* OddNameOut: Downplayed. His name does fit into the RockThemeNaming of his kingdom, but it somewhat stands out that it's an ''anagram'' for a gemstone when the other Brodians' name is either derived from or right after one.

* ApologizesALot: And we do mean a LOT. His Bond conversation with Edelgard ends up reminding her of Bernadetta.

* InnocentlyInsensitive: In his support with Seadall he is initially confused as to why the latter would be forced to live on the streets after his parents' death.

* OvershadowedByAwesome: Lapis' subpar bases and the game's questionable decision to use her to tutorialize smash weapons--a weapon type she is very ill-suited for on account of her FragileSpeedster nature--as well to have her personal skill lower her chance to crit in favour of hitting and evading, lead many players to overlook her, compounded by characters with significantly higher bases and similar roles like Diamant and Kagetsu joining shortly afterwards. She ''can'' perform as well as anyone if given proper attention, particularly in roles that suit her growths (like swordmaster and griffin knight) or make up for what she lacks (wyvern knight patching up her strength growth and giving her a higher power weapon type in lances).

* {{Irony}}: Amber ''loves'' alpacas and constantly talk about them, yet, for some reason, in a game with marmots and flamingos, the player cannot adopt an alpaca of their own, nor is there one to actually be seen in the entire game. The closest thing we get is that Amber is represented with an alpaca symbol on his page in the Ally Notebook.

* RiddleForTheAges: Just how on Elyos is Citrinne so impossibly rich to begin with?

* RecurringElement: As mentioned above, Alcryst practically worships his older brother, not unlike past sibling worshippers like [[VideoGame/FireEmblemGenealogyOfTheHolyWar Lachesis]] and [[VideoGame/FireEmblemTheBlazingBlade Priscilla]].

* SuperStrength: [[InformedAttribute Although this doesn't]] [[GameplayAndStorySegregation apply to gameplay]], Lapis is said to be incredibly strong physically.

* CompositeCharacter: He appears to be loosely based off Takumi of ''VideoGame/FireEmblemFates'', as a second son archer prince with notable inferiority issues, admiration for his noble sword-wielding older brother, a dour outlook on life, and initial hate towards a country sharing similarities with Nohr as a result of losing a parent to their machinations while carrying the timid and self-loathing personality traits of Bernadetta and Marianne from ''VideoGame/FireEmblemThreeHouses''.

* DemotedToExtra: Alcryst falls off of the main plot shortly after [[spoiler:you lose the first six Emblem Rings to Sombron and Veyle , and escape from the Destinea Cathedral to Solm alongside getting Emblems Lyn and Lucina from Ivy]]. Therefore, he effectively loses his plot armor and can no longer contribute dialogue in cutscenes.

* PerpetualFrowner: Whether it be inside or outside of battle, Jade always seems to have the exact same stern expression on her face. This is repeatedly lampshaded by the other characters, as they ask Jade if something is wrong, even when she's perfectly fine. [[{{Irony}} Iroic]], considering that she is a comedy writer.

* WateringDown: She likes to dilute her milk as she was raised believing that its bad for you to drink it whole. In a support with Boucheron, she says it should be one part milk to ten parts water. He is weirded out by her preference, while she is in disbelief that other people don't dilute it, and it catches Dimitri off guard in one of their Bond conversations.

** Citrinne is stated to be the party member who owns the most land in Brodia. Consider that the party includes Diamant, the crown prince and later ''ruler'' of Brodia, says a lot about how rich Citrinne actually is.

* NonIdleRich: Despite being rich to the point that she owns more land in Brodia than even Diamant, who's part of Brodia's noble direct family, and that she considers private islands reasonable gifts to give, she still works as retainer, and actively works for Brodia's wellbeing. [[spoiler: Most notably shown in the Yunaka support; where she digs up Yunaka's past on her own, which no other character manages to do.]]

* YoungerThanTheyLook: Maybe. She looks like a middle-aged woman, perhaps in her 50s, and has been a warrior for at least a couple of decades...but if datamining is to be believed, she's only 35.
