** His Seal weapon effectively allows him to poison a ''god'' in the form of the Otherworld Dragon, proving vital to its downfall.]]

* CreatingLife: Created all of the primarchs and fallen angels shown in the "What Makes The Sky Blue" storyline with the exception of Sandalphon, who was created by Lucifer under his order. It's currently unknown if he created Kokabiel, a fallen angel that was only revealed in Cerberus' 5* fate episodes.

* UniqueEnemy: Even though Medb has a customized appearance and unique attacks, she only appears on Scathacha's final Fate Episode and haven't had easily accessible battles such as event raids.

* BreakoutVillain: While not nearly on the same level as Sandalphon and Belial, he's become this following his resurrection in "What Makes The Sky Blue: 000", with him being [[TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers the only evil Lucifer-lookalike in the Granblue universe]], his deep voice, and his general badassery, especially in his raid, definitely helping him gain this status. It also helps that he is the object of Belial's affection, and is the second half of a villanous relationship foil with Belial that contrasts Lucifer and Sandalphons more pure relationship.

* SealedEvilInACan: [[spoiler: Becomes this at the end of ''What Makes The Sky Blue III: 000", being trapped in a void alongside Belial. He gets let out in ''Versus Rising'', only to be sealed again, this time with al jailer to keep him there.]]

* MechanicallyUnusualFighter: As a playable character in ''Versus Rising'', Lucilius is the only character who does not utilize Plus Skills. All of his Skills have extremely long cooldowns by default, but this is mitigated by a special "Blade Meter" that increases whenever he lands a Skill or uses his Unique Attack, Orbital Resonance. When the Blade Meter is maxed, Lucilius's cooldowns become very fast, allowing him to aand devastating combos and giving him absurd space control.

** He kills Lucifer by stabbing him in the back. When Lucilius wakes up in Lucifer's body, the first thing he does is repay the favor by stabbing Beelzebub in the back.

* BackFromTheDead: [[spoiler:Though he was decapitated by Lucifer, Belial's retrieval of his head and Lucifer's body allows him to be fully revived by the third "What Makes the Sky Blue" event.]]

* PocketDimension: [[spoiler: His new plan in ''Versus Rising'' is to lure the Singularities into one of these, a realm called "Point Zero" which he created himself using chaos energy where the laws of causality do not apply, allowing him a chance to kill hsi enemies and finally achieve his goal of the world's destruction.]]

* ATwinkleInTheSky: In ''Versus'', his super skybound art turns the opponent into a twinkle in the sky that promptly [[SlapOnTheWristNuke explodes into a blazing star]].

* CombatSadomasochist: It's clearly evident from his combat dialogue in [[Videogame/GranblueFantasyVersus Versus]] that Belial enjoys getting hurt just as much as he enjoys hurting others.

* ConfusionFu: A large part of his fighting style in ''Versus''. Many of his moves have delayed startup or ambiguous animations that make it difficult for his opponent to tell exactly what he's going do.

* DidNotSeeThatComing: Belial got a little ''too'' ahead of himself during chapter 50 of ''Versus''. [[spoiler: Everything was going according to plan with the exception of one thing, ''Beelzebub'', who was enraged at the fact that Belial survived and at the Captain for defeating him, if Belial had played his cards correctly then he and Bubs would have double teamed the crew and probably defeated them. However Belial, being [[{{Troll}} Belial]] chose immediate self-gratification and started taunting the Astral-Primarch hybrid, causing the would be king of the skies to do something that Belial truly wasn't expecting: Team up with the crew, which led to his defeat and Lucilius' awakening too early, with the latter forcing Belial to the rift between dimensions to fully awake him.]]

* KickThemWhileTheyAreDown: In [[Videogame/GranblueFantasyVersus Versus]], if he finishes an opponent with Anagenesis, the next cutscene shows Belial (from the victim's point of view) stomp on their head to humiliate them further.

* {{Troll}}: In ''Versus'', his unique move is walking towards the opponent with his arms spread out to mock them. If anything but a throw hits him in this state, he dodges the attack and stomps on the opponent's head.

* ArchEnemy: ''Versus'' establish them as the Captain's, in comparison to the rivalry between Belial and Sandalphon or [[spoiler: Lucilius]] and Lucifer. [[spoiler: Unlike the others though Beelzebub is smart enough to make a RivalsTeamUp situation with the Captain to get rid of Belial in said game.]]

* BarrierWarrior: His ''[[Literature/TheFly Langelaan]] Field'' move can create a magical barrier to protect himself in ''Versus''. In RPG Mode, it significantly rises his defense and can only be broken by a [[ChargeAttack Skybound Art]]. [[spoiler:He has this ability because his original self, Helel ben Shalem can also do the same with her Invisible Touch skill.]]

* EnemyMine: The one time Beelzebub managed to get one over Belial since both were introduced [[spoiler: was when he teamed up with the Crew to defeat him in ''Versus'', destroying the Versus core in the process and forcing Belial to retreat by order of Lucilius.]]

* InstantCostumeChange: He can magically unhood/hood himself before/after battles in ''Versus''.

* PromotedToPlayable: ''Versus'' marks the first time he's playable as the game's first DLC character.

* SpectacularSpinning: His moveset in ''Versus'' has plenty of spinning moves. Even the projectiles he uses spin around.

* VillainSong: ''Versus'' gave him [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1hcOok_BX8 Existence]] as his theme. [[spoiler:It talks about his jealousy of Lucilius, and his desire to triumph over him to become the king of all existence.]]
