** One of the Weapons is attacked by Sephiroth, and while he's able to cut into its shoulder, his sword gets stuck and even forcing it through with both hands only leaves a shallow cut. * Parrying an attack at the right time will negate all damage. This is awesome of its own accord, especially when you have characters repeatedly parry attacks like they're [[Film/TheMatrix Neo]]. Combine that with using other materia like the HP<>MP materia to quickly charge the LimitBreak gauge, and the results [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doW5gpfXZtg kind of speak for themselves here]].

* An understated awesome moment for Zack - Sephiroth notably abandons his usual taunting and mind games whenever he encounters Zack, first by having the Whispers drag him away, then by taking on him and Cloud in battle, and finally, trapping Zack in a world about to be destroyed by Meteor and manifesting as Bizarro Sephiroth. Zack defeating Bizarro Sephiroth on his own and surviving is its own moment of awesome, but the amount of focus Sephiroth puts on getting rid of Zack specifically indicates [[NoNonsenseNemesis shows how much of a threat Sephiroth considers him to be]]. And this is because of two reasons - First, Zack is perhaps the only one amongst the heroes who could pose a genuine threat to him, considering he was able to force him to go all-out when they fought on Nibelheim AND was the only reason why Cloud was able to beat him at all, showing that while Sephiroth might be dismissive of Zack and their past, even he cannot dismiss Zack and wanted him out of the way because he knew Zack working with the heroes would allow them to surely best him in combat. Secondly, Zack's [[IncorruptiblePurePureness goodness]] makes him a PositiveFriendInfluence to Cloud, thus making him a major roadblock for Sephiroth when it comes to pushing Cloud over the edge.

* The original game implied at the end that Aerith has a lot of untapped potential, but here the audience gets a firsthand look at her in top form upon receiving a fully functioning and powered up White Materia, thanks to her successful BatmanGambit. She can hijack Whispers, provide support across timelines, and either summoned an avatar, one of her AlternateTimeline selves, or even showed up as a Lifestream ghost to battle Sephiroth at the Edge of Creation. Her BigEntrance alone deserves mention, where she summons her White Whispers to overpower Sephiroth's black ones before stepping into the fray herself, complete with a powerful, slow-motion stride amidst white and rainbow effects, making it loud and clear that she's done playing around and is ready to kick serious ass.

* ''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALA61QtrWHw Many]]'' of the party's [[CombinationAttack synergy abilities]] count, with Tifa's in particular tending to be extremely chaotic. Especially noteworthy:
** The page image shows Aerith and Barret's "Sweet-and-Sour Salvo" attack, where both pose after putting on CoolShades before blasting the target with a hail of magic and bullets respectively.
** "Divine Punishment": Aerith creates a magical shield, which Tifa bounces off like a human pinball, smashing into the enemy repeatedly.
** "Halcyon Descent": Cloud and Yuffie attack in tandem, before she drops a ''giant bomb'' on the enemy, causing an explosion which is so large that it knocks her off balance (until Cloud catches her).
** "Call of the Wild": Tifa briefly drops to all fours, before both her and Red charge into the enemy in a massive combined whirlwind.

Again, not a suitable example. Characters yelling at their comrades to snap out of a stupor is just that, not an awesome moment in itself.

Hardly counts as an "awesome" moment. It's just yelling at a comrade to get their act together and focus. Nothing extraordinary nor exceptionally epic.
