Here he actually sends monsters against the girls rather than combat them himself.
* PutOnABus: His joining of the Council is made to look like a big deal, but he's only been seen twice since then - once in the background, hooked up to a machine of some kind, and then in a flashback of Bell's, where he's arguing with Zim over something.

* PetTheDog: [[spoiler:Agrees to wait "a few minutes" before claiming Blossom's soul during her NearDeathExperience. Those few minutes proved crucial to Dexter saving her.]]
* ThePiratesWhoDontDoAnything: Averted. The only time we see him in the comic is when he's actually doing his job.

Better known as ''WesternAnimation/AtomicBetty''. Stars in a side story entitled ''The Forgotten'', in which she and her crew come across a seemingly abandoned ship that turns out to be occupied by the Cluster. The outcome wasn't pretty.

!! Naga
Full title: ''[[TryToFitThatOnABusinessCard The Prime Woodland Naga Vicar of Resolution, Divinely Chosen Proselyte of the Great Azure Dragon and Heaven of the East]]''. ----
* AdaptationalAttractiveness: He's visibly more detailed in his muscular stature than in the original show.
* AllPowerfulBystander: He's practically a PhysicalGod in his current state, but has chosen not to interfere directly with the larger affairs of the universe.
* BigDamnHeroes: Shows up just in time to save [[spoiler: Betty, but not in time to save her crew]].
* RedEyesTakeWarning: His eyes are simple red dots and they indicate his StoryBreakerPower.
* StoryBreakerPower: If he ever chose to get involved he could probably solve most of the conflicts in the story in less than a few minutes. His self-imposed status as an AllPowerfulBystander prevents him from getting too involved and hasn't appeared in the story since the side story ''The Forgotten''.
* TheWatcher: His self-assigned role in the universe. The last page he appears on is fittingly titled ''The Watcher''.
