* ''WebVideo/TheHappyVideoGameNerd'': One towards The Angry Video Video Game Nerd and caustic critics, right down to the opening theme song of his earlier reviews and parodying a few of AVGN's reviews. Unlike AVGN and other critics, instead of bringing up awful video games that are best avoided, he talks about overlooked and under-rated video games not many played or heard of.

** While PokéBattles proper has long since become a DeadFic and its original incarnation fell off the web when [[Website/GeoCities GeoCities]] went down, the concept is continued in PokéBattles Foxfire, [[https://pokebattles-foxfire.neocities.org/ here]].

* Two ''Franchise/PowerRangers'' parodies, Mighty Weenie Pathetic Rangers and Post Psychedelic Power People made the rounds in the early 00's. They were close enough to the original scripts (and kept the most important parts as much the same as they could)) that fans could relive memories (this was before Website/YouTube was an option) and diverted enough from the original that fans could have a laugh. The latter continued beyond spoofing ''Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers'' and even spoofed Zeo with Power People Zeeto, Turbo with Power People Turkey, In Space with Power People Lost In Space, and Lost Galaxy with Power People Lost Sanity. It's obvious that both creators were devoted fans of the show and based on conversations in newsgroups, admired each others' work. [=ArtistBros=] (the creator of the former) even said they were happy that they were the ones continuing beyond spoofing season 3.

* The ''WebVideo/DaredollsDilemmas'' and ''WebOriginal/ElectrobabeAndDynachick'' are loving (sexy) parodies of sixties shows like Batman and Electrowoman and Dynagirl, with chessy and bizarre villains, MaleGaze and slow deathtraps.

Added DiffLines:

* ''WebVideo/GilbertGarfield'' lampoons tropes from various forms of internet horror, from older Creepypastas to more recent AnalogHorror, with the opening in particular being very similar to that of ''WebVideo/MarbleHornets'', having a ridiculous premise (the protagonist's attempt to research a supposed disturbing ''Franchise/{{Garfield}}'' and Creator/GilbertGottfried crossover leads to the discovery that it's a front for [[spoiler: an Italian fascist MegaCorp that clones people in a desire to bring back Pax Romana]]) that's played with a mostly straight face. Even so, it's clear from the presentation that a lot of effort was put into it, and despite the {{Bathos}} it can manage to be disturbing in its own right.
