* AdaptationPersonalityChange: He's more chatty and uses his "ttt" less often. While still arrogant, he's more empathetic to the thoughts of others and even defends Maps in class. His threats and insults have a lot less bite to them too, being no worse than "Don't make me hurt you." rather than, "I'll kill you."

* VerbalTic: Retains his well known "ttt" (speculated to be the sound of clicking his tongue) from the original comics.

* SimpleStaff: Brings a Bo Staff to school.

* Sixth Ranger: Becomes one for the group eventually, helping them out on occasion. It's especially noticeable in that [[spoiler: she eventually sticks everywhere Maps goes, as Katherine uses a part of herself to become Maps's HairDecoration flower. This leads to Katherine saving Pomeline and Colton from Professor Scarlet, as Maps had given them her things just in case.]]

* CoolShades: Wears them everywhere.

* AdultsAreUseless: One of the only teachers to avert this thus far. She's the only one of Olive's teachers to notice her issues and actually try to counsel her compared to the rest of the apathetic faculty. Her knowledge of Gotham's history and the mythology that surrounded it proved helpful in Damian and Maps' investigation. She's also aware of Tristan's condition and keeps it a secret while helping Langstrom treat him.
* BigFriendlyDog: Has one named Ham who appears to be a German Shepherd.

* RandomSmokingScene: Seen smoking without any prior hints to her habit (granted she's a teacher) on the athletics field, where Olive is coincidentally watching Kyle and moping.

* ShonenHair: [[FinalFantasyVII Cloud level spiky.]]

* ShadowArchetype: In many ways, she is like Olive with positive traits removed and negative ones maxed out.

* HeroicAlbino: Pushing it with the Heroic part and her brown skin, but otherwise fits the bill.

* LargeHam: When in acting mode, he surprises Olive by reciting the lines of the first apparition from {{Macbeth}}.

** We later learn this is because Olive never knew her father [[spoiler: Calamity killed him, presumably while Olive was too young to remember him.]]

* CuteWitch: More of a Wannabe, but she has extensive knowledge of all things occult. Like a budding ComicBook/JohnConstantine.

* In the Annual, Pom pretty much calls him out for having a crush on Kyle, made all the more evident when he proceeds to insist Kyle help him catch a campus poisoner. While they're on the case, [[ObliviousToLove Kyle nearly figures out what Pom meant]] before being distracted by a clue.
