* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:In ''Core Medal of Resurrection'', he shields a girl from being attacked by the Ancient King OOO at the cost of his life. His sacrifice would then be the catalyst of Ankh's revival. Discounting [[Series/KamenRider555 Takumi Inui]] (If ''Series/KamenRiderZiO'''s retcons were to be taken into account) and [[Series/KamenRiderDecade Tsukasa Kadoya]] (who can be revived thanks to the belief of everyone), this marks the first time a mainline rider has been KilledOffForReal.]]

* SurprisinglyGoodEnglish: A few of her lines at the end of #10 when she tries to teach Ankh etiquette and table manners[[note]]Though the purpose is ambiguous, since her restaurant is taking on a school theme in the scene.[[/note]] certainly count. Not one bit of accent when she used English.

* ShockAndAwe: The Kuwagata Medal can generate lightning from its horns, while the Unagi Medal uses electrified whips.

* WhipItGood: The Unagi Medal with the Denki Unagi Whips, crossing over with ShockAndAwe.

* RichIdiotWithNoDayJob: Subverted. He used to be an emissary for his politician father, with a genuine desire to help people. Unfortunately, his father used the money he donated to the African village he was in to fund a civil war which killed a girl he befriended, which he exploited to earn votes. This traumatic incident robbed him of all desire, turning him into a self-sufficient wanderer helping people along the way.

* BeingEvilSucks: The only Greeed to not just realize just how lousy an existence being one really is, but want to do something about it.

* HeelFaceRevolvingDoor: The last act sees Ankh realize he's turned face, turn heel for a few episodes, then turn face again just in time for the GrandFinale.

* HiddenDepths: Somehow, he ended up being a right forearm, while the rest of him is a completely separate entity. Even he and the rest of his body seem confused as to how this happened until #30.

* UnexplainedRecovery: [[spoiler:Shingo, in the end. He reclaims his body for good, and returns to a normal life.]]

* VillainousBSOD: [[spoiler:Goes into one (of the HeelRealization variant) at the climax of #46, when Eiji ''thanks him'' for helping him rediscover his desire: to help people. Ankh instantly stops attacking him and freezes up at the notion.]]

** It's also the name of the Egyptian symbol of life, he's the only thing keeping Shingo alive (and later, [[PinocchioSyndrome becoming truly alive has become his true desire]]). His theme ''Ankh The Greeed'' seems to support this as it is Egyptian themed.

* BalefulPolymorph: Is forced into fully transforming into a berserk, mindless Greeed by Dr. Maki in #46. Fortunately he managed to return to his true self come next episode.

* IneffectualSympatheticVillain: While not really evil, Ankh does change sinds a few times. He gets sick of working with the other Greeed rather quickly because their quest for power isn't going to fill the void within them.

* AntiHero: Type V. He's only helping Eiji against the other Greeed because it's in his own best interests, and has no qualms about who is hurt so long as he gets what he wants. He slowly mellows out into a Type II.

* IHaveTheHighGround: Likes hanging out in trees and other high places, which is completely natural since he's the Bird Greeed.

* ImageSong: "Time Judged All", which he shares with Ankh. It also serves as the theme of Tajadol combo.

* SdrawkcabName: The SoKaBi announcement is just reverse of BiKaSo.

* SacrificialRevivalSpell: [[spoiler: In ''Core Medal of Resurrection'', an already-dying Eiji uses what's left of his life alongside the desire from his DyingWish to reunite with Ankh to finally repair the broken Taka Medal and bring the Greeed back to life.]]

** ''Core Medal of Resurrection'' also reveals that his CharacterDevelopment of figuring out what he wanted for himself led to him [[spoiler:gaining desire ''so'' big that the Kougami Foundation was able to use it to make an artificial Greeed]].
