And befitting his nature as a [[ElementalEmbodiment god of Snow]], he's stoic, haughty, and soft-spoken, displaying TranquilFury when angered and being one of the more restrained members of his family. However, it's noted that he's much more similar to his family than he appears, and he does have a witty and more loving side, but generally reserves it for his family and his closest subjects and/or subordinates.

* ArchEnemy: While one of the less overtly villainous and antagonistic Filii Festi members, he nevertheless ended up being opposed by the Glasiert Clan, a family of heroic chefs specializing in ice-cream who would become his chief mortal rivals.

* AwesomeMomentOfCrowning: He became the ruling Prince of the kingdom of Eis when, while participating in Eis' local [[CookingDuel Royal Dessert Grand Tournament]], he created his first ice cream magnum opus, "Frozen Perfection", to [[DueToTheDead honor his late father's memory]]. It was large as a castle and so delicious that he won both the tournament ''and'' the royal crown of Eis, after which the kingdom was absorbed into Queen Eclaira's domain within the Shadowpact Empire. Despite some hiccups, including conflicts with Eis' original royal family, he ruled Eis well until his HorrorHunger took over and he ate everything down to the last inhabitant.
* AwfulTruth: For much of his childhood and adolescence, he was blissfully unaware of his mother's true identity as "[[VainSorceress the Voracious Shadow]]". Then his father was fatally poisoned by a murderous rival. Shortly after his father's death, he met a few older half-siblings, who he was previously unaware of, and learned from them the truth of his mother's identity. This discovery, compounded by his grief over losing his father so early, influenced him to run away out of fear of becoming a ravenous monster himself. Fortunately, with support and therapy, he eventually got over it and embraced his heritage.

* TheAce: In her mortal youth, Schöneitel was one of the most beautiful and magically-talented mares in the Aschenputtel Empire. Princes sought her out to ask for her hoof in marriage, and before they died, her first adoptive parents made her their successor to the throne by virtue of being their strongest child. In the present, Schöneitel is seen as one of the most powerful Filii Festi members due to being a magical prodigy with potential to surpass even Queen Eclaira, her second adoptive mother and a skilled sorceress herself. It's [[BrokenAce deconstructed]] as a psychologically repressive upbringing deeply scarred her and left her with a lot of neuroses that haunted her even in the present day, though thankfully she is receiving help for it.

** The first time, Schöneitel was a daughter of nobles who showed tremendous promise, both in magic and in heroism. It wasn't until she became the central figure of a prophecy foretelling the advent of a great heroine that she attracted the attention of her sub-kingdom's King and Queen, who adopted her as one of their daughters. It led to tragedy for everyone, as the King and Queen's BlackAndWhiteMorality and attempts to groom Schöneitel for a destiny she didn't want caused her to eventually snap and bring doom upon her home instead.
** The second time, Schöneitel was adopted by Queen Eclaira, who at the time was WalkingTheEarth. After learning that Schöneitel was the cause of the increased vanity that drew her to Aschenputtel, Eclaira adopted her as one of her daughters, especially given the circumstances behind it. Despite having to put up with her new family's ravenous hunger, Schöneitel sees Eclaira and her fellow Filii Festi members as a huge improvement compared to her first adoptive family, many who grew complacent to the point of becoming corrupt.

Speedwagon visits her and asks what she wanted to do with her life, appealing to her hidden bitterness and resentment towards her corrupt former Aschenputtel neighbors. While seemingly content with her life as a SolitarySorceress, she ultimately decided otherwise, as she is presently an Alicorn goddess who tested and punished heroes for their failings.

* AtLeastIAdmitIt: Part of Schöneitel's resentment towards the people of Aschenputtel was fueled by how, despite becoming increasingly corrupt, prideful, and decadent, they refused to acknowledge it as they still saw themselves as heroes. While she was becoming arrogant herself due to her spoiled, privileged upbringing, Schöneitel knew deep down what she became and saw her neighbors' actions as moral hypocrisy of the highest order, but hid it well since she would be decired as a villainess if she spoke up. Even when recalling her past, she has nothing but bitterness towards her former subjects.

* BadassCape: As a Queen, she wears furry mantles, which are part of her royal regalia. She's also a talented, formidable goddess who is a master of dark sorcery and a very cunning manipulator, having fooled both heroes and villains alike.

* BeautyEqualsGoodness: Deconstructed. Schöneitel was born beautiful beyond compare, leading to rumors that she was blessed by local Fae. This led to her first adoption, as the ruling couple of the Aschenputtel sub-kingdom she lived in was interested in her potential -- especially after Schöneitel became the central figure of a prophecy concerning the advent of a great heroine. Unfortunately, Aschenputtel's obsession with beauty embittered Schöneitel because of the abuses it created and how it enabled both heroes and damsels to develop corrupt behaviors. Learning that she was ''supposed'' to be a great, beautiful heroine due to a prophecy pushed her feelings to their boiling point until she snapped. One big reason why she chose to Ascend is so she could test other heroes and make sure they don't make the same mistakes as the heroes of Aschenputtel made.
* BeautyIsBad: Schöneitel is an extremely beautiful yet utterly vain Alicorn goddess who embodies concepts related to evil fairytale Queens and witches, including Vanity, Sorcery, and Mirrors. In her mortal youth, she was born so beautiful that people believed she had potential to become one of Ascenputtel's greatest heroines. However, their constant praises and attempts to groom Schöneitel for the role not only inflated her ego, but also deeply embittered her to the ideals of heroism Aschenputtel claimed to follow but lost sight of. But in private, she grew spoiled and haughty due to both her privileged upbringing and her subjects' constant praises; by her admission, one of her favorite hobbies is exposing people's darkest secrets and watching the ensuing chaos. However, Schöneitel [[AtLeastIAdmitIt knew very well what she was becoming]], and her inability to counteract Aschenputtel's growing corruption left her deeply bitter and resentful. Discovering she was [[TheChosenOne part of an important prophecy]] was the last straw, leading to Schöneitel cursing her subjects into corrupted, twisted versions of themselves in a fit of rage on her coronation day as Queen. Presently, Schöneitel is capable of acting like the damsel she once was, but she hates doing so because her old life left a very bad taste in her mouth.
* CainAndAbel: She's the "Cain" to the Aschenputtel Trio's "Abel". While they were all adopted by Queen Eclaira, making them siblings, Schöneitel is a vain, villainous goddess who frequently antagonizes the Aschenputtel Trio. She is opposed in turn by the Aschenputtel Trio and their allies, as she is a villain and the Aschenputtel Trio want to stop her schemes. However, both sides want to keep various aspects of fairytales alive in a more constructive fashion, and the main reason behind Schöneitel's antagonism of her more heroic siblings is because she doesn't want them to become complacent and corrupt.
* CarryABigStick: Her royal scepter also doubles as a bludgeoning mace when she isn't using it as her MagicStaff to channel her spells with.
* ChildProdigy: Even as a young filly, she was extremely beautiful -- causing many to believe she was blessed by Fae -- and talented in sorcery. While not the only factor, this influenced the ruling couple of the Aschenputtel sub-kingdom she lived in to adopt her as one of their daughters. The indoctrination she went through to fit Aschenputtel's expectations of her informed her development as she grew up, and created a deep resentment for Aschenputtel that would fester for years.
* TheChosenOne: As a young filly, Schöneitel was prophesied to become a great heroine who confronted a "great darkness" that was threatening Aschenputtel, leading to her adoption by her sub-kingdom's ruling couple at the time. And even before that, she was born beautiful and talented beyond even Aschenputtel's high standards, leading to rumors that she was blessed by Fae. She is also utterly vain with a strong mirror aesthetic, though she uses her vanity to test heroes by forcing them to face the darkest sides of themselves they don't want anyone to see. Fittingly, in addition to her domains of ''Mirrors'' and ''Vanity'', she wields a [[FightingSpirit Stand]] called "Mare in the Mirror" (now "Heaven's Mirror"), which shows viewers their truest selves.
* CoolCrown: As a villainous Queen, she often wears resplendent crowns that match her divine silver reqalia.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Schöneitel was born an aristocrat so beautiful and talented that she was adopted by the rulers of one of the Aschenputtel Empire's sub-kingdoms. While she grew up to become a heroic damsel famed for her beauty, Schöneitel grew vain and spoiled from the constant phrases, and she resented not only Aschenputtel's restrictive, sexist cultural norms, but also the moral corruption that contrasted the ideals of heroism and innocence that Aschenputtel claimed to follow. The last straw came when, following her adoptive parents' deaths, Schöneitel discovered that she was groomed to fulfill a prophecy involving Aschenputtel. This enraged her so much that she angrily cursed her subjects on her coronatin day, unwittingly dooming her home to destruction at Queen Eclaira's hooves. She fled in horror, and by the time she was found, she was living as a solitary witch, seemingly content with her life but brimming with years worth of resentment and fury towards her former subjects.

She only inflicts this fate upon those she genuinely found to be wanting, though it also serves the reason behind her increased divine power and eldritch appearance, as she devoured even entire realms and pantheons through her mirrors.
* MagicStaff: Her royal scepter, ''Morgen Stern'', also functions as this, as she uses it as her main method of channeling her spells. Her spellcasting capabilities are diminished if she were to lose her scepter in some way.

** Schöneitel's Stand, Mare in the Mirror, is named after the song "Man in the Mirror" by Music/MichaelJackson, and is about the singer [[TookALevelInKindness resolving to change himself as a person]] so he can improve the CrapsackWorld he lives in. Mare in the Mirror's main power takes the song literally by [[TheMirrorShowsYourTrueSelf exposing people's darkest thoughts and actions]]. Following Schöneitel's Ascension, Mare in the Mirror gains a second name, Heaven's Mirror, whose power is upgraded to reality-warping illusions. In other words, those who face it are exposed before God and receiving divine judgement for their sins.

* SolitarySorceress: After abandoning her throne and fleeing the Aschenputtel sub-kingdom she was to rule in her guilt, she became a hermit for a time, making a living as the local witch of a small village. She was seemingly content with this, but a visiting Luminiferous and Speedwagon discover that she was actually holding years worth of bitterness and rage towards both her former would-be subjects, who she desired to punish for their moral hypocrisies. With some encouraging, she chose to act on her desires, eventually leading to her Ascension and adoption by Queen Eclaira.
* SpeakIllOfTheDead: Schöneitel has absolutely no love for her first adoptive parents, the King and Queen of the Aschenputtel sub-kingdom she was born in. Not only did they force her to conform to sexist gender roles in their obsession with fairytales, but they also groomed her to fulfill a prophecy made early in her fillyhood, giving her no freedom to live her life whatsoever. As a result, she is utterly disdainful and bitter whenever she speaks of them, with her only regret being not defying them sooner.

* SquishyWizard: One of her biggest weaknesses is that while she's a very powerful divine sorceress, her skills in physical combat generally involve bashing heads in with her royal scepter. If she were to lose her scepter, her capabilities will be diminished.
* StaffOfAuthority: Her royal scepter, ''Morgen Stern'', functions as both her MagicStaff and her official symbol of authority as Queen.

** She ''despises'' hypocrisy, especially in heroes. Part of her disillusionment with Aschenputtel came from its obsession with the idea that BeautyEqualsGoodness, which caused people to automatically trust those who were outwardly attractive yet had rotten character underneath. She also hated how certain amoral heroes and damsels exploited this to get away with various atrocities, so she developed her Stand, Mare in the Mirror, for the purpose of exposing them. The realization that Aschenputtel was too corrupt to make her efforts meaningful contributed to her RageBreakingPoint.

* GodEating: Of a sort. While lacking the ravenous hunger that both Eclaira and her biological children have, she makes up for this by trapping people in her mirrors and magically draining them of both life and beauty. Notably, she had subjected this fate to whole pantheons who she deemed wanting. Since her mirrors are a natural part of her as a goddess of Mirrors, her method technically counts as an example. It's also the reason why she is much stronger and more eldritch-looking despite being one of the younger Filii Festi members.

Part of her domain of Queens is that she grows stronger in corrupt and stagnant realms, and she is also a sorcerous prodigy who holds power over mirrors and the dark arts. However, it's subverted; a huge reason why she became an evil goddess is so she can test mortal heroes and see if they would overcome their worst flaws, including their own vanity. Anyone who falls short are imprisoned within her mirrors and drained of both beauty and vitality.
* GodSaveUsFromTheQueen: Schöneitel presently holds the rank of "Queen", yet she is utterly vain to the point where she constantly surrounds herself with mirrors -- even adorning her own dresses with mirrors and having a Palace of Mirrors built just for her. She is also quite devious, having tricked both villains and heroes alike into either falling into her traps or exposing their dirty deeds for all to see. Fittingly, Schöneitel is an Alicorn goddess who embodies Mirrors and evil fairytale Queens, with the latter giving her the ability to grow stronger when she rules over corrupt realms, while her domain of Mirrors allows her to trap and drain people of their life and beauty within her mirrors. Ironically, Schöneitel's former subjects and family in Aschenputtel ''wanted'' her to be TheHighQueen, but she was left too embittered by their obsession with fairytales and their moral corruption to even consider the idea.
* GoodNeedsEvil: Part of Schöneitel's character development involved learning that evil is ultimately crucial to one's survival. Without something to test them, heroes will become complacent, and places that are overly good will eventually stagnate and fall into corruption out of boredom. The Aschenputtel Empire fell because they believe goodness and virtue should be without evil, which eventually spelled their doom. This motivated Schöneitel to become a villainess, and when the Aschenputtel Trio chose to Ascend, she decided to follow them so she can test them and keep them from becoming corrupt like the heroes of Aschenputtel did.
* GoodPrincessEvilQueen: She's the "Evil Queen" to Royal Grace's "Good Princess". In emulation of wicked Queens from various fairytales, Schöneitel is an utterly vain goddess who holds the rank of Queen, wields dark sorcery, and traps people within her {{Magic Mirror}}s if they displeased her.
