This did not happen. Patti Lupone got pissed and stopped the show in 2008 during Gypsy.

* Any broadway buff would know that Evita actress Patti [=LuPone=] hates two things: bootlegs of shows and illegal filming during shows. So when she saw a guy filming one of her performances in Evita, she stops ''mid performance'' and really tears the asshole apart. What does she do after destroying a jerk like that? ''She goes back and restarts her number like nothing happened.'' Badass.

** "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina" is absolutely amazing. First off,the lyrics. They're just so powerful, especially when combined with the LargeHam awesomeness. "The truth is, I NEEEEEEVEEEEEER left you!" The pure emotion is stellar, and Eva is just radiating triumph. It makes me want to start cheering "EV-A! EV-A! EV-A!"

* "I'll tell you what's new, Buenos Aires!"
"Buenos Aires", Eva's TakeThat song to Magaldi and all her detractors back home, proclaiming she's going to become famous.
* Don't "Don't Cry for me ArgentinaMe, Argentina". No matter the production, this song is ''guaranteed'' to be a showstopper.
* "Rainbow Tour", before its sudden slide into TearJerker. Eva is so triumphant, and it's a wardrobe department's dream.
