* PowerNullifier: Since Babette gave every witch family magic, she, along with the rest of her family can temporarily put a block on it or remove it completely.

* RankScalesWithAsskicking: [[spoiler: She may be an old woman, but she is the [=LeRoux=] matriarch for a reason. Once she decides to fight, she transforms her familiar, Lavender, in a gigantic plant monster that promptly grabs and tears meticulously Athalie to shred. The entire chapter in which she attacks Athalie is filled with bright red tearing sounds, highlighting just how violent her familiar is acting on her behalf.]]

* SpoiledBrat: Her own sister calls her this, and not without reason. Sophia only aids Athalie so she can have a chance to become the next Matriarch, and constantly bullied Avaline as a child foe her own amusement. [[spoiler: A flashback to the twin's birthday even shows Sophia trying to steal some of Silvia's presents for herself. Also while willing to help continue the paperwork of the Severin family while the others want a break after Athalie was handled, she wants to go on a vacation trip in return for her efforts.]]

* HypnoticEyes: He's able to compel humans into doing whatever he tells them to by directly looking into their eyes. He compels Athalie's maid to leave early after letting him into the house, then sends Sophia to sleep with one look after seeing her past abuse of Avaline and identifying her as an enemy.
* PowerParasite: [[spoiler: She feeds off Camille's magic to regenerate and strengthen herself.]]

* HateSink: Not only is Strix responsible for the deaths of Camille's mother and sister, she also took immense joby in ending their lives and using Abrielle's voice to try and lure young Camille to her doom. In the present she frequently stalks Camille and tries to either get her killed or push her into killing herself, mocking and belittling the girl whenever she can and going out of her way to not just end Camille's life but to torment her as much as possible while she's at it.

* AffectionateNicknames: Is called "Dendro" by her friends.

* BadassAdorable: Dendro is a cheerful, cute flower-lady and also a kind of demon specifically created to combat other demons. In her battle with Stryx she casually chops the latter's limbs off over and over and even bisects her eventually. If Stryx hadn't been feeding on Camille's magic to heal herself the battle would've been a lot more one-sided.

* OurDemonsAreDifferent: Along with having a bird motif, Raum is a truth demon, able to see the past easily by looking at people also while he can also see the present, [[spoiler: but it can easily change if certain acts are done and the future but anything can change it at a moment's notice as he mentions in Episode 97]]. It's easy for him to read humans, hard for him to read demons but not impossible and as for [[spoiler: [[HumanoidAbomination whatever the hell Athalie]] turned into, it not only hurts, he doesn't even knows ''what she is'', let alone what she wants.]]

* DarkIsEvil: While she's possessing Diana she dresses in black and her presence is never a good thing. [[spoiler: After losing Diana's body and her disguise getting destroye din her battle against Dendro and Camille, her true form is revealed to be that of a horned all-black creature.]]

* PowerParasite: [[spoiler: She feeds of Camille's power to regenerate and strengthen herself.]]

* PlantPerson: She's plant demon whose lower body is a huge flower and she has some control over other plant life.

* ItsAllAboutMe: Claims that her horrendous actions are not what she wants, as she is merely doing her job as a matriarch and keeping her family safe, but it is a thin-veiled excuse to mask her ControlFreak tendencies.]]

* MetaphoricallyTrue: How Athalie got off scott free during the trial of the greenhouse fire. [[spoiler:She didn't kill her sister and niece or start the fire, which is ''[[ExactWords technically]]'' true. Also there were no signs of blood loss from a recent ritual either, due to the fact that Athalie planned this so far in advance.]]

* RedemptionRejection: [[spoiler:Goes through two of these near the end of the series. In Chapter 115, when Alice and Raum summon Alette's spirit to show her firsthand that Athalie will never be good enough to her, and that she's making Avaline go through the same pain Alette made her go through, she just simply says their lying and even accuses Avaline of being a "spoiled brat" and she can never "accomplish" what she did. And in Chapter 121, when Camille demands that she should at least apologize to Avaline for her abuse and cruelty before her execution, she actually goes along and seems to be genuinely sorry for hurting her daughter... Only to immediately reveal she was just lying and only did it as no more than a sick joke at Avaline's expense.]]

* SanitySlippage: She was never completely sane to begin with, but [[spoiler:it is after [[HorrorHunger eating her familar Basil and acquiring a taste for familiar flesh]] that she really starts going off the rails.]]

As the Lacour Matriarch justly points out to her, she has been able to escape being put on trial so far because she was able to keep her facade in public, but her outburst led her to be reprimanded and tipped off everyone present on the kind of person she really is, on top on giving credence to the rumors surrounding her.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: It's heavily implied that her sudden illness and death were simply the results of her extreme overuse of Blood Magic and stubborn refusal to see an actual doctor for it, which makes sense, since even though Severins can regenerate blood more quickly than others due to their Magic, it ''will'' still take a MASSIVE toll on the human body due to sudden blood loss at such a frequent basis without any proper medical attention to keep it in check.

* AbusiveMom: She inspires her daughters to fight each other to try hard/be ambitious, and believes that one of her kids is an angel and the other is a devil.
