* AccidentalHero: He definitely didn't set out to break down the walls between the Krums and Ellingboes when he spun the tale of Klaus, only delivering toys to get the children to write more letters for purely selfish purposes. But the various myths that end up spinning out from his and Klaus' secret toy deliveries wind up inspiring the children to be kind of each other after feuding for so long. His heroism loses the "accidental" part after his CharacterDevelopment.

* TraumaButton: Don't touch the decorative shelf he made with his wife.

* BadassBaritone: With Creator/JKSimmons, it's a given that Klaus has a deep, melodious voice.

* BadassBaritone: He has a deep, commanding voice that matches his regal stature.
