* CartoonDogBreed: He's a big yellow dog, with white ear tips, of indeterminate breed.

A scientific genius, the "father of modern bionics" and the man who gave Inspector Gadget all his gadgets. Initially only appeared in a single episode, but returned in the second season for a few more episodes to assist Penny and Gadget.

* ReedRichardsIsUseless: When kidnapped and ordered to build killer robots for Dr Claw, he builds them to look like Gadget and programs them with his own personality, making them act like doddering old men and thus useless. While this could have been deliberate sabotage on his part, his puzzled reaction to Dr Claw's outrage indicates he really thinks there is nothing wrong with them.

* ManChild: He occasionally acts this way, such as in "Gone Went the Wind", when he becomes snow blind, mistakes a polar bear for Santa Claus, and sits on the polar bear's lap, asking for a choo-choo train, a candy cane, and a doll of himself.

Penny's super-intelligent dog who always assists her when she works in the shadow to help Gadget. As Penny is not an ActionGirl and always needs to use her portable computer, it's him who always does the field work and ensures Gadget doesn't get killed.

* HerrDoktor: He has the accent and his name is even a German word.

* KarmaHoudini: She is seen arrested at the end of the first episode with her, but the next has her free and back with MAD with no explanation. She does not get arrested in her next two appearances.
