* SeriesContinuityError: It's been heavily implied that this skin is intended to be Seris prior to taking control of Abby, yet the skin's voice pack portrays him as a stereotypical violent monster, while Seris herself is a lot more muted in comparison. What makes this even more notable is the fact that the Abyss has been mentioned as generally fully suppressing and destroying their human hosts, making it so that Abby having somehow changed Seris' personality extremely unlikely.

* SaltAndPepper: Seems to be named after this trope to some degree (as well as just being a PunnyName on foodstuffs), though possibly just a visual reference, as Pip has light-brown fur, and Pepper has purple fur. Then again Pepper is ''very'' antagonistic in her voice lines towards other enemies, whereas Pip is more affable and cheeky, which would probably qualify it as a fantastical variation.

* SaltAndPepper: An unintentional, more literal variation. Her voice lines are fairly supportive, similar to Pips', and her jokes and kill taunts come off as [[PokeThePoodle ineffective]], as they're mostly bad puns on "Salt" or being a fox, unlike Pip and Pepper, who show a brash and rude side, and are only supportive when actually healing or talking to allies.

* PeekABangs: Her left eye[=/=]glasses are covered up by her pink and purple hair. Unlike other hair in the game, it lacks animations, so even when falling from a large distance, it's as steady as if she were idle, and as solid as a rock when falling.

* TheCameo: He appears in the card art for Raum's [[https://paladins.gamepedia.com/Apocalypse Apocalypse card]], marking his first canonical appearance in the wider lore of the game. He also makes appearances in the splash art for Soul-Stealer Furia and Demonette Maeve.

* HitboxDissonance: He is currently the only skin where his hitbox is larger than the main model he is based off of; this is due to the wing, which stretch out farther.

* OutOfFocus: Since they're skins, rather than fully-fledged champions in their own right, they tend to not get much focus lore-wise beyond the bare minimum. Being from alternate realities, they aren't necessarily canon in the first place. Though Pepper does get a lot of attention in sprays and Death Cards as she's PopularWithFurries, and has been brought into canon, while every other Echo has been largely ignored since their release.

* TheCameo: He appears in the card art for Raum's [[https://paladins.gamepedia.com/Apocalypse Apocalypse card.]]

*** Her glasses were removed, while her shorts were replaced with [[PaintedOnPants tight striped pants]], and her [[BareYourMidriff torn shirt]] was replaced with a simpler green shirt featuring the logo of Evil Mojo, the game's developers.

* WhatTheHellIsThatAccent: Ripjaw's accent sounds like a mix of the Heavy's BadassBaritone, and the Demoman's Scottish accent from ''VideoGame/TeamFortress2''; both by Gary Schwartz. It isn't their VA, however.

* BadassBaritone: His voice is some of the lowest in the game, being deep and booming.

* TemporaryOnlineContent: He was one of the games' first "Limited" tier of skins, and remained unpurchaseable outside of the event he debuted for five years. As mentioned above, the "Emergence Community" update in 2023 made him purchasable again, again for a limited time, because the event was being re-run as a Limited Time Mode.

** Pepper appears in [[https://paladins.gamepedia.com/Deadly_Pursuit the card art for "Deadly Pursuit"]], one of the Yagoraths' cards, while running alongside Pip and Moji, solidifying her canonicity in the games' events even further. As can be seen above, she notably wears different clothing, looking more like an adventurer than a DJ.

* GamerGirl: Has shades of this in her voice lines, using gamer terms in her voice lines, such as referring to capping payloads as "stages", while buying an item has her quip "Power up!". Her potion launcher has [[WritingAroundTrademarks Not-Pac man]] and a maze animation on it.

One of the Abyssal Lords. He was the antagonist during the ''"Rise of Furia"'' event, and was made a Limited, one time only purchase skin during this event.

* TemporaryOnlineContent: As a Limited skin, opportunities to unlock him are unlikely to ever come up again. [[note]]Although past Limited skins ''have'' been offered as rewards during charity streams for donations of over 100$, so it's not ''completely'' out of the question, though these streams have largely stopped occurring in recent times.[[/note]]

** Pepper appears in [[https://paladins.gamepedia.com/Deadly_Pursuit the card art for "Deadly Pursuit"]], a card for Yagorath, alongside Pip and Moji, solidifying her canonicity in the games' events even further. Pepper is notably wearing different clothing here (a brown explorer-style getup with a yellow crop-top, no tights on her tail or legs, no sunglasses, and carrying a more traditional explorers backpack).

* FashionableAsymmetry: Her appearance in the [[https://paladins.gamepedia.com/Deadly_Pursuit "Deadly Pursuit" card art]] has her wear a single glove on the right hand, but not on the left.

* WritingAroundTrademarks Her iconography is quite clearly inspired by ''VideoGame/PacMan''. Her gloves, her backpack, as well as her Gun show a green Pac-man with a metal mouth. Peppers' launcher also has a Pac-man-inspired maze on it.

* FunnyAnimal: Salt is a anthropomorphized Fox, much like Pepper and Pip are. Moji and Salt also share the same idle voice line when meeting Pip, by being amazed by how much fur they have.

** Upon release onto the PTS, players praised her clothing and design, but [[https://www.artstation.com/artwork/v2nq03 her face]] fell into the UncannyValley, as players expected it to look tangentially like Io. The following day, [[https://twitter.com/ThunderBrush/status/1450532413147340805/photo/2 Thunderbrush said that this would be fixed in a future PTS update]], and three days after, a newer design was implemented (see above).
