* Did Amity really mean to be mean when she first appeared, or was she merely doing all of her actions out of necessity as per expectations of her mother to make the family look good?
** She may've been trying to keep her status as a top student to avoid facing the wrath of her mother, and when that didn't work, her mother found out and very harshly and severely punished her for such a failure. Perhaps that's also the reason she initially held a grudge against Luz, and didn't tell her the truth, because she doesn't want anyone to know the truth about her personal life at home, and tries to cover up her insecurities with a facade.

* Does he truly [[spoiler:love Hunter (the Golden Guard). While he usually speaks gently to him and refers to their deceased family, he does lash out at him went he fails to retrieve the palismen and judging by Hunter's resigned tone about speaking "out of line", it was not the first time.]]

* How much of their behaviour stems from genuine malicious intent or ObliviouslyEvil? While they are shown to be sadistic and willing to commit genocide on a whim, they also describe the whole thing as a game and [[NoSocialSkills truly believed]] [[IJustWantToHaveFriends that Belos was their friend.]] [[spoiler: This becomes even more obvious upon their release as they seem to be nothing more than an absurdly powerful but ultimately prepubescent child.]]
** How much of their behaviour and BlueAndOrangeMorality is due to their GooGooGodlike status or [[GoMadFromTheIsolation a result of being trapped in isolation for centuries?]]

* In "Any Sport in a Storm", was Darius [[spoiler:genuinely happy for Hunter because he made new friends his age, or is he just happy that Hunter might annoy him less if he knows more people?]]
** [[spoiler: "Hollow Mind" all but confirms it was genuine on Darius's part, considering how he reacted to finding out Hunter stuck in Belos's mind.]]

* While he tries to dissuade Luz by insisting that the Titan doesn't want anything boorish like invading the human realm, this is possibly [[FalseReassurance sketchy]] given how he has a habit of lying like when he [[spoiler: promised Lilith that he would cure Eda of her curse only to sentence her to be petrified instead]]. Turns out [[spoiler:he really was telling the truth to Luz because he's actually a human who wants to get back home... after he finishes killing all the inhabitants on the Boiling Isles.]]

* Lilith's [[spoiler: OhCrap reaction to the revelation that ''she'' cursed Eda. Guilt over what she'd done, or simply panic over the fact that she'd accidentally ''admitted out loud'' what she'd done? Fandom's already taking sides.]]

* Most of all, is he truly evil or [[NotEvilJustMisunderstood just misunderstood]]? The latter could refer to him [[spoiler: [[DeliberateValuesDissonance being a product of his time period]]]], which pretty much is a major part in how evil he became either way.

* Eda is dismissive of traditional teaching, especially about the magic school. Could she have been put on the wrong track, the way Willow was? Or she is against the Emperor’s system which limits people’s magical skills unless they join his coven. "Once Upon A Swap" reveals that [[spoiler:Eda originally wanted to join the Coven with Lilith when they were children before something caused her to rebel.]]

* Most of all, is he truly evil or [[NotEvilJustMisunderstood just misunderstood]]. The latter could refer to him [[spoiler: [[DeliberateValuesDissonance being a product of his time period]]]], which pretty much is a major part in how evil he became either way.

* As of Season 1, Amity is either an AcademicAlphaBitch that [[InferioritySuperiorityComplex hides her insecurities behind a mask of superiority]] or she is a LonelyRichKid who has NoSocialSkills and uses her status to compensate for the obligatory isolation or both. [[spoiler: It especially doesn't help that she has a pair of twin siblings that are bullies, and she gets inadvertently humiliated by a human in her first appearance, even though [[NeverMyFault it was mainly because of her own selfish and mean-spirited actions]] and was [[ItsAllAboutMe only thinking how she was affected]]]].
* Was Amity trying to mock Willow or was she genuinely trying to be encouraging and came across as InnocentlyInsensitive? After all, Amity isn't wrong when she says that Willow can't afford another failure and doesn't have ''anything'' to show for it. She doesn't actually get antagonistic until Willow steals her spot as top student, and it's easy to attribute the rest of her actions to insecurity (which is confirmed in "Covention").
** The later revelation that [[spoiler: Willow and Amity were childhood friends]] throws ''another'' new variable into this, as now there's the possibility Amity was deliberately playing up the condescension because she feels it's the best way to motivate Willow to work harder on her magic (and given that Willow's power appears to be fueled by her anger, she [[JerkassHasAPoint might not be entirely wrong about that.]]) If Amity truly feels she isn't "allowed" to be friends with "half-a-witch Willow", then maybe she legitimately sees being her ''enemy'' as [[CruelToBeKind the only way left of helping her achieve her potential.]] However, its also clear that [[DidNotThinkThisThrough Amity's bullying is part of why Willow resorted to cheating with Luz's help]] and failing her classes and being picked on by her and her peers [[NotHelpingYourCase is why Willow very much low self-esteem and hated going to school prior to meeting Luz]]. [[spoiler:"Understanding Willow" confirms this, showing that Amity's parents ''forced'' her to stop hanging out with Willow and threatened to pull strings to prevent Willow from going to Hexside if she didn't obey.]]
*** In the first season finale, she's demoted to a [[TheCameo cameo]] [[spoiler: while recovering from a broken leg. What was her reaction to seeing that Eda was sentenced to death, and that Luz mounted a dramatic rescue? Relief, since she respects Eda now? Fear that her crush has invited the Emperor's wrath upon her, which makes her a social target for the Blights? Bewilderment that Lilith was involved? It's up in the air for now]].
*** [[spoiler: In second season is revealed that Amity´s jeweled necklace is a telepathic device used by Odalia to send mental messages to her. How much of what Amity to Willow said could have been on her mother's orders? Is it possible that Amity was terrified at the thought that her mother might was also listening her through the necklace?]]

* With the revelation and confirmation of Amity [[spoiler: being a lesbian]], it make one wonder, even if WordOfGod stated that [[spoiler: Luz]] is her first big crush, did she still, at some point, could've had a smaller crush on [[spoiler:Willow]] that Amity herself was unaware of, or in the very least as trying to repress because [[spoiler: she didn't want to ruin their friendship? Even though her parents were the ones to break it off in the first place.]] And even if it wasn't broken off, would've Amity and [[spoiler:Willow]] ended up in a ChildhoodFriendRomance?
* How much of Amity's actions were done of her own will, and how much were just carrying out her parents' will? Given how they forced into ending her friendship with Willow, it wouldn't be too outlandish to think that some of her actions throughout the season were actually forced by her parents. In fact, maybe the real reason she plans to enter the Emperor's Coven is because her parents are forcing her to [[spoiler: this later turns out to be true as revealed in Reaching Out, as it was actually her mom's dream, and her dad just went along with it]].
* Does Amity know (or at least suspect) that Luz has a crush on her as well? Could that have factored into her choice to [[spoiler:kiss Luz on the cheek]]?
** Post that scene, did Amity realize that [[spoiler: Luz reciprocates her crush on her and she left out of plain nervousness? Or did she think that Luz didn't return her feelings, and is worried that she might have scared and disgusted Luz and ruined their friendship?]]

* ''For the Future'' added a slew of new interpretations to Boscha's actions in that episode.

* Is Boscha a true AlphaBitch or, like Amity, someone who uses a JerkassFacade to hide insecurities that any teenager has, obsessed with status and being popular hiding some HiddenDepths? "Wing it like Witches" strongly implies the latter.

* On that note, his sparing [[spoiler:Little Rascal]] and hiding the little guy from Belos. Was it Luz's pep talk telling him he didn't want to have a sapient being's death on his hands? The fact that [[spoiler:Little Rascal gives him new spells during the fight with Amity]] hints that [[spoiler:Little Rascal]] is trying to win him over with honey instead of vinegar and gently persuade him to change his mind.

* Luz’ video diary [[spoiler: in “Thanks To Them” reveals the first Good Witch Azura book she ever got was from her dad as a final gift before his death. Is Luz an Azura fanatic because she loves the stories that much or because she wants to keep Manny’s memory alive?]]
