* {{Expy}}: Aside from being called [[Anime/MobileSuitGundam Magical Girl RX-78-2 Gundam]], Nanoha is an expy of Amuro Ray. She's a civilian who was thrust into a conflict, possessed extraordinary talent, and has a CharClone rival in Fate. She also becomes a legendary figure when she becomes an adult.

* MsFanservice: While her Barrier Jacket is no were near as {{Stripperiffic}} as Fate's she still has quite a few moments. For one she tends to be shown in her underwear a lot more then the other characters in the series. And her {{Transformation Sequence}}s are some of the longest and most exploitive with lots of close-ups of her underwear dissolving away. Not to mention, her civilian outfits in all seasons tend to involve short skirts/shorts and develops quite a large bust as an adult. Even chapters of the Vivid manga use this such as when she was bested in the SLB dual with Teana, with her Barrier Jacket's should section gone, with her cleavage on display. Or when one of the intro pages to a chapter feature her in a bath alone with her hair down with a cookbook in a suggestively milf manner.

* ShesGotLegs: The camera is noticeably fond of making her legs the focus of shots, and the promotional art even more so. Further emphasized by the fact that most of her regular clothes, as well as both her uniform and Barrier Jacket in much of ''[=StrikerS=]'', feature ZettaiRyouiki.

* BeamSpam: Her Divine Shooter, Axel Shooter, Sacred Cluser and Shooting Star Assault attacks. Taken UpToEleven, with the [[WaveMotionGun Wave Motion Spam]] that ends the final fight in ''[[Anime/MagicalGirlLyricalNanohaStrikers StrikerS]]''.

** The manga omakes take this UpToEleven, with a rumor in the TSAB that states if a person gets on Nanoha's bad side, they are basically forfeiting their life.
* {{BFG}}: An ordinary magical girl's usual equipment is a cute little magic wand. Nanoha uses a staff that can fire WaveMotionGun level blasts of magic and grows increasingly gun-like over time. Played straight during ''Manga/MagicalRecordLyricalNanohaForce'', where she wields an actual BFG in the form of the Strike Cannon, a component of the [[UpToEleven even larger Fortress System.]]

** ''INNOCENT'' cranks this UpToEleven, with the implication that aside from Fate and Subaru, even the great "Miss Number One" [[IdenticalStranger Stern Starks]] has shown interest in Nanoha.

* PersonOfMassDestruction: A result of both her innate magical potential, and TrainingFromHell. ''The Movie 1st'' takes this trope UpToEleven with her Starlight Breaker.
