Bulbapedia hasn't list it in their effect section, but Supersweet Syrup only activates once per battle with its descripting stating "first time the Pokémon enters a battle", unlike Intimidate.

In Kitakami, Applin also have the option of evolving into Dipplin, a Pokémon that resembles a candy apple. It is in fact two creatures living within the apple: One that has its head and a stick-like horn sticking out on the top, and the other within the apple apart from its tail in the back. They produce a super sweet syrup within their bodies which they coat their apples with. They can also use this Syrup in their signature move Syrup Bomb, a move which lowers the target's speed each turn for three turns, and its ability, Supersweet Syrup, which lowers the opponent's evasion upon Dipplin being sent out.

out once per battle.

* ObviousRulePatch: Supersweet Syrup only activates once per battle. This is done to prevent Dipplin's allies spiraling out of control with their PowerfulButInaccurate moves such as Focus Blast or Hypnosis in Double Battles.

** The Applin line (save Dipplin) are the only Pokémon with the Ripen Ability, which ripens Berries in order to double their effect. Dipplin gets Supersweet Syrup instead, which lowers the evasiveness of opposing Pokemon.

* MeaningfulName: A variant - Applin and Dipplin's names are incredibly similar, both in Japanese and in English. This references how Dipplin's external appearance isn't very different to that of Applin's. Also, being comprised of two wyrms, its name, Dipplin also harks to the word diplo-, meaning 'double, two of'.

There is a variation in the city of Wyndon, where you can take Corviknight taxis you find in the overworld to different parts of the city; this is notably the only place where the fast travel is accompanied by a full animation showing the Corviknight taking off with you and its rider. Interestingly, the game notes that at one point Braviary was considered for this role, however Corviknight was chosen over it due to being singnificantly more dependable and easier to train for the role.

P Med the editor with the reasoning, but they never responded back. Anyway, the reason for the initial removal of This Looks Like A Job For Aquaman examples is because these aren't about mostly useless ability turned out to be useful in that situation (which grassy glide does not fit in any way) but "Rock beats Scissor".

* ThisLooksLikeAJobForAquaman: Grassy Surge Rillaboom are custom-made to neutralize Inteleon. While their Special Defense isn't too impressive, they have enough HP to shrug off a Snipe Shot, and Grassy Glide acts first on Grassy Terrain, meaning Inteleon's high Speed is a non-factor. That, coupled with Rillaboom's monster Attack versus Inteleon's paper-thin Defense, ends with the gorilla drumming up a storm and the lizard in a bloodied heap.

* ThisLooksLikeAJobForAquaman: Inteleon seems built to keep Cinderace in check, as Inteleon's Speed is one point higher than Cinderace, and, lacking any good Electric-Type and Grass-Type moves Cinderace can learn Electro Ball, but it's a Special Move, so it can't do much damage with Cinderace's low Special Attack., Cinderace is unable to hit Inteleon for super-effective damage. Together, these traits allows Inteleon to safely control the pace of battle when Cinderace is on the other side of the field. This is assuming Cinderace hasn't had any Speed boosts via Max Airstream, at least.
