The PlayerCharacter, and the Son of Fabian. Told by his father to run away and leave his life behind, he has returned under the masquerade of a lowly mercenary captain to find out the whereabouts of his father.

It's subverted though in Elin's case, as while he is semi-aware of at least his secretary's affections, [[ChasteHero he chooses to not let himself feel loved until he finds out about his father.]]
