* UnstoppableRage: It's ambiguous, but the one in ''Pitfalls'' certainly gives off this vibe when it starts shrieking its lungs out and seemingly pounding the wall it's standing next to with its left arm while shaking its right arm furiously and proceeding to hurtle down the hallway towards Marv.

* TheVirus:
** Heavily implied going by what was happening to the deceased young man's body in ''Autopsy Report''.
** [[spoiler:''Found Footage #2'' all but confirms that humans who die in the Backrooms turn into these entities]].
* VoiceChangeling: ''Pitfalls'' shows that it's able to mimic voices it hears. In this case, it mimics the original filmmaker's cries of "Hello?" and "Can anybody hear me?"
* WasOnceAMan: [[spoiler:It's heavily implied in ''Found Footage #2'' that they are former humans who have transformed after they died in the Backrooms, as shown by the person who was no-clipped in their car.]]
* WoundedGazelleGambit: Thanks to being a VoiceChangeling, they can draw people towards them by mimicking cries of distress. This ends up duping Hazmat Marv with the camera in ''Pitfalls''.

* AmbiguouslyHuman: Due to the brief glimpse of his body we get in ''Reunion'' being completely black, there is speculation that he's in the process of transforming into a Bacteria or some other entity. His face ''looks'' human on the cameras in ''Damage Control'', and ASYNC claim to have conducted a medical examination which found nothing amiss, but the low quality makes it hard to say for sure.

* WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds: By the time Marvin, Mark and Randall encounter him in ''Reunion'' he's deranged and willing to kill, but clearly also a man at the end of his tether who's been driven insane both by his isolation in the Backrooms and the trauma of being mourned by everyone he ever knew or loved and left for dead by his employer.

* BehindTheBlack: Incredibly skilled at hiding in the shadows.

* EvilIsBigger: AmbiguouslyEvil. It's incredibly tall, though this is in no way a detriment to its ability to move fast.
