** He lacks the stoicism and charisma that most [[CharClone Char clones]] are known for, but he still is one of Char Aznable, albeit in a less immediate way than Frontal is. Char ends up lamenting that humankind can still commit atrocities in spite of the warmth and light the human heart carries. Zoltan has been similarly despairing and in anger over mankind's cruelty, and is driven by the desire to seek retribution for it, much like how Char has been throughout the second Neo Zeon conflict.

Unless the impractically actually hurts them, not this.

* AwesomeButImpractical: As always, the beam magnum. Okay, the ability to fire a beam so powerful it can take out a suit with a near-miss is pretty impressive. But it still pays for it with a five-shot magazine. And it destroys the suit's arm with every shot. This is particularly impractical because at this point, Banagher is a skilled enough pilot that he can probably do more damage with a normal beam rifle rather than the five shots the Magnum allots him. But it's ''so awesome''.

Added DiffLines:

A Republic of Zeon captain who pilots the MSN-06S-2 Sinanju Stein, seeking to capture the Phenex. Like Full Frontal, he is a Cyber-Newtype created as the second coming of Char Aznable. Unlike Full Frontal he's perceived as a failed experiement, only kept around to pilot the II Neo Zeong.

** Also one to Jona. Both of them were Newtypes, Jona a "true" Newtype while Zoltan is a Cyber-Newtype, and both of them were subject to horrible human experimentation. Both of them pilot powerful psycoframe mobile suits and both of them pilot the II Neo Zeong at different points of the film. However, Jona eventually makes peace with what happened to him and explicitly doesn't lash out at the world over his past trauma. Zoltan is ruled entirely by his past and wants to destroy everything because of it.

The mere act of saying that a Walking Spoiler exists in the story must be a spoiler in itself, so Rita doesn't qualify. Banagher on the other hand...

Rita is borderline omniscient, but omniscient morality license can only apply if she does something extreme or even reprehensible for the sake of a greater good, neither of which she does. Even as a child she tries to warn people of the Sydney colony drop, and she spends much of her time in the movie avoiding attacks and refusing to retaliate in most situations.

* TookALevelInBadass: Twofold. The Unicorn's NT-D allowed for the mobile suit to be controlled almost completely by brainwaves and thoughts. The fact that Banagher can pitch into the final battle by sniping means he not only can he pilot a mobile suit with pure skill now, but he can actually hit something with his beam magnum, a weapon he couldn't land a single shot with in his very first sortie with it.
