When Firefly tries to stop them in the helicopter Barbecue and Roadblock were using to plant the explosives, he quickly turns the tables on Firefly before launching himself at the arsonist effectively ''midair in the helicopter'', successfully wrestling the crazed mercenary. And when it looks like his and Roadblock's only recourse to dowse the new flames engulfing the town is to blow the dam up while they hang by its wall-side, he doesn't hesitate to sacrifice his life to do so alongside the mutually resolved Roadblock.
