Her ability is "Concealing Eyes," and it allows her to change a person's perception so as to make it seem like a person or object isn't there. This ability works only within a certain distance of herself.

Mekakushi Dan Group Member No.2, he was raised in the same orphanage as Kido and Kano. He works various part-time jobs, and has the habit of wandering around. He was also the one who invited Marry to the Mekakushi Dan.

His ability is "Stealing Eyes," and with it [[{{Telepathy}} he can take information from any given target just by looking at them]]. He doesn't really like it though, seeing as it's an ability which makes it so that he doesn't have to communicate with others, as such he rarely uses it.

His ability is to "Deceiving Eyes," which he can use to change people's perception of the things around them, making them see something different from what's actually there. However, unlike Kido's ability which can affect other things within a certain distance from her, the effects of Kano's ability are only limited to himself anything or anyone he's making physical contact with.

Mekakushi Dan Group Member No.4, she is very reclusive and has a hard time communicating with people she isn't familiar with. She's 1/4 gorgon, 3/4 human girl, and was raised in the forest isolated from society. When her parents died she had been living alone until Seto found her.

Her ability is "Drawing Eyes," a power which draws people's attention to her. She had developed this ability when she was at the beach with her father where she nearly drowned. Because of this ability, she had been alienated from people and had no friends, but once she had joined the Mekakushi Dan she became more bright and cheerful.

Mekakushi Dan Group Member No. 7, a hikikomori with an IQ of 168. He dropped out in his first year of high school. Since then, he didn't leave the house until two years later. He's Momo's older brother.

Mekakushi Dan Group Member No.8, a boy from the countryside that visits the city alongside Hiyori. He acts mature for his age, however he is very cheeky and tends to quarrel with Momo a lot.

* StepfordSmiler: Downplayed. Despite his outgoing and kind personality, he has a rather pessimistic thought process. It's also hinted that he isn't really as gentle as he presents himself to be, and is actually quite hateful at heart.

While this does refer to how he "steals" the thoughts, emotions, and memories of others, "steal" can also mean to come and go without being noticed. [[spoiler: Summertime Reload reveals that Seto had always been aware of the GroundhogDayLoop and wanted to break out of it more than anyone...all while being unnoticed by both the characters [[TheFourthWallWillNotProtectYou ''and'' the audience.]]]]

[[spoiler:Sadly, in the second route of the manga, Momo is killed by a possessed Hibiya and he was too late to prevent it from happening.]] Following that, however, [[spoiler:he declares to Ayano, thanks to some encouraging words from Ene, that if there's anyone left that he feels like he should protect, it's her.]]

* GreaterScopeParagon: [[spoiler:Shintaro became one at the end of the final volume of the light novel. It was him who created the complex MemoryGambit after he realized about the whole truth of Kagerou Daze, that the world is practically on a endless loop and not connected to the reality, allowing the world to exist as some kind of container for souls who died in the reality. He realized by enabling the loop, he theorized that their memories could be brought into the new loop which would work in the long run to save everyone and end the loop for good. Had it not for his plan, everyone would have likely continue to suffer and Mary would have stuck without any way to free everyone and herself from the never-ending loop. Hell, even the Snake of Combining Eyes is [[DidntSeeThatComing completely caught of guard when he realized it's Shintaro who completely destroy his plan in the long run.]]]]

* LockedOutOfTheLoop: Ultimately a [[DeconstructedTrope deconstruction]]. Shintaro doesn't know anything about Azami, her snakes, and the eye powers they grant their hosts, and is forced into the Gang simply because he knows where their hideout is after being taken there when he loses consciousness during the terrorist attack. None of the members really bother telling him what their actual mission is and where they get all their unique powers from, so when [[spoiler:Clearing Eyes comes knocking on their door to kill everyone]], Shintaro isn't able to help much. The very few times he DOES learn the context behind the Kagerou Daze and Azami, Shintaro was able to formulate a plan that saves a few members and even defeat the Clearing Eyes meaning that if Shintaro had this information from the start, he could have saved more lives. [[spoiler:This is the reason Marry bestowed the Retaining Eyes to Shintaro, so that he can remember all the details of what he learned throughout the loops.]] It's only when he finally remembers all of this that he's able to take action and contribute to the franchise's GoldenEnding. Simply put, the reason the GroundhogDayLoop has gone on for as long as it has is because nobody is telling Shintaro anything about the plot.

** In particular, Seto is the one whom Marry leans on the most, being the first one who showed Marry kindness and introduced her to the outside world and the Mekakushi Dan. One particular route where Seto survived is one where Marry did not reset time on the crack-back, choosing to spend the remainder of summer with him and Hibiya, with Marry turning back time when Seto wanted another chance at saving everyone. The Clearing Eyes figured it out in Mekakucity Actors and deliberately threatened Seto in the FinalBattle after curb-stomping everybody else to coerce Marry to use her powers to continue the looping world. Marry responds by ripping the snakes from all of the Mekakushi Dan present and forced open the Kagerou Daze. Keep in mind that the snakes were basically what kept the Mekakushi Dan members alive, so removing them the way she did would've put all of them in a near death situation.
