Outside of all of this, he is also shown to have [[UncannyValley awkwardly]] organic body language as a [[InvokedTrope deliberate]] attempt to interact more naturally with organics (when Legion is first reactivated, one of its first actions is to mimic one of Shepard's gestures), bleeds some kind of white liquid, and at one point during the final level of ''VideoGame/MassEffect2'' appears to be ''out of breath''. [[note]]Assuming he's chosen as a tech expert, which is one of the recommended choices, he will seemingly run out of breath while waiting for you to open the valves in the vents. In the first few conversations with Shepard it's clear that unlike the [[RidiculouslyHumanRobot common fictional portrayal of AI,]] the geth are ''very'' different than organics. However, CharacterDevelopment shows some [[DoAndroidsDream surprising depth]]. Every display of emotion he shows is usually called out by Shepard and followed by awkward pauses and Legion saying that they "understand the similarities" or "acknowledge as an appropriate metaphor" but insists that they are not feeling the emotions suggested by Shepard. As these moments become more frequent and common (starting with the [[WhatIsThisThingYouCallLove "No Data Available"]] line and [[CharacterDevelopment shown much more frequently]] in the third game) it [[SuspiciouslySpecificDenial begins to feel more like a façade.]] [[spoiler:A façade that drops in VideoGame/MassEffect3 just before his HeroicSacrifice, in which he refers to himself as "I" for the first time and admits that he's sorry and thankful for Shepard and Tali (presuming you convinced the quarians to make peace)]]. [[note]]Assuming he's chosen as a tech expert, which is one of the recommended choices, he will seemingly run out of breath while waiting for you to open the valves in the vents. Legion was able to give all geth self-awareness and true sentience, while the Synthesis ending simply erased the physical line between organic and machine, and allows them to directly interact with the quarians, with that ending curing their compromised immune systems. The Extended Cut ending has a slide that you only see if both the peaceful resolution on Rannoch ''and'' the Synthesis ending are completed, where quarians are all able to walk around unmasked.
