* Catherine's revenge on her [[AbusiveParents abusive mother]], Margaret, in ''3 by 3''. The Oakwoods get to the final round of a quiz show through the use of Catherine's psychic powers. During the [[GoldenSnitch final round]], Catherine and Margaret get the chance to win over £40,000 - all they have to do is give the same answer to the last question, with one of them locked in a SoundProofBooth. Catherine, who has spent the whole game realising just how much of the world she has missed out on due to her [[MyBelovedSmother mother's overprotective influence]], says she wants to use the money to go travelling to New Zealand. Margaret, however, shoots this down, instead saying the money will be used to build Catherine a basement ([[FridgeHorror or holding cell]]) where she can study for her master's degree. The host suggests the money could be used for both, but it's clear that it won't be if they win the jackpot. Catherine then realises that if one of them gives a correct answer and the other does not, they will walk away with £1,500 - still enough to buy a one-way plane ticket, but ''not'' enough to build the basement room. So, Catherine's final ploy is to give the correct answer to the question - Music/IceT - but use her powers to feed her mother a wrong answer: "[[PrecisionFStrike Fur-Q]]". When Margaret answers with this, she quickly realises the StealthInsult as her daughter breaks free of her control. Enraged, Margaret tries to escape the booth, only to find the door held shut by {{telekinesis}}. Just as Margaret [[MoralEventHorizon hatefully tells her she should have been killed in the womb]], [[YourHeadAsplode Catherine makes her head explode in a bloody mess]] as the host and production crew flee in panic. Roll credits.

* Gabriel's plan in ''Misdirection'' to frame Neville Griffin for the murder of his grandfather, the magician Willy Wondo. Neville's arrogance is ultimately what leads to his downfall, and it is glorious to watch when he realises just what Gabriel was doing all the time during the interview.

No meta example, see this query.

* In a meta sense, the 2018 Halloween special is definitely awesome as many people really ''were'' fooled by the technical difficulties message. Anyone who stuck around to watch the repeat of ''A Quiet Night In'', only to see that the technical difficulties were actually part of the special all along were probably blown away.

Spoilers shouldn't be marked on Awesome subpages.

* Really, Pete's [[DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu punching out Cthulhu]] moment in ''Séance Time '' counts as a moment of awesome. He ''thinks'' he's being confronted by some sort of demonic monster and his immediate response is not to scream or run but to punch it in the face. [[spoiler: It's not his fault it was actually an actor in make-up.]]
* In ''Last Gasp'', Tamsin [[spoiler:releasing the balloon]] in defiance of the adults. Especially impressive given that she had to get out of her wheelchair, detach her breathing tube and climb a flight of stairs, which clearly took her a lot of physical effort.
