Theobald Gumbar, however, knows Only in Candia do they accept that she was a powerful spellcaster.

** Then again, [[spoiler: given her ultimate goal is to overthrow the church and destroy its role in politics and she doesn’t care about the throne, it may be less that she didn’t think it through and more that she doesn’t care]].

* HufflepuffHouse: The Meatlands are the only major region of Calorum that is not directly involved in the central conflict of the campaign and has no major characters associated with them. By contrast, the protagonists are from Candia, their closest allies are from the Dairy Islands, Vegetania and Ceresia are home to two major villains and their associated armed forces, and Fructera is home to the dying Concordant Emperor, putting it at the center of most of the campaign's political intrigue.

* TookALevelInJerkass: For the first half of the campaign, the Rocks twins are largely just naively irresponsible due to being spoiled princesses and Ruby is the slightly milder half, being not quite as combative or openly impertinent as Jet. That all changes after [[spoiler: Jet's death in Episode 9]], as Ruby's grief immerses her in blind rage at not just the people responsible, but the world in general. As a result, she becomes much colder towards everyone except Amethar and Liam. This is most pronounced in her relationships with Saccharina and Caramelinda: her interactions with the former almost exclusively consist of scorn and hostility even after Saccharina has proven herself an ally (she even exhibits anger towards Liam just for making conversation with Saccharina) and her behavior towards her mother shifts from childish disobedience to lashing out with full intent of emotionally wounding her. The latter of these instances forces Amethar to step in and counsel her to stop pushing away her own family and allies.
