[[spoiler:The twenty-third Gaiden reveals her to be into bondage play, specifically as a submissive]].

* AmazonianBeauty: Hinata observes that Yugito has significant muscular tone, as well as a total absence of belly fat.

* BathingBeauty: Whether in a hot tub or a WaterfallShower, she apparently ''loves'' engaging in this.

* AllWomenArePrudes: While she confides to Itachi late in the story that she's a virgin, she's not afraid of showing off her body, as the ShamelessFanserviceGirl trope below outlines. !!Kagari, Mahiru, Emiru and Ozaki Haruna
Four students of Konoha High who first show up during the Tribunal arc to hassle Sakura over comments her father has made at a town hall meeting held to discuss the presence of the Kyuushingai in Konoha Town.
* AdaptationalVillainy: Played straight with Emiru and Haruna; the former was a very minor character but was still friendly to Naruto, and the latter was a filler character who was the daimyo of the Land of Vegetables and gave Naruto support in her arc. Concerning the boys, Kagari was already an Amegakure-affiliated villain in the canon series and the filler arc that featured Aoi, and while we don't know Mahiru's canon morality, he was definitely an enemy of Kakashi and Minato as revealed in their back-story.
* AllWomenLoveShoes: Emiru and Haruna certainly do.
* TheBully: At least one of the boys was willing to get physical with Sakura over her father's comments. [[spoiler:The girls took it a step further]].
* DeathByAdaptation: [[spoiler:In the original series, Emiru (there a very minor character) is quite alive and well. Here, she gets murdered by the Spiral Reaper]].
* KidsAreCruel / TeensAreMonsters: They were perfectly willing to assault Sakura, except Sasuke showed up right at that point. [[spoiler:Emiru and Haruna went further and vandalized Sakura's house and her dad's car]].

* TheResenter: [[spoiler:Turns out Emiru and Haruna have a pretty strong grudge against Sakura due to her previous AcademicAlphaBitch behavior. Dr. Haruno's comments in support of the Kyuushingai simply gave them a convenient excuse to accost Sakura and later vandalize the Haruno family's property]].

* SparedByTheAdaptation: Due to the aforementioned AgeLift, as she’s a PosthumouCharacter in the original.

* AdaptionalVillainy: While she's not a lawbreaker, this version of Mito is significantly more acidic than her canon counterpart, who was a mentor to Kushina and was noted for having compassion.

* AloofOlderSibling: Kushina recounts that she and Mito had a rocky relationship growing up, as Mito never approved of anything Kushina ever did.

* NeverLiveItDown: InUniverse example--Naruto isn't willing to let Kimimaro forget about the time he made him watch ''Twilight''.

* ManInWhite: His first appearance shows him in a white business suit.

* ScrewySquirrel: He's a real prankster. His EstablishingCharacterMoment has him running away from Suigetsu and Jugo because he'd tricked them into sitting in their squad-car after he'd smeared the seats with jam.

* DrinkOrder: Fruit-punch flavored syrup blended with crushed ice. She orders it regularly at her usual hangout.

* PragmaticVillainy: Surprises and knocks out Hotaru at one point and briefly considers killing her, but then decides against it because she's just doing her job as a cop, plus killing a cop will attract too much heat.

!!Uzumaki Kushina
Naruto's mother, and a major source of support for him and good advice for his peers.
* ActionMom: Among other things, she frightens off Kimimaro's gang [[spoiler:despite having just been shot]], fights Mangetsu with relative ease and only gets hit once when she drops her guard, and violently rebuffs a break-in and murder attempt by Dosu and Zaku.
* AmazinglyEmbarrassingParents: She is this to Naruto, especially when combined with her tendency to snark about his relationships with girls. And there's also her fan-girl attitude toward the popular ''Shadow Fox'' comic, including having a cosplay costume, which causes Naruto to do a double-take the first time he sees her wearing it.
* CombatPragmatist: When forced to defend herself, she proves to be this in spades, including liberal use of the GroinAttack and using anything she can grab as a weapon.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: As depicted in this fanfic, Kushina usually appears as a (mostly) motherly housewife who likes to cook, trades VolleyingInsults with her own son, cosplays as the in-universe female Franchise/{{Batman}} expy, throws around [[DeadpanSnarker some really wicked zingers]] ([[SnarkToSnarkCombat usually in response to Naruto's own zingers]]), plays video games, owns a PornStash, and is heavily implied to [[ADateWithRosiePalms do non-food-related things with cucumbers]]. This same woman is also married to a government agent and is the mother of one of the Kyuushingai, and as such she is perfectly capable of taking care of herself if need be, as Dosu and Zaku find out to their sorrow.

* ADateWithRosiePalms: Naruto implies more than once that she engages in this with cucumbers. Kushina's not amused.

* HiddenDepths: She's generally quite cheerful, spends most of her time at home cooking and doing typical housewife stuff, and on the more eccentric end she cosplays as the in-universe comic book character Shadow Fox and also owns her very own porn stash. However, under serious circumstance she proves to be a source of good maternal wisdom to whoever needs it. [[spoiler:Going even deeper, she's got some resentment toward her husband Minato for distancing himself from his family, to the point of requesting Kushina to retake her maiden name, for the sake of protecting her and Naruto due to Minato's black-ops work, and subsequently leaving her alone to deal with Naruto's post-365 days trauma. * HotBlooded: She has one hell of a temper, not unlike canon. It's usually played for laughs, but the few times it's actually played for drama, it's significant.

* MamaBear: She loves her son, VolleyingInsults aside. And she's not going to stand for him being hurt, even if he's a Kyuushingai and can well take care of himself. [[spoiler:She even goes as far as to physically threaten the business executive who helped facilitate Naruto's abduction, while wearing a disguise to hide who she really is]].

Naruto's father and Kushina's husband, he gets mentioned several times throughout the story before being formally introduced in Chapter 57. He's the head of the black-ops investigation team Yuyami.

* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: To Naruto, in terms of combat skill. He's actually able to put Naruto flat on his back without Naruto being able to land even a single hit.
* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: Implied. We know he's the leader of Yuyami, which includes Yugito, a former Kyuushingai and an ex-cop, and Itachi, a skilled combatant and gunslinger, and also that he's capable of [[TrainingFromHell mopping the floor with Naruto as a means of training the latter]]. He's definitely got what it takes.
* BerserkButton: Threatening harm to his family is basically a good way to sign your own death warrant. As shown in the fifteenth Gaiden, he was willing to [[KillItWithFire set a group of thugs on fire]] because they sought to burn down the Uzumaki home with Naruto and Kushina inside.
* BewareTheSillyOnes: His behavior is quite comical at times. He makes many a ShoutOut to real-life pop culture in the form of quotations, gives joking quips about [[ShipperOnDeck how he expects Itachi and Yugito to hook up]], and casually rebuffs Yugito's attempts at physical assault in response to his ribbing (these in themselves played for laughs) while being the target of both Yugito's (again comical) death threats and Itachi's insults...but then you remember that he's the field leader for a black-ops team, giving orders to said two members (Yugito a former Kyuushingai, Itachi a gun-slinging marksman) [[spoiler:and [[PapaWolf also made a point]] of visiting the home of the man who led Naruto into a trap by Akatsuki, without actually killing said man due to the decision to leave him to [[MamaBear Kushina]]]]. Not to mention, during the second TimeSkip he was in charge of Naruto's training, with Naruto (also a Kyuushingai) being completely unable to land even ''a single hit'' on Minato during the one flashback scene showcasing the TrainingFromHell Minato put him through; and he can and will use the JackBauerInterrogationTechnique on anyone he needs information out of without batting an eye, ''and'' Kankuro implies in Chapter 59 that it would be a suicidal move to confront Minato head-on because, if he'd volunteered for the Kyuushingai training program, they wouldn't have needed more people than just him. Digest all that for a minute.
* BigGood: Essentially. While he's taking orders from the Minister of Justice, he's the one directing how the good guys carry out their objectives.
* BunnyEarsLawyer: In sharp contrast to his canon self, Minato is incredibly immature and childish in his behavior, ribbing his own subordinates and family over little things that are bound to annoy them while being absolutely casual about it, and has a hint of perversion to his character (read: disguising a recording device as a tampon for Yugito to wear). This is the same man who's in charge of a highly-effective black-ops investigative team.
* ColdBloodedTorture: He was willing to burn [[spoiler:Temari]] [[GroinAttack on the genitals]] with a blowtorch for the sake of getting information, ''without hesitating about it, at that''. Granted, he ''is'' head of a black-ops team, and the information he was seeking was necessary to save lives, but even still...
* DeathGlare: In the fifteenth Gaiden, he's described as having one that could melt solid steel if it were possible. Granted, the recipient of the glare ''did'' try to murder Naruto and Kushina in their sleep.
* DisappearedDad: Prior to Chapter 57, he was this for Naruto, although not by death, since it was already confirmed that he was still alive. [[DaddyHadAGoodReasonForAbandoningYou The reason for his absence was because he is in charge of Yuyami, which is investigating the events that led to the 365 days of carnage two years ago]].
* GoodIsNotSoft: He's a good guy who'll willingly set people on fire for pissing him off.
* ImprobableAimingSkills: Minato's ''good'' with firearms. In the main story, he doesn't miss a single one of his targets, whether with a handgun or a sniper-rife. In the twenty-ninth Gaiden, he proves capable of shooting several criminals in their extremities from several meters away, as well as [[BlastingItOutOfTheirHands shooting a gun out of one criminal's hand]], and that's only because he's specifically seeking ''not'' to kill them outright.
* InTheHood: His first appearance in the main story shows him wearing a white pullover jacket with a hood. Chronologically, he's first seen wearing it in the twenty-second Gaiden, set a short while before the start of the main story.
* ManChild: Acts this way at times, especially when teasing Itachi and Yugito about [[ShipperOnDeck the relationship he thinks they should have]].
* OneManArmy: A downplayed example as demonstrated in the fifteenth Gaiden, where he [[CurbStompBattle effortlessly takes out five hoodlums in the space of a few seconds]]. More heavily implied in the main story, where Kankuro indicates that if Minato had volunteered himself for the Kyuushingai training, ''he alone'' would have been all the trainers needed.
* PapaWolf: In the main story, after seeing what's happened to Naruto [[spoiler:as a result of the latter's capture and torture by Mizuki and Akatsuki]], Minato arranges for one perpetrator to get beaten up by Itachi, who already has [[BigBrotherInstinct personal reasons]] to batter the guy. He also pays a personal visit to Mitokado Homura, who was in league with that event, but takes care to hide his true identity and leaves any due violence to [[MamaBear Kushina]]. Then in the twenty-ninth Gaiden, he gets downright ''vicious'' on members of the RoguesGallery [[spoiler:when they plan to shoot up Naruto's wedding]].
* ParentalNeglect: He's been accused five different times of perpetrating this with Naruto. Put it this way: when ''the Prime Minister himself'' calls you out on being a bad parent, you ''know'' you've been a bad parent. Minato, to his credit, doesn't try to deny it.
* ShipperOnDeck: Actively encourages Itachi and Yugito to get together.
* SlasherSmile: Gives '''a positively menacing one''' to members of the RoguesGallery in the twenty-ninth Gaiden [[spoiler:after preventing them from crashing Naruto's wedding]].

* ScrewTheRulesImBeautiful: Unfortunately, [[RealityEnsues this doesn't help her]] when she gets in trouble with the cops for fighting Naruto [[spoiler:and trying to kill Ruka]].

* KnifeNut: She arms herself with a knife [[spoiler:to kill Ruka]].

* GlassesPull: He takes them off when preparing to uphold his insistence that Omoi call of his intended fight with Ajisai. [[spoiler:And as Omoi discovers, Mikoshi can ''[[CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass physically]]'' back up that insistence if pressed.]].

* BrilliantButLazy: Naruto is quite bored in some of his classes and isn't shown to do the requisite work, but he's skilled enough to completely solve a Rubik's cube in the time it takes Hiashi to say the first few letters of the alphabet.
