[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wonderlandsxshowtime.png]]
A fun-loving, musical-style unit that always wants to put on a show. Tsukasa Tenma has been in love with musicals since he was a child and strove to become a star, eventually earning a part-time job at an empty and rarely-visited stage at the local theme park, Phoenix Wonderland. Joined by three eccentric social outcasts, the four explore the SEKAI to find their purpose, form a connection, and rediscover why Tsukasa really fell in love with music.
----
[[folder:General]]
* AlternateCompanyEquivalent: {{Downplayed}}. The concept of the group as a whole shares elements with Hello, Happy World! from ''Colorful Stage!''[='s=] predecessor ''[[VideoGame/BangDreamGirlsBandParty BanG Dream!]]'', being the DenserAndWackier units of their respective games comprised of misfits that perform with the goal of making the world smile, while also having an associated mascot and being the ''only'' groups in their games that have this. However, despite filling similar roles and niches, Wonderlands x Showtime is able to differentiate itself from Hello, Happy World! when it comes to story progression and character development.
* BorrowedCatchphrase: Wonderhoy is primarily Emu's {{Catchphrase}}, but it soon becomes the group's mantra before putting their plans into motion. It also spreads to other characters outside of the unit, [[InvokedTrope courtesy of Emu]].
* CastHerd: They were the first unit to have all six of the Crypton VIRTUAL SINGERS appear in their associated SEKAI:
** Hatsune Miku and KAITO were their starting VIRTUAL SINGERS.
** Kagamine Len officially debuted in ''It's On! Wonder Halloween!'' despite having a character card since launch.
** MEIKO debuted in the event story ''On This Holy Night, I Sing''.
** Kagamine Rin officially debuted in the event story ''Musical Twilight Parade''.
** Megurine Luka debuted in the event story ''Doll Festival at the Tenma's''.
* ColorCodedCharacters: As a whole, the unit is associated with the color Orange.
** Tsukasa: Yellow
** Emu: Hot Pink
** Nene: Shamrock (a light green)
** Rui: Lavender
* DarkerAndEdgier: When they are given SEKAI duets, Tsukasa and Rui tend to get songs like this, such as "King" and "Fixer". As a group, they've been given songs like "Love ka?" and "Chururira Chururira Daddadda!".
* DenserAndWackier: The goofiest of the units, and their SEKAI is a {{Cloudcuckooland}} with living stuffed animals and flying theme park attractions, while most of the other SEKAI have more down-to-earth settings like a school, stage, or street corner.
* FlowerMotifs: They're each depicted with flowers in their 2022 birthday cards.
** Tsukasa: Botan, Tulips and Persian Violets
** Emu: Sea Asters, Chrysanthemum and Skunk Vines
** Nene: Sunflowers, Bougainvillea and Prairie Gentiants
** Rui: Vervain, Masterworts and Hypericum Erectum
* ForHappiness: The group was formed for the sake of making shows that would make others smile.
* FourTemperamentEnsemble:
** Cheerful and hyperactive Emu is Sanguine
** Loud and determined Tsukasa is Choleric
** Withdrawn OnlySaneMan Nene is Melancholic
** Calm and sharp-minded Rui is Phlegmatic
* GenreRoulette: While not to the same extent as MORE MORE JUMP!, some of their songs could be considered odd picks knowing their usual style, particularly "Chururira Chururira Daddadda!" (a hard rock song about a malicious [[TheStoolPigeon Stool Pigeon]]) or "Buriki no Dance" (an eclectic electro-rock song).
* ImageSong: [[https://youtu.be/uQJMw-p-X0M The World Hasn't Even Started Yet]]
** The individual members also have focus songs:
*** Tsukasa: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfVWqos23xs TONDEMO-WONDERZ]], [[https://youtu.be/giOsLry_orw 88☆彡]], [[https://youtu.be/jSL3Q2BHtH4 Mr. Showtime]], and [[https://youtu.be/e14s4bMmHdI Filament Fever]]

*** Nene: [[https://youtu.be/eLIUBridZsw Nijiiro Stories]], [[https://youtu.be/JoM4JGqQyCU Glory Steady Go!]], [[https://youtu.be/22x2JzhqKnI Hoshizora no Melody]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVCi-d0UrVw Hakoniwa no Coral]]
*** Rui: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_h1uJcLsAE potato ni Natte iku]], [[https://youtu.be/bKKxLK_1ae8 Showtime Ruler]], and [[https://youtu.be/1W-7h8LO-Hg Donna Ketsumatsu ga Onozomi Dai?]]
* LyricalDissonance: A bit of a staple with this group as some of the songs they tend to perform have lyrics that do not match their usually upbeat melody, but the two most notable examples may be their image song and ''Becoming Potatoes''. For the former, by nature of their image song being made by legendary producer [=PinocchioP=] (who is known for this), the lyrics are often found to be somewhat bleak in contrast with the song's incredibly fun and energizing tune. For the latter, you'd be surprised to learn that the funky-tuned song is about how meaningless the singer's life is.
* MeaningfulName:
** Invoked in their main story. The crew interpret their ImageSong’s name, "The World Hasn’t Even Started Yet", as ‘our performance starts here. We’ll create lots of worlds through our shows.’
** In regards to the characters, each surname is a reference to a legendary being:
*** Tsukasa '''Tenma''': Pegasus, [[MythicalMotifs which is also his mystical motif]]
*** Emu '''Otori''': Phoenix, which is referenced in the title of the theme park her family owns "Phoenix Wonderland"
*** Nene '''Kusanagi''': The Kusanagi sword
*** Rui '''Kamishiro''': Kami, God
* RagtagBunchOfMisfits: It couldn't get anymore Ragtag with an AttentionWhore CrowdPleaser, a ManicPixieDreamGirl, a [[DeadpanSnarker snarky vocalist]], and a [[GadgeteerGenius teen genius mad inventor]]. That's not even getting into the personalities of the Virtual Singers in their corresponding SEKAI.
* ShoutOut: Given that they're a musical-style unit that performs stage plays, this is to be expected. However, while many of their plays reference popular pieces of media, there are smaller, less obvious shout-outs given such as when Rui references [[{{Lampshade}} his situation]] to [[{{Creator/SamuelBeckett}} Samuel Beckett]]'s ''Waiting For Godot'' in a flashback during ''KAMIYAMA HIGH FESTIVAL!''.
* SugarBowl: A number of the worlds featured in their trained cards take place in one. As well, their associated SEKAI looks like one.
* XMakesAnythingCool: Their group name has an "x" in it just because Emu thought it would sound cool and nobody disagreed.

Tsukasa is the show-off type of guy who's always overflowing with self-confidence, and has the tendency to get easily caught up in the moment. Ever since he watched a show performed by his favorite theater troupe as a kid, he has aimed to be the world's biggest star.
----
* AngstWhatAngst: InUniverse example. He has a very solutions-oriented attitude when faced with hardships. This made it difficult for him to relate to Torpe, a character who looks at the stars during hard times, as Tsukasa couldn't understand why he'd waste his time moping when he could use that time to keep pushing forward. [[spoiler:That is, until he realized that he used playing piano in a similar way when he was younger, and that taking some quiet time to process his emotions isn't the same as moping or giving up.]]
* AnimalMotifs: His surname includes the characters for 'pegasus', which he often tries to incorporate in his self-appointed titles. It is also occasionally his associated animal motif in merch.
* AttentionWhore: To the point that most people in his school know him for being this.
* AwesomeByAnalysis: While not to the degree of [[TheAce Mafuyu]], Tsukasa is able to quickly learn and pick up on things by watching. In his "Happy Birthday!! 2022" side story, he mastered a complicated dance routine in under five minutes by merely watching the video twice to the disbelief of Akito.
* BadImpressionists: In Akito's "Happy Birthday!!" 2022 side story, he and the rest of Wonderlands x Showtime put on for Akito's birthday called "Lord of Vivid BAD SQUAD" which details the events of Toya and Akito's first meeting, down to the formation of Vivid BAD SQUAD (as described by Toya). Tsukasa plays the role of Akito, and while the players only get a glimpse of his portrayal, Tsukasa's rendition of Akito was just him acting like his usual self while announcing Akito's goal of surpassing RAD WEEKEND. Despite how unmatched the portrayal was, he still prides himself on his "cool" impersonation. Humorously, he does a surprisingly good vocal impression Nene in the same side story.
* BigBrotherInstinct:
** Cares deeply about his sister, Saki. His initial motivation for wanting to become a star was to make his sickly sister smile, though he had forgotten it by the start of Wonderlands x Showtime's unit story. However, he rekindles the reason why he wanted to be a star in the first place as the story continues.
** Also extends to his relationship with Toya, who Tsukasa sees as a younger brother.
* BookDumb: {{Implied}} to be. While he's by no means unintelligent and appears to get decent grades due to studying, various areas conversations show that he's not particularly gifted at school. Rui is seen correcting his English in one and in another, he reveals to Akito that he used to guess answers on tests (something the latter does) due to practice cutting into studying time before he started cramming everything he could the night before a test.
* BoyBand: In the alternate version of Shibuya introduced in the AprilFoolsDay 2022 event, he teams up with BAD DOGS' Akito and Toya, as well as Rui to form the "backstreet entertainer" group FANTASISTA SQUAD, which combined elements of street singing and stage play production into their performances.
* BunnyEarsLawyer: Despite his many eccentricities, Tsukasa is noted to be incredibly skilled as a performer as noted by Nene, and is a very quick learner and improviser.
* ButtMonkey: Between Emu being a [[GenkiGirl constant whirlwind of energy]], Nene's [[DeadpanSnarker snark]] and Rui using him as a guinea pig for his oftentimes dangerous inventions and stunts, among other unfortunate happenings such as food poisoning, he can't seem to catch a break. He may be an even bigger example of this than ''[[BornUnlucky Minori]]''.
* CharacterDevelopment: This is shown best in ''Wonder Magical Showtime!'', where the day of the stage act competition happens to fall on the same day [[spoiler:Emu's brothers brought a foreign sponsor to aid their plans of changing the amusement park's future]]. Tsukasa, who was formerly obsessed with the glory of winning the competition, [[spoiler:decides to put it aside for the sake of the amusement park's future and keeping the ideals of Emu's grandfather alive.]]
** Again in ''Towards the Phoenix at the Sky's Edge'', where he auditions for a role in Phoenix Wonderland's 30th anniversary performance, since the role is the same one that inspired him to get into acting as a child. [[spoiler:During rehearsals, he struggles to connect with the character's emotions and can't make the role feel real. After watching someone else perform the role, he accepts that he isn't improving by taking on challenging roles and overcoming these through sheer determination, and he lets himself face his weaknesses and inferiority properly for the first time. In the end, he is able to channel this helplessness into the role, and improves his performance enough by the time of his audition to land the part.]]
* TheChewToy: His suffering is PlayedForLaughs, and happens so often that his teammates have long since become desensitized to it.
** Averted in ''[[Recap/HatsuneMikuColorfulStageFullPowerWonderHalloween It's On! Wonder Halloween!]]'', where his accidentally getting injured during practice is PlayedForDrama [[spoiler:when it leads Rui to worry that Tsukasa may one day not want to work with him anymore due to getting injured by his inventions and stage directions, leading him to start subconsciously holding himself back]].
** Gradually becomes downplayed as the story continues and he and his troupemates become closer.
* ChildhoodFriends: He's connected to several characters in the cast, having met and befriended them in his childhood:
** His mother was Toya's piano teacher when Toya was a child, which gave Toya an opportunity to play with him and Saki as children. Their friendship has continued into high school, with Tsukasa acting as an older brother figure to Toya.
** He's also familiar with the members of Leo/need through Saki, though they aren't quite close to him as they are to Saki herself.
** To a lesser extent, he was also this with Shizuku, due to their younger sisters being best friends. He got to know her during their second year of elementary school, and they sometimes played together in the park.
* CoolBigBro: To Saki and Toya, despite not being related to the latter.
* CrowdPleaser: He aims to become the number one star so he can produce shows that make the audience shed TearsOfJoy.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: His eyes are amber, like parts of his hair.
* TheDeterminator:
** Played for laughs. In ''An Ode for the Pure of Heart'', Tsukasa gets sick and can't attend a part-time job he's taken, leading to Saki to contact a few of his friends to take his place. As she's doing so, she's heard telling him to get back in bed as he stubbornly tries to leave for the job but couldn't get pass the door without feeling ill.
** Played straight otherwise in his desire to become the "Greatest World Star." Tsukasa being a hardworking character, combined with him being very solution-oriented, means he won't stay down when faced with a problem; ''especially'' when it comes to shows and doing things for his sister. He will keep working to the last moment to make something perfect if he has to.
*** ''Towards the Phoenix at the Sky's Edge'' actually takes this further. Tsukasa's method acting go as far as [[spoiler:starving himself for three days so he can understand the role he’s auditioning for better. Additionally, he forces himself into a what's essentially an emotional breakdown while watching his idol perform in order to fully process the feelings of weakness and inadequacy he needs to perform this role.]]
* TheDreaded: To Akito, who dreads his presence even after they become friendlier.
* EveryoneHasStandards: For as much as he loves to be praised, even he got embarrassed by the number of compliments Shizuku gave him, which Rui immediately teased him about.
* FisherKing: As the only other character whose SEKAI was born from his feelings alone, with the other being [[spoiler: Mafuyu]], the state of his SEKAI reflects many aspects of his personality and things from his childhood, such as Saki's childhood rabbit plush being a recurring character. Additionally, ''unlike'' [[spoiler: Mafuyu's]] SEKAI which introduces Virtual Singers that take aspects of their characterization from the Nightcord at 25:00 members, his SEKAI remains this way throughout the story with only the plushies reflecting outside conflicts regarding the Wonderlands x Showtime members.
* {{Foil}}: To Nightcord at 25:00's Mafuyu, being the two characters who are solely responsible for the creation of their respective SEKAI. Tsukasa's SEKAI is the most [[DenserAndWackier bright and colorful]], filled with theme park attractions and LivingToys, while Mafuyu's is the [[DarkerAndEdgier bleakest]], being colorless and largely empty. The Wonderland SEKAI was also the first to have all six Virtual Singers present, while the Empty SEKAI is the last.
** Tsukasa initially rejected his SEKAI and especially the hyperactive Miku that came with it, complaining every time Emu dragged him there against his will and wanting to leave as soon as possible. In contrast, Mafuyu has always been especially close with her SEKAI's Miku, and at one point [[spoiler:intended to remain in her SEKAI forever.]]
** They'd also both forgotten core parts of themselves before the start of their respective stories. Tsukasa had forgotten his original motive for wanting to become a star, becoming a self-obsessed GloryHound in the process, whereas Mafuyu [[spoiler:forced herself to meet the expectations of her parents and class, to the point of losing sight of her personal desires]]. Tsukasa's true feelings, and subsequent goal, is [[spoiler:the desire to make others happy]], while Mafuyu's is [[spoiler:the desire to be saved, and to rediscover what makes ''her'' happy.]]
** Tsukasa is loud and arrogant despite being TheChewToy of the cast, while Mafuyu is mild-mannered and humble despite being TheAce. [[spoiler:In reality, despite the ego, Tsukasa primarily focuses his energy outwards towards others and doesn't care to reflect on himself too much, while Mafuyu is incredibly depressed and desperate to find herself, and has become largely jaded and apathetic towards others.]]
* ForgetfulJones:
** Saki calls him a "forgetter" in ''Doll Festival at the Tenma's'' when she's angry at him for forgetting something that happened in their childhood that was important to her. PlayedWith in that [[spoiler:he hadn't actually forgotten, but had perceived the events differently, thinking he'd upset Saki while Saki had cherished it as a happy memory]]. He does, however, forget to take both his lunch and his phone, which keeps Saki from being able to apologize and end their conflict earlier.
** He almost forgot his change of clothes [[spoiler:before his flight to America]] in ''Popping in My Heart!'', having to run back home to get them.
* GiftedlyBad: His script-writing. In ''Kamiyama High Festival!'', his "Romeo: Battle Royale" script was so bad at being the tragedy that he intended that it wrapped back around into being an amazing comedy.
** Played with in that he is actually good at writing hopeful stories with happy ends, he's just very bad at writing tragedies.
* GiverOfLameNames:
** He initially proposed to name the troupe "Pegasus Soaring in the Sky Troupe", which Nene and Rui immediately dismissed as lame. He got a similar reaction when he called himself "Newborn Pegasus" in his second birthday show, and when he initially proposed "Pegasus Dogs" as the name for FANTASISTA SQUAD in the AprilFoolsDay event.
** According to Toya's initial 1* side story, he named the panda plush Toya passed onto him "Foreston Bear the First". Akito immediately works out that the name means "Forest Bear", and bluntly says that he's just calling it what it is.
** [[AllThereInTheManual A Q&A]] reveals that he originally gave Saki's rabbit plushie a weird name, but Saki refused and settled on [[ADogNamedDog Usa-chan]] instead.
* GloryHound: Until he remembered his real motives, he believed that his GoalInLife was to become the world's greatest star solely for the sake of fame and attention.
* HardWorkHardlyWorks: Initially averted and then later deconstructed. Tsukasa's hard work has continuously bore fruit in his acting endeavors. However, there is a limit to this. Because of the "type" of actor he is and the fact that he needs to find a connection with a character in order to portray them, there is only so much work in the traditional sense he can do. [[spoiler:''Towards the Phoenix at the Sky's Edge'' showcase this in full force where all the work he's done to improve has not shortened the distance between him and acting veterans like Asahi and Sakurako and ''especially'' his idol, Sei'ichi Amami. In addition to using method acting to understand the physical burden of not eating for three days and only drinking water like the character he's auditioning for, he forces himself to confront this aspect about himself in order to utilize those feelings for the role that inspired him to pursue acting.]]
* HeroWorship: Toya admires Tsukasa a lot, even in spite of his oddities, because of how much Tsukasa inspired him to branch out and leave his father's shadow.
* HiddenDepths: One of Tsukasa's specialties listed in his official bio is "playing piano" which gets an entire focus in ''On the Stage of Dazzling Light''. Despite downplaying it due to it now being a hobby, Tsukasa has been playing since he was a kid as his mother is a piano teacher. He was skilled enough to enter competitions and remains a very skilled pianist, being able to play complicated pieces such as [[Music/LudwigVanBeethoven Beethoven's]] ''Piano Sonata No. 14''. His playing is also considered to be "dazzling" by those who witness it.
* HumbleHero: At least in one regard. He doesn't dwell too much on the fact that his subtle encouragement was what motivated Toya to break free of his father's control. Whenever Toya praises him for it, he treats it as no big deal and says that he should thank Akito for giving Toya a smile.
* ItsAllAboutMe: His obsession with the spotlight borders on self-centeredness. The item you can buy to boost his stats is even a large statue of himself.
* TheKnightsWhoSaySquee: He openly has a lot of respect and admiration for Asahi, a member of Arkland which is known for hosting some of the biggest shows in the world.
* LargeHam: As he very rarely switches off his showman persona, he's always loud and dramatic, both on and off-stage.
* TheLeader: He's the self-proclaimed troupe leader, and as such, he's considered the face of the group in promotional material. Story-wise he's a mix of headstrong and charismatic and is the only character in the cast that is referred to as his group's leader in the story.
* LivingEmotionalCrutch: According to Toya's "Bond Between Siblings" side story, he was this to Toya, as their playing together as kids was what kept Toya going while he dealt with his troubled home life.
* ManlyTears:
** He cries with emotion (and very loudly, [[NoIndoorVoice obviously]]) in ''Doll Festival at the Tenma's'' when Saki talks about being proud to call him "my beloved big brother".
** He tears up with pride at Nene's performance in ''Scramble Fan Festival!''
* {{Mascot}}: Less so than Leo/need's Ichika, but he's treated as the representative of his group in the advertising alongside Miku, Ichika, Minori, Kohane, and Kanade.
* MySisterIsOffLimits: Subverted. In ''Stella After the Rain'', he's initially shocked and distraught when he believes Saki is going on a date (when she actually meant an outing with her friends) before acknowledging that Saki is old enough to be thinking about dating and voices his support for her.
* MythicalMotifs: He's occasionally associated with pegasus' as a reference to his surname which means "Pegasus".
* NiceGuy: While he is self-centered to a degree, he genuinely wishes to make others smile with his performances, especially his little sister. He also looks out for Toya, treating him akin to a younger sibling despite the two not being related.
* NoIndoorVoice: It’s basically a RunningGag in the comics that he’ll inadvertently disrupt a conversation by shouting at the top of his lungs. In almost all of his dialogue, he is seen, or rather heard, projecting his voice. According to Robo-Nene, his voice can match decibels with a ''train at an overpass''.
* ObliviousToHatred: He's completely oblivious to the fact that a majority of the time Akito wants nothing to do with him and is annoyed when he comes around.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: In ''Towards the Phoenix at the Sky's Edge'', he [[spoiler:breaks down crying after letting himself accept that he is inferior to the other actors around him. Although he has cried multiple times before this, this time it's out of helplessness and defeat. Rui mentions that Tsukasa ''needed'' to let this out.]]
* OddFriendship: Bonds with his SEKAI's KAITO despite their vastly different personalities. Being the Virtual Singer that's most connected to him, it's likely that this is because KAITO understands him more than anyone else, and reflects some aspects of his personality.
* OneDegreeOfSeparation: Despite this being present in the game as a whole, Tsukasa stands out due to being one of two characters who had the most cross-group connections when the game started at three, knowing at least one person from nearly every group on some level from childhood.
** Everybody in Leo/Need by virtue of his little sister Saki being ChildhoodFriends with them.
** MORE MORE JUMP!'s Shizuku Hinomori by proxy of her younger sister Shiho.
** Toya Aoyagi was a playmate of him and Saki's.
** The only group he lacked a proper connection in was N25 which changed very early after being acquainted with Mizuki Akiyama.
* TheOneGuy: As the only male face of a unit, this trope ends up coming into play for him when all the unit leads (and Miku) are shown together, such as during leaders-only (and Miku) events, and in promotional material like the Lawson collaboration.
* OutOfFocus: DownplayedTrope as he still played a role, but was still present in his first banner event ''Wonder Magical Showtime!''. While his face is on the banner, which would usually imply that the event is centered around him, the event itself was more of a continuation of ''Emu's'' story rather than his.
* PurpleProse: Often talks in a dramatic, sometimes antiquated fashion befitting of a star.
* RealMenWearPink: He has an interest in sewing and costume design, even tailoring his own clothes. Additionally, he takes care of the plushies Toya passes onto the Tenma family, seemingly enjoying their presence around the house.
* TheReliableOne: An odd example due to being the loud and energetic face and leader of the group, but one of Tsukasa's most defining traits is how reliable and responsible he is. This is to the point where even characters who don't have many positive things to say about him due to his personality will still agree about this aspect of him.
* SignatureLaugh: His hearty "HA HA HA HA!" laugh, which Emu later adopts.
* SmallNameBigEgo: Constantly boasts about how great he thinks he is. He's seen as weird and annoying by most of the cast because of this.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: ''Kamiyama High Festival!'' reveals that Tsukasa telling Toya that he is allowed to do what he likes and not do what he doesn't want led to Toya deciding to abandon classical music and eventually finding interest in street-style music, meeting Akito in the process. Had Tsukasa not said that to Toya, it's likely that he never would have met Akito, therefore never leading to their partnership that would eventually lead to the formation of Vivid BAD SQUAD.
* SoullessBedroom: Compared to the other members of his troupe and his sister, Tsukasa's room is incredibly organized and practically pristine with books and clothes neatly put away. There's nothing on his walls and nothing that really show his interests like other character rooms. Only a couple of scattered books on the floor and the red, modern gothic-style chair and table, which stand out against the otherwise basic decor in his room, give any indication otherwise.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: With his sister, Saki. The only notable difference between them is their hair and eye colors, as Tsukasa's hair is a darker shade of blonde with a red gradient and his eyes are orange rather than pink. They're also notably the only pair of siblings in the main cast that look related.
* SuperGullible: He falls for Akito telling him he has a bug on him, Rui's manipulations, and even freaks out when Nene tells him that he might end up with [[BlatantLies a flower growing out of his head]].
* [[WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes Why Did It Have To Be Bugs?]]: Does not like bugs. His scream upon seeing one is something special. According to [[AllThereInTheManual a Q&A]], he's even afraid of butterflies.

Emu is a naive girl with an endless source of cheerfulness. She always immediately acts on any idea that she comes up with, and often drags others around her into her schemes.
----
* TheAce:
** Emu is athletically gifted, regularly pulling stunts like cartwheels and jumping off Phoenix Wonderland's gate with ease, and she was able to keep up with [[TheAce Mafuyu]] in ''Run! Sports Festival! Committee Rush'' event in both three-legged race and relay race; keep in mind that Mafuyu is fast enough that Ichika thinks she's faster than anyone in the school's track and field club. As a testament to this, she was the only character in the game who's stated to be in multiple clubs at the same time.
** ''close game/OFFLINE'' reveals that she's an ace at ''VideoGame/PuyoPuyo'', which she used to play a lot with her brother. She also manages to clear the EXTREME difficulty of what is implied to be ''VideoGame/HatsuneMikuProjectDIVA Arcade'' on her first try in Nene's "I Won't Let the Target Get Away" side story, despite initially being distracted by the music video of Miku dancing in the background, [[GamerChick which surprises and impresses Nene]].
* AnnoyingYoungerSibling: Emu comes across as this to [[spoiler:her second brother Shousuke, who finds her ManicPixieDreamGirl personality annoying and thinks that [[SillyRabbitIdealismIsForKids she should grow up and face reality]], rather than stay stuck in her dreams and try to keep an impossible promise to their dead grandfather.]]
* TheBabyOfTheBunch: Is this to her siblings in the Otori family, being the youngest.
* BadImpressionists: In Akito's "Happy Birthday!!" 2022 side story, she and the rest of Wonderlands x Showtime put on for Akito's birthday called "Lord of Vivid BAD SQUAD" which details the events of Toya and Akito's first meeting, down to the formation of Vivid BAD SQUAD (as described by Toya). Emu plays the role of Kohane, and while the players only get a glimpse of her portrayal, her rendition of Kohane is just her usual GenkiGirl self with an adjusted speech pattern.
* BadLiar: She tends to panic and excessively stammer when she has to lie about something.
* BigEater: Has a hearty appetite. Perhaps justified, given the amount of energy she's constantly using.
* BornLucky: In contrast to Honami, she pulls nothing but excellent luck fortunes when visiting the shrine for New Years'.
* BuffySpeak: Tends to describe things as a string of [[SayingSoundEffectsOutLoud sound effects]] rather than using actual words.
* CatchPhrase: "Wonderhoy!"
* CheeryPink: Pink is her character color and she has a bright, optimistic personality.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: She seems to operate on a different wavelength to everyone else, with [[MirrorCharacter Miku]] and [[SuddenlyFluentInGibberish Rui]] being the only ones who are easily able to understand her BuffySpeak.
* CommonalityConnection: She's close with Miku, and to a lesser extent Rin, due to them having [[FunPersonified very]] [[GenkiGirl similar]] [[KiddieKid personalities]] to her, and she often hangs out with them outside of practice in the SEKAI.
* CoolBigSis: According to KAITO, she's become one to Miku. Emu is delighted by this, and proclaims she'll work hard to become a CoolBigSis to [[BigBrotherMentor KAITO]], too.
* CordonBleughChef: In ''Secret ♡ Operation Valentine's Day'', she recounts a story where her attempt at making chocolates with her sister failed because she added a bunch of ingredients that she thought tasted good, without consideration for whether they work ''together''. Without Airi's guidance, she would have made the same mistake again, thinking that steamed buns were an appropriate ingredient for a cake.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: Emu has pink hair and matching pink eyes.
* CuteButCacophonic: She's as cute as a button, but has a loud, somewhat shrill voice, particularly when she's excited... which is most of the time.
* {{Deuteragonist}}: Possibly the second most important character in the group after Tsukasa himself owing to how important her family's theme park Pheonix Wonderland is to her's and Wonderlands x Showtimes story overall.
* DoesNotLikeSpam: Averted. She's the only character in the cast that explicitly doesn't dislike any food.
* EnergeticAndSoftSpokenDuo: The energetic girl to Nene's soft-spoken. She has boundless amounts of enthusiasm and loves talking to people, while Nene is an introverted GamerChick who tends to be reserved when interacting with new folk and acquaintances like Toya.
* {{Expy}}: Of Kokoro from ''[[VideoGame/BangDreamGirlsBandParty BanG Dream!]]'''s Hello, Happy World. Both are SpoiledSweet NonIdleRich kids from absurdly wealthy families that are [[GenkiGirl cheerful]], FunPersonified, [[DitzyGenius intelligent despite their silliness]], [[KiddieKid quite childish for their ages]]. Even their character designs and default casual outfits resemble each other despite the different color schemes. In fact, there are more similarities between the two characters than there are differences.
* ExtremeOmnivore: According to her official character profile, one of her talents is finding that everything tastes good.
* Fiction500: The Otori family is very rich, not only owning Phoenix Wonderland, the amusement park that Wonderlands X Showtime performs at, but owning ''many'' other companies in the city, as explained by Emu herself in ''Smile of a Dreamer''.
* FirstNameBasis: Refers to everyone she meets by their first name with added honorifics. The exception to this is Mafuyu, whom she refers to as Asahina-senpai.
* FunPersonified: Always trying to make things more fun for everyone, such as in ''Run! Sports Festival! Committee Rush'', where she insists on livening up the sports festival so that everyone could enjoy it, even though most of the committee was resigned to putting as little effort into it as possible.
* GeniusDitz: Surprisingly able to read people very well. She was able to tell that Honami was lying to her about not being upset and ended up being able to cheer her up in a card's side story.
** In the ''Run! Sports Festival! Committee Rush'' event, Emu is ''absolutely terrified'' the moment the air changes around [[spoiler:Mafuyu]], being the only character in the entire game who isn't fooled by her facade [[spoiler:aside from the inhabitants of her SEKAI and the rest of N25 who only know because Mafuyu dropped the facade around them.]]
--->'''Emu:''' Wh-What is this?! She's smiling, but it doesn't feel like she's smiling... Sh-she's really scary!!!
* GenkiGirl: Possibly the most cheerful character in the whole cast.
* TheHeart: Her positivity, kindness, and desire to make everyone smile serve as one of the cornerstones of Wonderlands X Showtime.
* KiddieKid: All happiness and innocence, her whimsicality makes her seem more like a young child than a high schooler. Even her bedroom reflects this aspect of her personality, as it looks more like a kindergarten playroom than a proper place for sleeping.
* LikeADuckTakesToWater: Despite first entering SEKAI not long after Tsukasa's initial visit, Emu adapts disturbingly quickly to her new surroundings.
* ManicPixieDreamGirl: Essentially this to the other members of Wonderlands X Showtime. [[spoiler:However, this was eventually deconstructed in ''Smile of a Dreamer'', where it's explained that most of this comes from Emu wanting to keep the promise, dream, and memory of her deceased grandfather alive, and comes at odds with her brothers over it regarding the amusement park's future. Fear of dampening the mood when Wonderlands x Showtime is preparing for the stage act competition leads her to become hesitant to speak to the troupe about it.]]
* NoIndoorVoice: Usually yelling excitedly.
* NonIdleRich: She comes from an extremely wealthy family who owns Phoenix Wonderland among other franchises, but she performs as one of the theme park's cast [[spoiler:and becomes an advertising ambassador as of ''Wonder Magical Showtime!'']] to continue her grandfather's legacy and spread smiles.
* NoSenseOfPersonalSpace: Not above tackling people to keep them from leaving, and happily messes with Tsukasa's phone, despite his objections.
* OddFriendship:
** She becomes increasingly close to Nene over time, despite her being reserved and somewhat reluctant to do anything too risky, in contrast to Emu being FunPersonified.
** She also has one with Mafuyu, of all characters. They even end up in the same unit in the alternate universe shown in the AprilFoolsDay 2022 event.
* {{Ojou}}: She doesn't have the personality, but she is one - her father owns the Phoenix Wonderland amusement park chain. [[spoiler:Or rather, her deceased grandfather did, with her family keeping the tradition of running the amusement park and other businesses that they own]].
* ThePollyanna: Emu is very upbeat, and cheerful, and always tries to look for the positive when facing failures, leading some of her classmates to wonder whether she can even get upset. [[spoiler:She can.]]
* RedOniBlueOni: Emu's the hyperactive and optimistic Red Oni to Nene's calm and cynical Blue.
* RoseHairedSweetie: She has bright pink hair and is one of the most unambiguously kind and positive characters in the cast.
* SadClown: Almost perpetually cheerful and energetic, but has more going on than she lets on, which comes to a head in ''Smile of A Dreamer'' and ''Wonder Magical Showtime!''.
* SayingSoundEffectsOutLoud: To the point of practically developing her own language based on it. Rui was able to devise a complex drone routine from Emu's "Falaa-Falaa!", while Kohane managed to help her navigate a watermelon splitting competition (albeit to the wrong melon) by yelling "Go spin, da-da-daaasshh, and baaam!"
--> '''Emu:''' If we went from there, it should've been 'spin-spin, thump-thump-thump, and bam!'
* {{Sentai}}: In the alternate version of Shibuya introduced in the AprilFoolsDay 2022 event, she founded the after-school group Happiness Squadron Sunny-Sunny☆Wonder! which is themed after Sentai and was formed with the goal of making children smile. In this group, she works alongside Mafuyu, who acts as the group's leader due to being a second-year student, Kohane, who was invited to the group by her, and Haruka, who joined because she liked the concept. Her ranger name is "Sunny-Sunny Happy Emu".
* ScreenName: Uses the name "Piko Piko Wonderhoy" when playing arcade games as a team with Nene as of ''close game/OFFLINE''.
* SiblingYinYang: Her brothers are serious and make decisions from a business-oriented perspective, whereas Emu is childish, hyperactive, and very much wants to [[spoiler:preserve the ideals of their late grandfather who originally built Phoenix Wonderland.]]
* SlidingScaleOfIdealismVsCynicism: InUniverse, Emu's (and later, Wondershow's) conflict with [[spoiler:her brothers boil down to this in regards to how they want to keep the amusement park, and their grandfather's legacy, alive. Emu is the idealist who believes in and follows her grandfather's ideals and wants to keep his memory, along with the sentimental memories visitors have with the amusement park, alive. Her brothers, Keisuke and Shousuke, meanwhile, are the cynics who believe that keeping their promise with their dead grandfather is impossible and that they have to adapt to what people want in the present if they're to keep the amusement park running in any form, even if they have to change the amusement park's main demographic to do so. Hinata, Emu's sister, is somewhere in the middle; while she believes that it's important to keep their grandfather's hopes and dreams alive, she is also aware that some sacrifices have to be made to keep the theme park running.]]
* SmarterThanYouLook: Despite her whimsical personality, she got the third highest score on a test. Unfortunately, since it was AprilFoolsDay, [[CassandraTruth nobody believed her]] when she tried to tell them about it.
* SpoiledSweet: She comes from a privileged background and, while she can be a little headstrong, she wants nothing more than to make others happy.
* SpotlightStealingSquad: "Wonder Magical Showtime" serves as a continuation of her story despite Tsukasa being the character on the banner.
* SuperSenses: The fact that she has an almost unnaturally good sense of sight and hearing has been brought up multiple times.
* TaremeEyes: In contrast with Nene's TsurimeEyes, reflecting her bubbly and outgoing personality.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Taiyaki.
* UsedToBeASweetKid: An [[ImpliedTrope implied]] and [[InvertedTrope inverted]] example. In ''Wonder Magical Showtime!'', [[spoiler:the show is heavily implied to be based on Emu and her grandfather, and if Shao was an accurate portrayal of little Emu, then as a child she was far from being the sweet and happy girl that she is in the present before her grandfather managed to change her]].
* WideEyedIdealist: She holds fast onto her grandfather's ideals about making others happy. This is the [[spoiler:source of conflict between her and her two older brothers regarding the future of Phoenix Wonderland.]]

Nene is a foul-mouthed girl who dreams of singing onstage for a musical. Her singing ability is too good to be that of a high school girl. Without having to appear on stage, she operates a robot as a stand-in for herself.
----
* TheAce: Adept at various video games, especially shooting games.
* BadImpressionists: Averted. In Akito's "Happy Birthday!!" 2022 side story, the members of Wonderlands x Showtime put on a show for Akito's birthday called "Lord of Vivid BAD SQUAD", in which she's assigned the role of An Shiraishi. However, she's the only member of the group whose portrayal isn't shown onscreen, as she's too nervous to play the role properly.
* BeautifulSingingVoice: Described as having a beautiful singing voice that doesn't sound like it comes from a high schooler.
* BigDamnHeroes: In ''What's on Your Mind? Exciting Picnic!'', after being background characters for the majority of the event, she and Rui save the day after Mizuki recruits them to help rescue Ena and Airi from the slope they fell down in chapter 6.
* ChildhoodFriend: She and Rui became neighbors as kids, and they grew close to one another after watching a play together.
* CloudcuckoolandersMinder: Being the most grounded member of Wonderlands x Showtime, she reluctantly looks after her teammates, though mostly Emu and Rui.
* TheCynic: She has a tendency to throw a wet blanket on the things the other members of her group find fun and exciting, at times overstepping her OnlySaneMan role into being this trope.
* CommonalityConnection:
** While they were already acquainted on account of being in the same class at the time, she became closer with Toya as of ''close game/OFFLINE'' due to their shared interest in arcade games, which they found out about each other after participating in an arcade tournament. Nene even begins to think of him as a "game friend".
** Finds one in their SEKAI's KAITO due to them both being the OnlySaneMan of their respective groups. This is reflected in their Trust Ranks, which continuously refer to them as the calm and reasonable ones.
** In the 2022 AprilFoolsDay events alternate version of Shibuya, she joins the group Fellow Hobbyists on Days Off. which was founded by Mizuki with the intention of hobbyists coming together to discuss and share their interests with like-minded individuals. The other members of this group are Minori and Honami.
* DeadpanSnarker: Has a very sharp tongue. However, due to extreme shyness around strangers, she only lets this show around people she is comfortable with.
* FunnyBackgroundEvent: What her role in the event ''What's on Your Mind? Exciting Picnic!'' amounts to until chapter 7. She shows up with Rui toward the end of nearly every chapter except chapter 6, where they show up in the middle, and never directly interacts with Ena, Airi, Shizuku, and Mizuki's group until Mizuki coincidentally runs into them at the end of chapter 6 when searching for help after Airi and Ena fall to the bottom of a slope.
* GamerChick: Nene is quite an avid gamer, and spends most of her time outside of the shows playing games. She prefers playing on consoles to arcades, for [[ShrinkingViolet obvious reasons]].
* GeekPhysique: While not as bad as Kanade, compared to the other members of the troupe Nene has this. It usually doesn't matter because as the diva of the stage, she's usually not given a physically-demanding role (which is taken by Tsukasa and Emu most of the time), but she gets more easily tired from holding multiple shows. From ''What's on Your Mind? Exciting Picnic!'' event, she tries to remedy this by going on a training trip with Rui.
* TheKilljoy: She at times comes off as one due to her OnlySaneMan role and exasperation at the energy of her teammates. This is played up in ''A Desperate Situation!? Island Panic!'' which has the group stranded on an island and trying to make the best out of their situation, while she spends a lot of the event worried about the dangers they'll face if they aren't careful. The lesson she ends up learning is to enjoy the experience with everyone even if it's frightening.
* HugeGuyTinyGirl: She's one of the shorter characters, and is close childhood friends with Rui, who is the tallest character in the main cast.
* TheMentor: To Ichika after the event ''Musical Twilight Parade'', mentoring her in how to sing better and more confidently.
* MythicalMotifs: Mermaids. Her second unit event was mermaid-themed, and "Mermaid Princess" shows up as a title for her in her Trust Ranks with Wonderlands x Showtime.
* OddFriendship:
** She becomes increasingly close to Emu over time, despite her being loud and hyperactive in contrast to Nene being shy and withdrawn.
** Out of the Virtual Singers, she's closest to Rin, whose personality is much closer to Emu's than her own.
* OnlySaneMan: Her role in the group. She's fairly down-to-earth compared to the rest of her troupe to the point of being too serious at times.
* PerformanceAnxiety: [[spoiler:In Wonderlands x Showtime's unit story, she reveals to Tsukasa and Emu that she always wanted to act in musicals and plays, and once even got a lead part in one, only to make the whole thing flop when she was too stricken with stage fright to say her lines. Her guilt over seemingly ruining the performance made her ask Rui to create Robo-Nene to act as her stand-in so she wouldn't have to go through a similar incident. However, Tsukasa and Emu encourage her to try going on stage as herself again.]]
* PhoneaholicTeenager: DownplayedTrope, as her attachment to her phone is simply an extension of her GamerChick characterization, however in her "Thank-You Gifts for Playing Together" side story, she's considerably more freaked out over her phone being damaged than the other characters, as she believed that her contact information, phone game data, and music data other than Untitled will have been lost with it if it can't be repaired.
* RedOniBlueOni: The calm and cynical Blue Oni to Emu's hyperactive and optimistic Red.
* RhetoricalRequestBlunder: [[spoiler:In ''Smile of a Dreamer'', Nene wanted to tell Emu that she would be more than willing to help her with her troubles, but didn't know how to tell her. Upon overhearing this, Robo-Nene, having recently been programmed to relay messages on top of its other functions, did just that and relayed Nene's words to Emu.]]
* ScreenName: Uses the name "Pomero" when playing arcade games. Nene keeps the story behind the screen name a secret due to finding it "embarrassing". As a team with Emu, she uses the screen name "Piko Piko Wonderhoy".
* ShrinkingViolet: She's extremely shy and has trouble speaking to people she doesn't know. She also gets nervous on stage, which is why she asked Rui to build Robo-Nene to act as her stand-in.
* SurroundedByIdiots: Being surrounded by especially eccentric personalities, she often feels this way.
-->'''Nene:''' Why is everyone a weirdo around here?
* TsurimeEyes: In contrast with Emu's TaremeEyes, reflecting her more serious and reserved personality.
* [[WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes Why Did It Have to Be Bugs?]]: She hates bugs almost as much as Tsukasa does.
* VocalEvolution: Her voice actor begins to use a more distinct style of singing for her character in more recent covers and group songs.

Rui is a genius who lives life at his own pace. In addition to managing stage performances, he takes full advantage of his tinkering and invention skills to create robots to use for his shows. Many people around him treat him as a weirdo.
----
* AllTheOtherReindeer: ''Kamiyama High Festival!'' reveals that [[spoiler:Rui was treated like an outcast by his peers, simply because they couldn't handle his antics. Even in elementary school, Rui was shunned by former friends and classmates alike due to finding some of his ideas and creations "insane".]]
* BadImpressionists: Averted. In Akito's "Happy Birthday!!" 2022 side story, he and the rest of Wonderlands x Showtime put on for Akito's birthday called "Lord of Vivid BAD SQUAD" which details the events of Toya and Akito's first meeting, down to the formation of Vivid BAD SQUAD (as described by Toya). Rui plays the role of Toya, and while the players only get a glimpse of his portrayal, he's the only person that changes his mannerisms to match the person he's playing.
* BigDamnHeroes: In ''What's On Your Mind? Exciting Picnic!'', after being background characters for the majority of the event, he and Nene save the day after Mizuki recruits them to help rescue Ena and Airi from the slope they fell down in chapter 6.
* BoyBand: In the alternate version of Shibuya introduced in the AprilFoolsDay 2022 event, he teams up with BAD DOGS' Akito and Toya, as well as Tsukasa to form the "backstreet entertainer" group FANTASISTA SQUAD, which combined elements of street singing and stage play production into their performances.
* CatSmile: Usually has a shifty, cat-like smile on his face.
* CharacterDevelopment: Starts out as an outcast who had previously been pushed into depression and felt like he couldn't understand anyone, but by the ''A Once In-A-Lifetime Pandemonium!?'' event, has begun to make friends outside of his unit, and is able to actually enjoy himself and let himself be happy.
* ChildhoodFriend: He and Nene became neighbors as kids, and they grew close to one another after watching a play together.
* ChildProdigy: He's been a GadgeteerGenius since he was a small child.
* CommonalityConnection:
** [[spoiler:With N25's Mizuki, as fellow "outcasts" at their old middle school.]]
** He becomes increasingly close to Len after the latter develops a passionate interest in robotics and starts to learn how to build simple devices from him, despite otherwise having [[OddFriendship very different personalities.]]
* CrocodileTears: Often pulls this trope on Tsukasa. The most iconic example being in ''Smile of a Dreamer'', after being suspected of playing with the stuffed animals in the SEKAI in order to win their favor, Rui acts offended, and adds in an upset 'Yoyoyo' that was [[ThrowItIn definitely not in the script]].
* CuriousAsAMonkey: He likes to figure out how things work by taking them apart.
* DoesNotLikeSpam: Hates fruits and vegetables.
* EveryoneHasStandards: As much as Rui loves to be experimental in... just about everything he does, he ''will'' respect it when clear boundaries are in place.
** An area conversation on Main Street has him talking about where he sets up his "guerilla shows". He points out a specific building as private property, and makes it clear that he stays ''off'' their property when he's performing (going so far as to highlight a specific tile on the street that marks the edge of his "stage").
** During "The Climax! Kamiyama Cheer Squad", An and Mizuki ask him for help with the cheer squad's performance. Since his class already chose their cheer squad members, Rui is reluctant to agree until An confirms that outside help has precedence and has been greenlit.
* ForScience: He gets very excited about experimenting with new techniques to see how far he can go.
* FunnyBackgroundEvent: What his role in the event ''What's On Your Mind? Exciting Picnic!'' amounts to until chapter 7. He shows up with Nene toward the end of nearly every chapter except chapter 6, where they show up in the middle, and never directly interacts with Ena, Airi, Shizuku, and Mizuki's group until Mizuki coincidentally runs into them at the end of chapter 6 when searching for help after Airi and Ena fall to the bottom of a slope.
* GadgeteerGenius: He likes to tinker with and create robots and drones for his shows.
* GenerationXerox: He's into robotic engineering, just like his father. His mother was also seen as an eccentric outcast due to her passion for biology when she was a child, much like Rui for his passion for robotics and intense stage directing.
* GeniusSweetTooth: He's a GadgeteerGenius who uses Ramune candy for energy boosts when he pulls all-nighters.
* HiddenDepths:
** Despite being a GadgeteerGenius, Rui is much stronger and fit than he looks, easily bringing all of his equipment and supplies on a hike in ''What's on Your Mind? Exciting Picnic!'' event, in contrast with Nene who's struggling with hers.
** Despite his lackadaisical and quirky nature, he is fairly observant when it comes to it. [[spoiler:In ''At This Festival Tinged with Twilight'', he was able to pick up on a glimpse of Mafuyu's issues and point out some things about her like how she is DesperatelyLookingForAPurposeInLife and gave some advice to her about it.]]
* HugeGuyTinyGirl: He's one of the tallest characters, and is close childhood friends with Nene, one of the shorter characters.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: Doubles as IJustWantToBeNormal. He doesn't show it directly, but he frequently ponders about how he is different from others and seems to be hurt about his past memories where he is called weird and shunned from his peers. In 2022 birthday card story, he says he wished for an ordinary birthday party with friends just like anyone else (cue on "ordinary"), and becomes genuinely surprised and glad when he receives it with help of fellow unit members.
* IntelligenceEqualsIsolation: When he was younger, before getting acquainted with Tsukasa and Emu, [[spoiler:Rui's intelligence made him want to try different things that seemed fun to him, the people around him thought his ideas were "insane" and shunned him as a result. This becomes a point of contention in ''[[Recap/HatsuneMikuColorfulStageFullPowerWonderHalloween It's On! Wonder Halloween!]]'', as Rui internally fears getting the same reaction from Tsukasa and Emu, thus holding back from his usual ideas and antics for a good while.]]
* ManipulativeBastard: Willing to manipulate people in order to steer situations towards his desired outcome, as shown in the ''An Ode for the Pure of Heart'' event. Akito immediately picks up on this when Rui tries to use ReversePsychology on him in order to convince him to help out.
* NotWhatItLooksLike: When Nene catches Rui handing KAITO a medicine bottle, Nene panics and asks Rui what he's giving him, seemingly assuming its drugs. Rui assures Nene that it's just Ramune in a pill bottle so that the other VIRTUAL SINGERS won't try to take it from him.
* ObliviousToHatred: While seemingly less disliked compared to Tsukasa, especially after the event story ''At This Festival Colored by Twilight'' where he and Akito seemingly come to an understanding, he's more or less oblivious to the fact that Akito is annoyed by him and thinks he's a weirdo.
* PickyEater: He hates vegetables and anything that has a vegetable-esque texture, such as watermelons.
* PurpleProse: Tends to speak lengthy idioms.
* SignatureLaugh: "Fufufu", or "Hehehe" in the global version.
* SmugSmiler: Usually smiling with a smugly calm air about him.
* SuddenlyFluentInGibberish: Instantly picks up on Emu and Miku's [[SayingSoundEffectsOutLoud sound effect-based speech]], while everyone else struggles to make sense of it.
* TeenGenius: He built Robo-Nene, among many other robots and drones.
* TheUnsmile: [[spoiler:''In A Sorrowful Farewell at the Curtain Call'', [[https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/blowing_in_the_evening_breeze.jpg Rui makes this expression]] when "accepting" Asahi's request to join him as a director at [=ArcLand=]. This was enough to make Asahi reconsider, as he realized that Rui cares too much for Wonderlands x Showtime and the bond he's formed with them to convince him to leave them in good spirits.]]
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Ramune candy.
* TheTrickster: Defies rules and conventions and promotes chaos, all for the sake of creating "the best shows" to make people smile.
