One of the first things we see him do is send them to steal valuable data from Damage Control, seemingly not caring when Sabretooth kills several innocent security guards in the process. House of X #2 indicates that he's not actually evil at all, but is willing to be way more pragmatic for the sake of the future.
* AntiHero: Gone are the days of the PatrickStewartSpeech-delivering idealist that we once knew. X is still very much someone with noble intentions and still believes in coexistence, but he's become a lot more pragmatic in response to learning the full extent of the problems facing mutantkind.

* GroundhogDayLoop: Her mutant power. She has ten lives, and every time she dies, she's transported back into her body as a fetus, with all of her prior memories. To summarize, her ten lives are as follows:
** Moira I: Moira lives a perfectly normal life lived as a human and never meets Professor X. She dies at 74 of natural causes.
** Moira II: Moira realizes that she's a mutant after first resurrecting, and discovers that she's a mutant after Charles Xavier, a former classmate at Oxford, reveals what he is to the world. She dies in a plane crash on her way to meet him.
** Moira III: Moira meets Professor X at Oxford, but finds him so repulsive and is so frustrated by her own powers that she begins developing a mutant cure. Destiny, Mystique, and Pyro discover this and kill her, but not before Destiny tells her about the nature of her powers and telling her that she'll be aware of her actions in every life.
** Moira IV: Moira and Professor X meet and have a happy life together. Things play out as they did in the backlog of X-Men comics, and they all live happily ever after... Until the ComicBook/DaysOfFuturePast timeline comes to pass and they both die.
** Moira V: Moira tells Professor X about her previous lives and the build Krakoa much earlier. The nation prospers until the Sentinels destroy it, along with her.
** Moira VI: [[TheUnreveal [REDACTED]]]
** Moira VII: Moira becomes an assassin and kills the Trasks to ensure the Sentinels are never built. This plan only delays the inevitable, and the Sentinels end up killing her and the other mutants anyway.
** Moira VIII: Moira presents her knowledge to Magneto this time, who declares war on the Sentinels and humanity as a whole. They get killed by an alliance of X-Men and Avengers.
** Moira IX: Moira presents her knowledge to Apocalypse this time. While they're able to defeat the heroes that stand in their way, the Sentinels end up killing them instead.
** Moira X: Moira moves away from her misanthropy of several of her past lives and instead goes back to trying to establish coexistence between humans and mutants, albeit in a much different way that involves "breaking the rules" that she established in past lives. She informs Professor X of all her knowledge and helps him enact a plan that will save mutantkind... And she's still alive, with her death being faked by the Shi'ar.

* MeaningfulName: Done retroactively; "Moira" meansmeans "destiny", which is somewhat ironic given her adversity toward Destiny herself, but it also fits given that she's aware of the destiny of mutantkind unless drastic action is taken. The name also translates to "shared", which is befitting of someone who shares multiple lifetimes' worth of knowledge with Professor X.

It's suggested that the reason is due to the mutants' acting in a xenophobic manner that worries the public; Omega Sentinel, despite having been an X-Man, is not a mutant and was not given the right to be on the island. Though, considering all the moral ambiguity at play, HazyFeelTurn might be the accurate trope.

charge of the Man-Mutant Ascendancy.
* DragonInChief: Implied. Nimrod the Lesser, though portrayed as the leader of the Man-Mutant Ascendancy that the others refer, very clearly asks Omega Sentinel for permission to be the one to "extract" the information from the uncooperative Cylobel, suggesting that Omega Sentinel is above Nimrod. The full details aren't yet known.

Though, considering all the moral ambiguity at play, HazyFeelTurn might be the accurate trope.trope in the present. In the future, however, this is in full effect as Omega Sentinel has become a straight-up villain.

* ReallySevenHundredYearsOld: By Powers of X, she's over a hundred years old and still going strong. It's stated that she's functionally immortal, so dying naturally isn't a concern for her.

Former member of the X-Men, Karima Shapandar now works for Orchis as Omega Sentinel. She lives to 2109 thanks to being functionally immortal, and is part of the Man-Machine Ascendancy.

* AmazingTechnicolorPopulation: Ninety years later, she has bright red skin.

A "chimera" mutant, and the last of a pacifist breed.

* BigGood: For the mutants. In Year 100, she keeps them safe in Shi'ar space.
* GreaterScopeParagon: Away from the action in Year 100, but important as the one who keeps mutantkind safe in her galaxy.
* FantasticRacism: Keeps what remains of humankind in a preserve -- not for their benefit, but as a reminder for everyone else that they're bad.
* TheGhost: Powers of X doesn't show her, only said in a graph.

* AntiVillain: It's hard to even see him as truly evil, but a product of the CrapsackWorld he lives in.
* BigBad: Presented as the main villain 100 years into the future.
* FantasticRacism: Doesn't like mutants, much like many other Marvel villains. Unlike most examples, however, Nimrod is much more three-dimensional and justified in his contempt for mutants. Even then, he doesn't appear to hate the mutants themselves but what they've done to the world.

!Present

!!Krakoa

!!Krakoa

The land of mutants, where all can reside -- and no one else.
----
* AliensInCardiff: Krakoa is a resource rich, lush, advanced and alien-esque land where mutants reside. It is not located in North America, and certainly not near New York City like one might expect from Marvel, or on some fancy place like the Moon, Mars or an altogether alien world, or even some alternate dimension, but rather in the Oceania region, not far off from Australia.
* TheAlliance: Krakoa is alliance of mutants, of all kinds and backgrounds (heroes, villains, neutrals) bound together to give mutantkind a home as they are set to become the majority.
* Conlang: Krakoa now has its own language, devised by Cypher, that is telepathically imprinted on any mutants who come to its main island. This language is shown throughout the comics.
* HiddenElfVillage: Krakoa, a nation that only mutants can reside in. Humans must have permission from higher authorities to visit, and are unable to live there. Similarly, beings of other superpowered origins (such as mutates) like the Fantastic Four or Spider-Man also fall under this restriction. The only two known exceptions thus far of non-mutants living on Krakoa is the alien dragon Lockheed (more of a TeamPet than an actual individual of his own) and the techno-organic alien Warlock (considered a "mutant" of a sort for being different than the other members of his race). Notably, this restriction even appears to extend to past friends, allies and team members that weren't actually mutants; Omega Sentinel, a former member of the X-Men but not a mutant, was not extended the ability to reside there, which may partly explain why she now works against them as part of Orchis.
* PortalNetwork: Krakoa now has a type of flower that grows in an arch that teleports whoever it wishes to a paired flower in a remote location. They'll automatically transport mutants, but humans need mutants to ask permission to travel to the main island itself.
* TruceZone: Officially, Krakoa is this for all mutants. Everyone, regardless of legal status (hero, villain or whatever), can live on Krakoa so long as they don't cause trouble there. However, the amnesty offered only extends so far, and seems to be something revoked if it would cause too much trouble with others, such as Sabretooth's arrest by the Fantastic Four.

!!Charles Xavier / X
-->"To me, my X-Men."

Charles Xavier, the longtime supporter for equal rights to mutantkind. He leads the nation that is Krakoa, after learning that mutants will become the majority in twenty years' time.
----
* AmbiguouslyEvil: Something isn't right about him. Not only has he inexplicably abandoned his philosophy of integration and equality in favor of isolationism and looking down on normal humans, but he’s suddenly willing to work with villains like Mystique, Sabretooth, and Toad to get things done. One of the first things we see him do is send them to steal valuable data from Damage Control, seemingly not caring when Sabretooth kills several innocent security guards in the process.
* MalevolentMaskedMen: His signature helmet, which looks a lot like the Maker. Though what level of "evil" he is remains to be seen, he's shown to not be on the side that favors non-mutants.
* VillainProtagonist: The closest thing the storyline has to a main character, and while what level of villainy isn't known, he's not exactly a shining paragon.

!!Max Eisenhardt / Magneto
-->"You see, I know how you humans love your symbolism, almost as much as you love your religion. And I wanted you--I needed you--to understand... You have new gods now."

Max Eisenhardt, Erik Lensherr, Magneto. Longtime enemy, sometimes ally, and friend of Xavier. Firmly believes in the superiority of mutantkind. He acts as the right hand of Xavier.
----
* Ambadassador: He acts as the representative of Krakoa in the place of Xavier.
* BlasphemousBoast: Comparing the mutants to being gods, as the above quote demonstrates.
* TheDragon: Acts in Xavier's favor when needed, and is the highest authority behind Xavier himself.
* LightIsNotGood: His new costume is primarily white, but he's not a shining paragon of virtue unless you're a mutant.

!!Scott Summers / Cyclops

A founding X-Man and one of the highest authorities on Krakoa.
----
* PolitenessJudo: How he deals with the Fantastic Four. While civil and polite the whole way through, it's only to get things done easier instead of making demands. He largely dismisses them apart from Ben, and only backs down from taking Sabretooth back when it's clear he could end up starting a fight if he goes further. Even then, it's likely only a delay.
-->Scott: Why don't you keep him? We'll deal it some other time -- some other way.
* SnapBack: After being the most hated man in Marvel, Cyclops is back to his old ReasonableAuthorityFigure characterization with a slight edge like before.
* StealthInsult: Not exactly "stealthy", but infers to the Fantastic Four that Reed and Sue's child Franklin is welcome on Krakoa to his "real" family right to their faces while still being polite about it.

!!Jean Grey / Marvel Girl

!!Doug Ramsay / Cypher

A famous member of the New Mutants. Cypher serves as Krakoa's technician alongside Sage. He's also combined with Warlock.
----
* FusionDance: His best friend Warlock merged with him sometime before.
* HeartIsAnAwesomePower: As is fitting with his characterization post-resurrection, we get to see another very useful application of his mocked language power -- Cypher constructs a unique computer language that manages all traffic on Krakoa, which allows the entire place to function. Oh, and he develops the mutant language as well.
* TheSmartGuy: He's the chief technician on Krakoa.
* ThoseTwoGuys: Has this dynamic with Sage, as they are the two main technicians of the island and thus operate together.

!!Tessa / Sage

Former member of the Hellfire Club and a common ally. Sage serves as Krakoa's technician alongside Cypher.
----

* ThoseTwoGuys: Has this dynamic with Cypher, as they are the two main technicians of the island and thus operate together.

!!Raven Darkholme / Mystique

One of the X-Men's most prominent villains, but now an ally of Xavier's cause.
----
* TheDragon: Downplayed. She's one of the main enforcers of Krakoa made to do the dirty work, but she clearly has her own agendas. Notably, in the main universe, this is probably the closest Mystique has been to being Magneto's lackey (despite the popularity of it in adaptations).
* MsFanservice: It's Mystique, what do you expect? She gets her share of MaleGaze shots and the art accentuates her body when possible.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: She knows not to try her luck against the Fantastic Four.

!!Mortimer Toynbee / Toad

Mystique's follower and tech expert.
----
* CoDragons: With Sabretooth to Mystique. Though, in Toad's case, he doubles as the EvilGenius.
* EvilGenius: As an expert mechanic, he's the go-to guy for getting the data from Damage Control.
* ExtremeDoormat: He's pretty dependent on Mystique, asking if he should run to the portal (when it's pretty obvious they should) and just following orders without question. Mystique also tells Toad to play with the mutants while she's off to meet Magneto and Xavier, to which he does.

!!Victor Creed / Sabretooth

Mystique's follower and muscle.
----
* TheBrute: He's the most brutal of the three, and is the one does the bulk of the fighting.
* CoDragons: With Toad to Mystique. Though, in Sabretooth's case, he doubles as TheBrute.
* LaserGuidedKarma: ZigZagged. Sabretooth is the one the failed to make it to the portal to Krakoa before the Fantastic Four came in, while Mystique and Toad made it just in time. He was also the most brutal and evil of them, just like always. However, though Cyclops fails to convinced the FF to let him go, the way he speaks heavily indicates it won't be long until he's back on Krakoa.
* TokenEvilTeammate: Impressively, he comes off as this next to Mystique and Toad. The other two, while not saints by any stretch of the imagination, are in the business of getting their jobs done and getting the hell out of there. Sabretooth, being who he is, relishes in killing the guards and causing unnecessary damage.

!!ComicBook/FantasticFour

Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch and The Thing. Marvel's first family, and a longtime ally of the X-Men. Things are a little shaky right now, however.
----
* OneHundredPercentAdorationRating: The Thing is quite possibly the most beloved hero in the Marvel Universe, and that stays true here. While Cyclops casually dismisses the others, he makes sure to congratulate Ben on his wedding.
* BashBrothers: Johnny and Ben. They spot Mystique, Toad and Sabretooth robbing from Damage Control and were ready to kick some ass.
