* AdaptationalWimp: Zigzagged in the last episode of the anime adaptation. On one hand, the anime removed Kizuna's fight with a BrainwashedAndCrazy Yurishia, where Kizuna took the SuperSpeed he got by copying Aine's Zeros and elevated it to a level where he is basically moving ''at the speed of light''. It also didn't show him getting a good hit on Zelshione with nothing but his {{Determinator}} credentials. But on the other hand, the anime also gave him the ability to draw on the power of the girls without Climax Hybrid by sheer PowerOfLove, something he never did in the light novel.

* AllLovingHero: Becomes this in the later volumes of the light novel after getting a chance to see the conflict from the other side and discovering his foes aren't as vile as he thought they were.

* FemaleGaze: Surprisingly, his TransformationSequence in the anime is (almost) as Fanservicey as those of his BattleHarem.

In the light novel Kizuna really struggled during their BeamOWar, and he was only able to deliver the final blow with Hayuru's help. In the anime Kizuna wins by himself with Hayuru showing up only after Grabel was already defeated.

* SpellMyNameWithAnS: In the illustrations from the Light Novel her name is spelled Gravel, but the title card from Episode 7 of the anime uses Grabel.

* LoveAtFirstPunch: An anime-only flashback implies that she fell in love with Grabel after the two of them almost killed each other in a duel.

* ScarsAreForever: An anime-only scene shows that she has a scar in her chest from the duel she had with Grabel.

* AdaptationalVillainy: In the light novels she never took part of Zelshione’s "Interrogations" because she deemed that it was too early for Ragrus. In the anime, Ragrus is there when Grabel is interrogated, and is clearly enjoying seeing the woman suffer.

* AdaptationDyeJob: Her hair is cyan blue in the light novels, while in the anime it is violet-black.
* AdaptationalCurves: Inverted, her breasts are notably smaller in the anime adaptation.

* HeroKiller: In the light novels, she kills Brigit under Nayuta's orders. This makes her the only antagonist in the series to successfully kill one of the heroes.

* SpellMyNameWithAnS: In the illustrations from Volume 9 of the Light Novel, her name is spelled Zelcyone, but translators have written it as Zelsione or Zelshione.

* DemotedToExtra: Sure, they never had a big role in the volumes of the novel that the anime adapts in first place, but at least they took part of the climactic battle in volume 4 by facing the Masters. In the anime however, Zelshione faced both Amaterasu and Masters alone, resulting in the Quartum appearing exactly once in the entire anime. And they didn't even get any lines in this single scene!

** RebuiltPedestal: Turns out that the A-class enemy showing up in the place Yurishia sent the Masters to was just a sad coincidence. She was worried that Scarlett's missiles would hit the city if she missed her shots, so she lied by saying that the enemies had changed direction to ensure that Scarlett wouldn't have to take part of this battle. When she discovered that an A-class enemy really appeared there, she disobeyed orders to go rescue her teammates even though she was exhausted from taking an entire squad by herself. Scarlett can barely hold back her tears when she discovers this.
