Later, during the game against Rinkai High, she realizes that her father's "lightning ball" could only be thrown when he was pushed to his limits and exhausted and relying on sheer willpower - exactly the force of will that allowed her to finish tilling the soil.

She was the MVP of the previous Softball Champions, and turned down a scholarship to play for this "experiment", but she never mentions any regrets. She also picks up the loser of the love triangle on the rebound.

* ShowSomeLeg: The girls (Well Seira and Hikaru actually) do this to a team from a boys-only school. It works for a couple innings, then the boy's coach points out that girls that pretty probably already have boyfriends.. The atmosphere gets ugly REAL quick.

* WigDressAccent: Kanako Mita has to disguise herself with a green wig to avoid having her father - the principal who disapproves of the team -- find out she's on the roster.
