* AchillesHeel: Her Koa'ki Meiru deck: Even though it plenty of her monsters are very strong stat-wise and have powerful effects, all of them requite the discard of the Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru Spell or the reveal of another monster with the same Type as theirs in order to sustain themselves otherwise they get destroyed. Same can be said for the archetype's Spells/Traps that are powerful and potent, but need the Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru to even function and are thus useless without it.

And if that wasn't bad enough, the Prologue reveals that his spot in the first game's killing game/story and Class 78 is filled out by Yugi instead thus eliminating any remaining relevancy he would have had left.
* KickedUpstairs: To get him out of the way, the author retconned the numerous times he was held back in school (or at least some of them), thus letting him get into Hope's Peak a few years earlier than anyone relevant to the story.
