Instrument wielders might seem like the odd one out. They're ranged characters, but are rather slow. Their weapon seems out of place in a universe based on the real world's geography but with heroic fantasy characters and weapons. When in a battle, other characters will watch you point your "instrument" (which is definitely not a guitar, nope) to the heavens and play an electric riff. Your notes pierce the target and hit the one behind them. And lastly, your ammo is copies of sheet music.
The instrument users are very unique. They are ranged characters and wear light armor. [[SpoonyBard Don't underestimate them]], most of their spells imply playing a song that causes the listeners to [[DarkIsNotEvil go insane]].

A monk is a character that any PvP user will find very helpful for a long time. His protection spells are all about keeping the hero alive - and if the hero falls, everyone just runs away. (To be fair, the D-rank mercenaries are just that - mercenaries) Protection heals your hero every turn for some mana, while shield of protection kicks in every time your hero is attacked for some mana. (It can activate more than once in a turn, nice for when everyone gangs up on the hero, which is pretty common in PvP)

* StatusBuffDispel: Kind of. Holy Guard places a buff on a row of characters. When it is cast, the target loses all their buffs and debuffs. However, while that buff is active, they can't be targeted with any skills. This includes healing.
* UselessUsefulSpell: Although protection and shield of protection are very helpful in PvP, the hero isn't attacked in PvE very much. Most monsters can only attack one character in the front of the column. You could put the hero in the front row, but if the monk's MP bar is empty, you'll take normal damage, which can be fatal when fighting multiple formations since they love to beat down a single front row character. You still shouldn't have the hero in the front, since it's a game-over if the hero falls.
