* BrokenPedestal: Chuck E. immediately drops his crush on her after seeing her with Peter and Ivan and realizing she only liked him for the money.

* BrokenPedestal: Chuck E. immediately drops his crush on her after seeing her with Peter and Ivan and realizing she only liked him for the money. He's not too hurt by this though, since there are more pressing matters to deal with.

* KarmaHoudini: Outside of being pissed that the X-Pilots lost (and thus can't get the prize money for herself), she doesn't suffer any real comeuppance for manipulating Chuck E's feelings and ditching him for the X-Pilots and in fact exits the movie freely once she takes her handkerchief back from the X-Pilots and stomps her foot on one of them. This is most likely due to being a VillainyFreeVillain who doesn't do much to hinder the main plot.

* RichBitch: Astrid is rich, and far from a pleasant person.

to:

* RichBitch: Astrid is rich, rich (enough to afford going to the race using all of her summer money), and far from a pleasant person.person.
* VillainyFreeVillain: While she is definitely an unpleasant GoldDigger, she nevertheless poses no true threat to Chuck E.'s chances of winning the race and doesn't resort to any illegal tricks like Dr. Zoom and the X-Pilots did. Once Chuck E. finally realises her true colors, he isn't even interested in doing anything to her in retribution as his true focus is to win the race and save Charlie's farm.

* TheBully: Chuck E. Cheese calls both of them that and they most certainly show.

* {{Expy}}: They are obvious knockoffs of Hans and Franz.
* FauxAffablyEvil: They can certainly be boastful and laidback gentlemen who flirt with women, until someone sets them off and they are ready to rough them up, ladies, animals, whatever.
* TheHeavy: They are more active than Dr. Zoom and Chuck E. only directly faces these guys for the whole movie while never confronting Zoom directly.

* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: Their uniforms are both red and black, representing their arrogance and antagonistic behavior. Also, Peter's uniform has a red top while Ivan's is all black.

to:

* KickTheDog:
** They would hit anyone, even an actual dog like Jasper (though they never get the chance to do so since Dr. Zoom stops them from going that far, [[PragmaticVillainy albeit for the wrong reasons.]])
** While thinking Helen has betrayed Chuck E to hang out with them (which she was faking), they just had to go to the Soda Shop and rub it in his face.*
* LaughablyEvil: While they are bullies to root against, their entertaining streak as a result of their stupidity makes it very hard to take them seriously.
RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: Their uniforms are both red and black, representing their arrogance and antagonistic behavior. Also, Peter's uniform has a red top while Ivan's is all black.black.
* StupidEvil: Justified in their case. The Zoom Gas causes brain damage as a side effect of seeing better at fast speeds.

* WouldHitAGirl: The X-Pilots respond in the affirmative when Jasper asks them if they would hit a lady (Helen).

to:

* VitriolicBestBuds: They can be jerks to each other like they do everyone else (In fact their last scene is them arguing who's fault their defeat is), but they at least work great as a team while having a good time together.
* WouldHitAGirl: The X-Pilots respond in the affirmative when Jasper asks them if they would hit a lady (Helen). That and they aren't the least bit hesitant to assist Dr. Zoom's plan to jucify Helen.

Added DiffLines:

* {{Greed}}: Implied to be his primary motivation.

Added DiffLines:

* MadScientist: While he's not the insane kind, he is one of the immoral and evil kind, creating a sight-improving drug out of chicken extract.
* MoralityPet: Subverted hard. He seems to be the only person who can stop Peter and Ivan from being too violent, but it's not only just for pragmatic reasons, but he actually encouraged their rude behavior in the first place.

Added DiffLines:

* ObviouslyEvil: Even before he is revealed to be the mastermind behind the X-Pilot's success, the businessman-like costume, the cartoon villain like name, and the fact that he didn't stop the X Pilots from hurting Chuck E. out of any moral reasons kind of give it away. In fact, in Jasper's song, he calls him "that evil Dr. Zoom" before his true nature was revealed.

Added DiffLines:

* PutOnAPrisonBus: He is arrested in the end alongside the X Pilots.
* TheUnfought: He and Chuck E Cheese only appear together in one scene and even then, they don't even interact with each other. The only character he interacts with besides the X-Pilots is Helen, and there isn't much of a confrontation or fight scene between them.

Added DiffLines:

* VillainSong: Zoom Gas, of course.

* MeaningfulName: Chuck E.'s middle name, Entertainment, reflects on his job as an entertainer for kids and their families.

Added DiffLines:

* MeaningfulName:
** The name Jasper is Persian for "treasurer", likely referring to his job as the treasurer -- or one of the supporting members of Chuck E.'s band. Jasper is also a type of metamorphic rock that comes in shades of brown, like his fur.
** His middle name, Tennessee, refers to the country where he was raised and that he was born in the South.
** Jowls, his surname, refers to the lower flapping part of the cheeks like dogs have.

* HalfDressedCartoonAnimal: Always had his feet and lower body exposed throughout the PTT era, wearing just a vest, bowtie, and DashinglyDapperDerby. Beginning with the Tux era, his outfits generally cover the lower part of his body (except for his first Studio C animatronic) before becoming fully clothed all the time some years later.

Added DiffLines:

* PhraseCatcher: "Turn off the fruitcake dog!!" from the early PTT years, which Chuck E. would deliver in frustration to Jasper's original dopiness.

Added DiffLines:

* AdaptationDyeJob: His hair color differed between blonde and redhead depending on his puppet designs. His live-action appearance makes him brunette.

Added DiffLines:
