While he eventually realised his accusation was incorrect, he's made a suspect for murder and only exonerated with anecdotal evidence that the chief prosecutor personally corrected his misconception.
* RightForTheWrongReasons: [[spoiler:He was correct that Venus was associated with Oracle. He just didn't know there was far more to it than simply their connection.]]
* SpannerInTheWorks: Some new information he obtains reverses his accusations against Venus and destroys the prosecutor's argument. While he idiotically voices his accusations about Venus online, he's told by Bespoke that the Oracle has scars on her hand, something Venus does not. As Burke know Venus, he would have known she wasn't the Oracle and wouldn't have had any reason to kill her.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Accusing Venus of being the Oracle or associated with her on an online forum had many unforseen consequences.

* NiceGuy: A flaw of his. He's trusting and optimistic, pleading with the lawyers to show restraint on vunerable suspects, even if it's necessary to put a bit more pressure on them. This makes him slightly biased as a judge and complicates trials a bit.

* ScarsAreForever: She was cut on the back of their hand with a knife by a killer during a botched infiltration. This also disproves Anton's guilt in killing Venus, as Venus lacked these scars, something Anton was aware of.
