Belloq is introduced by the ten minute mark of ''Raiders'' and is established as being a persistent rival to Indy who has no problem getting his hands dirty in the field; Mola Ram isn't introduced until the beginning of the third act in ''Temple,'' and prefers to stay hidden in the shadows.

Willie gets put through the absolute wringer in the movie. She's constantly put in peril, has several bugs crawl over her, terrorized by the wildlife, is unable to eat a meal for nearly an entire day due to its nauseous quality, and nearly killed several times over the course of the movie.
