One of the three most powerful dark guilds that make up the Balam Alliance, which unites the dark guilds. Though it is one of the smallest guilds in Fiore, comprised of only six members, it wholly lives up to its purported strength, forcing Fairy Tail to team up with three other official guilds just to fight it. This guild seeks Nirvana, an ancient magic that switches the morality of those affected by its power, in order to drown the world in chaos. After being released from prison seven years later, most of the guild's members leave to join Jellal's vigilante guild, Crime Sorcière.

* AssholeVictim: Absolutely ''no one'' cares about him once Cobra exacts his revenge and reveals [[UnwittingPawn what he really thought of them]] once the initial shock wears off, with Racer basically shrugging it off by asking what everyone plans to do now, while Midnight (the closest to him of all) only takes a moment to state they'll be moving on without him.

* ScaledUp: In the Nirvana and Key of the Starry Heavens arcs, Cobra's arms are covered in draconic scales when he activates his Poison Dragon Slayer powers. This feature is dropped from the Grand Magic Games arc onward.

* EvilAlbino: Zero certainly fits the bill with his pale skin, silver hair, blood-red eyes, and an insatiable lust for destruction and mayhem.
