** After being unable to defeat Animo's newest creation as Cannon Bolt, Ben unlocks a new alien for the job: Gax, who is from the same species as Vilgax. That's right, something fans wanted since the Original Series finally happened.

** The great return of Upgrade… or should we say [[HalfHumanHybrid Glitch?]]. Since "Omni-tricked" he has been acting as a GeniusLoci inside the Omnitrix, gaining knowledge about the enemies and even almost does a ''second'' HeroicSacrifice at the end.

** At the DarkestHour (when Ben as Shock Rock is being mind controlled, Vilgax has been banished and Glitch is about to be overrun) who comes to the rescue? Why, Gwen and Max, of course. They even use the Dna chambers to transform into Stink Fly and Cannon Bolt, respectively.

* Just the last episode, Vilgax sank in an active volcano. This episode shows the consequences… [[NighInvulnerable he just got some burns.]]
** The first trasformation in an Omni-enhanced form is awesome. Diamondhead even gets an ArmCannon / Laser blade out of it.

* "The Ultimate Enemy Part 1", George and Ben vs the Diagon powered Vilgax. Also, Kevin freeing Gwen from Diagon's mind control. After he witnessed Gwen stomping Ben as ''Humongosaur'' with a mere gesture!

** After that, we have Ben stabbing Vilgax with Ascalon, sealing the Diagon in said sword.
** Vilgax, even though Ben has beaten him, nearly gets moral victory when almost manipulates Ben into using Diagon's power to remake the universe to his own liking, only to be stopped by Julie.

** Vilgax [[DidYouJustFlipOffCthulhu telling Diagon]] the universe is ''his'' to conquer was pretty awesome. Vilgax baiting Diagon into killing himself was also pretty awesome.

** Future Ben 10,000. To elaborate, Future Ben (the Ben 10,000 we saw in the original series was confirmed to have been an alternate version,) has only one form shown...Ultimate Ben. Basically, without actually BECOMING an alien, he can still use his Ultimatrix's alien's powers. He still has to switch between them, but man, is he awesome!
* "The Purge" the Forever Knight, being turned back into a real treath by the return of Sir George start hunting aliens and attempting to kill them if they can't or don't want to leave Earth. Ben fight Driscoll in a duel, asking that if he wins, they will have to let the aliens go. Though he wins, Driscoll goes back on his word. Ben answers by stabbing the wall just next to his head as Ultimate Spider-Monkey, turning back to human, and delivering the following [[BadassBoast speech]]:

** Followed by Way Big vs. Giant Vilgax. Ben even says ""finally"" before delivering the CurbStompBattle and tossing him to space, again.

* "War of the Worlds". Winning the day, not with firepower, but with the peaceful method of helping the Higbreed with their problem. Actually, "strength tempered with mercy" is a recurring theme in the episode. Namely: Using the Omnitrix to cure [=DNAliens=], Ben stopping Darkstar from harming a bunch of them, Cooper using his technokinesis to build "[=DNAlien=] cure guns," and use of NonLethalKO as a combat tactic. That shows a real maturity that you'd ''hope'' someone with their level of power would display...and [[AesopAmnesia stick to.]]

** Ben's exact actions against his tormentors deserve a mention: The jerks in question are JD and Cash, Ben's old bullies (or for those who don't remember, those morons from the first episode who wedigied him). When they first hassle him (shoving a tray of smoothies into him) he simply shrugs it off, even waving Kevin off when he's about to come over. When they continue to douche around, Ben prepares to use his watch on them like the old days.. and then backs off, giving Cash one hell of a TheReasonYouSuckSpeech and getting aforementioned applause for it.:

* Ben's very first transformation into Heatblast in "And Then There Were 10", after he stopped freaking out.

** In general, even when under the control of [[BastardBoyfriend Michael]], she proves to be a dangerous foe… especially considering in this version she isn't Hex's niece and just recently started practicing magic.

* You know Psyphon, Vilgax's toadying sidekick? He'd be the last character you'd expect to have CMOA material. After one of Vilgax's [[JokerImmunity many "final" defeats]], Psyphon comes to Earth to avenge his master. He's got killer robots, he's got all the weaponry Vilgax had acquired before his "death," and he's got [[LetsGetDangerous a serious mad-on]]. He was in fact the ''first villain ever'' to actually beat an Ultimate form - something Vilgax himself had yet to do. You'll spend half the episode saying "No way, ''he'' did ''that?''"

** The way Ben can immediately change forms inside the Omnitrix is really cool, especially when he forms [[AllYourPowersCombined a fusion of]] [[SuperStrength Four Arms]], [[SuperToughness Diamond Head]], [[PlayingWithFire Heat Blast]] and [[SuperSpeed Xlr8]].

* Gwen defeating Zombozo without even having to fight. It was just... seriously, it has to be seen to be believed how ''awesome'' it was.

* Under the effects of Vilgax' s mind control machines Animo's Alphas turn in a competent force, even blocking Ben [[GenreSavvy before he can use the Omnitrix]].

** Ben turning into Diamondhead and destroying Vilgax robot.

* Ben TrickingTheShapeshifter in "Primus." [[spoiler: Ben gives up the Omnitrix to Vilgax in exchange for the hostages he has. Unfortunately for Vilgax, the Omnitrix systems have rebooted since he last used it, so he needs Ben's help. Ben shows him how to turn into an alien by turning him into an alien with an easily exploitable weakness, which Ben does exploit, and then takes back the Omnitrix from the helpless Vilgax]]

* After Aggregor [[spoiler: kills the aliens and [[OneWingedAngel absorbs their powers]] ]], Ben '''loses it''' [[UnstoppableRage and gives him the biggest smack down ever seen in the series]]. Gwen even had to hold him back.

** Later, Gwen vs. Kevin. She uses one of [[spoiler:''Charmcaster's'' summons]] on him. Gentlemen, the LesYay from a few episodes ago has come full circle.
** When they're putting the final touches on their plan, who should help but [[spoiler:Cooper, who hit a major growth spurt.]] TookALevelInBadass indeed.

** Finally, after all is said and done, [[spoiler:Darkstar reveals that he just wanted to steal all of Kevin's powers for his own. It would seem that the series is about to invoke HereWeGoAgain...then Ben reveals the last-minute failsafe in his plan, which strips Darkstar of his newfound powers.]]

** Not only Gax has [[spoiler:Vilgax]]' s strength and durability (he manages to crack a mountain by jumping on it and bathe in lava) but also CombatTentacles and EyeBeam.

* The triumphant return of [[spoiler:Vilgax]], after he reunites his halfs. It also works as a meta example, since he shows his [[TheJuggernaut juggernaut]] tendencies by giving a CurbStompBattle to Ben, Sixsix, Kraab and Tetrax in a way not seen since the Original Series.

** After being easily defeated in the previous episode, Ben is able to land some blows on Vilgax using the rapid pace of the changes [[ConfusionFu even he can't control]]. [[spoiler:[[RealityEnsues Then Vilgax quickly adapts and starts beating on him again]]]].

** Ben using Upgrade to stop Vilgax's ship from leaving the atmosphere, and then [[spoiler:upgrading his own Omnitrix to unlock Master Code]], finally turning the tables on the alien conqueror.

** The first trasformation in an [[spoiler:Omni-enhanced form]] is awesome. Diamondhead even gets an ArmCannon / Laser blade out of it.

** After Animo injects himself with the stolen alien dnas, he transform into [[spoiler:''Rath'']] (complete with catchphrase), giving him the strenght to stand up to Vilgax and almost kill Ben.

** Vilgax shows he is also a pretty smart adversary and a hell of ManipulativeBastard. [[spoiler:He works with the Weather Heads to create natural disaster each time Ben transforms, convincing the kid that he is losing control of his powers]] and that he should give the Omnitrix to him for everyone' s sak. It actually works, and only [[SpannerInTheWorks Gwen]] make his plan fail.
* Using the EnergyAbsorption of Shock Rock (thanks to the [[spoiler:Weather Heads blasting him]] despite [[NiceJobFixingItVillain Vilgax warning them not to]]) Ben finally gets his first straight [[DefeatingTheUndefeatable victory over Vilgax]].

* How dangerous is [[spoiler:the Fulmini Empire?]]. Enough for Vilgax to ally with Ben. While the two don't have a good teamworks, they still take on a horde of enemis.
** Vilgax proves once and for all to be a GeniusBruiser: he knows the Omnitrix inside out, including how to get inside it. He even states that with [[spoiler:the Omnicore]] he could build his own.

** After the [[spoiler:Omnicore reboot, Glitch]] now is outside of the Omnitrix. How cool is it to have one of Ben' s aliens join the party permanently?

** How well the fight is handled: it shows the hero has clearly [[TookALevelInBadass taken a level in badass]], but also that Vilgax is still superior, dominating the whole fight. Ben can't defeat him, barely being able to trow him out of the ship with Gwen's help. A nice way to avoid VillainDecay.

* Shock Rock makes his debut… and immediatly scores some points by making [[HorrifyingTheHorror Vilgax panics]] and declare he must destroy him before he become a treat to the whole planet.
