All For One faces a similar issue: some Quirks are too advanced for his body to handle. Further illustrating this is that Midoriya is the endpoint of the long string of inheritance behind One For All that began with All For One himself, the Quirk slowly gaining greater purpose as it passes from hero to hero until it ends up in his hands. All For One is the beginning of the story's conflict, and Midoriya is tasked with bringing about its end. Another interesting note is that, similar to Midoriya and Shigaraki both sporting red shoes, Midoriya receives a final version of his costume with gold highlights for the final battle that matches All For One's perfected mask's own gold highlights.

* PracticallyJoker: Let's see, he wears a natty suit and at one point wore a hat, his default expression is a constant SlasherSmile, he has a twisted obsession with the main hero, is a blatant CardCarryingVillain and a DiabolicalMastermind with a vast criminal empire, has a warped sense of humor, and has scarring on his face. It's not at all difficult to see more than a few similarities between All For One and the Clown Prince of Crime. He's even revealed to be the GreaterScopeVillain of ''Vigilantes'', and responsible for Knuckleduster's Quirkless state, resulting in the latter re-inventing himself as a Batman-esque BadassNormal Vigilante, making him something like Knuckleduster's ArchEnemy, even if the power gap between them and All For One's similar level of malicious torment towards all heroes prevents it being anything special for him.

Despite that, he still contents himself that the news footage of their defeat will break the spirits of the watching civilians, again showing his pathological dependancy on breaking others to sooth his bruised ego from the humiliation he's endured. This is in part out of his twisted obsession with proving the villain can will in reality as well as utilising the Quirk's SuperEmpowering trait for his own benefit to further increase his accumulated power to GodEmperor levels. This obsession with ''having'' the Quirk at all costs sees him being [[CantKillYouStillNeedYou unwilling to actually kill any of the holders so long as they possess it]] and he's no ready to absorb it yet, allowing it to gradually become stronger in opposition to him and preventing any [[MakeThemRot lethal harm]] being directed at Izuku during the clash.

** Never, ''ever'', losing. All For One can take a temporary defeat as long as it's in service to his grander overarching victory in the long-term, but anything that threatens to genuinely inflict a loss upon himself that he can't downplay or pretend it didn't;t count will push him to an uncharacteristically furious countenance.

* BloodyMurder: He has a Quirk called "Bloodlet" that apparently allows him to do this with his own blood. He utilises it when paralysed by Stain's [[TheParalyser Bloodcurdle]] to [[BloodFromEveryOrifice expel all the targeted blood out of every available orifice]], leaving himself [[OverdrawnAtHeBloodBank drenched in his own viscera]].

* ControlFreak: All For One is defined by his insistence of having everything play out according to his designs, especially when it comes to achieving control over people (notably Yoichi, his brother; and Tomura, the one he groomed) and being the one and only person to triumph against One For All. He is so intolerant of the slightest deviation from his script that whenever things like this happen[[note]]e.g., Star and Stripe booby-trapping her Quirk to destroy him from the inside, Tomura's personality struggling to reassert control over his body, etc.[[/note]], he panics hard time. All For One's haste when things don't go his way, which manifests as sheer shortsightedness that repeatedly screws him over in the long run[[note]]best demonstrated by how All For One tries to have Kurogiri [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere warp Tomura's body away from the fight against One For All]] so he can reestablish control over his pawn, never mind that Tomura's presence is crucial for his triumph[[/note]], is mocked and exploited by many characters in the story, including his own pawns.
