* Madi survives for over ''two months'' on her own after Primefiya before Clarke finds her, and is quite the competent CrazySurvivalist. She leads Clarke into a bear trap before pouncing on her with a knife to eliminate the possible threat, and later sneaks into where Clarke is sleeping and steals her gear--including her weapons--without waking her. When Clarke stumbles upon her after this, she's (successfully) spearing fish in a river. Keep in mind Madi is like, 6.

* Octavia's beatdown in "Survival of the Fittest" is both awesome and horrifying. Horrifying in just how brutal the beating is. Awesome in that she keeps getting back up from what the Grounders clearly thought was a series of individual [[CurbStompBattle curb stomp battles]]. Indra's so impressed with her Determinator abilities that she immediately offers to train her to be her second in command, having previously flat out refused to even teach her to fight.
