** Ferdinand is a borderline example, what with his inability to apologize to Anna without starting to ramble incoherently and switch to GratuitousGerman. Sadly, he gets it under control a while later.
** Anna, despite being adorkable in the film, is OutOfCharacter in this fic and she does not act like a cute dork (AvertedTrope).

From his signature NerdGlasses to his [[CovertPervert downright fucked-up]] yet ludicrously genius mind to his AmbiguouslyGay mannerisms to his incredibly expressive emotions to his crush on a flower to his often unintentionally hilarious sense of humor (and also that time when ''he wore a dress''), everything about Jack's portrayal in this story is just absolutely lovable to the core. Although all the elements of this story come together more or less flawlessly, Jack's unexpectedly deep CharacterDevelopment in it is what really makes it memorable.

* In Fanfic/SnugglesTheSymbiote Ashley O'Leary/Cuddlebug is an excitable ten-year-old girl who absolutely loves Superheroes, especially Spider-Man, and is always willing to share facts about the heroes and villains from her world to her new friends on Earth Bet.

* Taylor in ''FanFic/ASkitteringHeart'' is shy, socially awkward, a little nerdy and oblivious and as such is somewhat of a dork. She also acts very cutely with her best friend Sabah which makes her adorable. Sabah seems to quite like this.

* ''[[http://alwayshavingjuice.tumblr.com/post/23181778165/i-figured-that-since-most-of-the-non-robotic Silver]]'' from ''Blog/AlwaysHavingJuice'', a SonicTheHedgehog CharacterBlog set in a verse featuring elements from but presented differently from the games, the comics, and other media. Such as Silver the Hedgehog possibly the most adorable robot with a NiceHat you'll see all week.

* In the fic ''FanFic/Security'', Amy Dallon is placed with the Hebert family to get her away from the numerous problems she is facing at home. She bonds with them so well that she ends up calling Danny Hebert 'Dad' by accident, more than once. He doesn't correct her.

However, she has enough drive to cat-herd a disparate group of geeks into restarting her civilization's space program.

* BrainyBrunette Chiyoko Sakamoto from the fanfics ''Fanfic/HolidayVacation'' and ''Fanfic/LuckyStarAfterStory'' is a dead ringer for being adorkable. She is an [[TheCutie adorable]] and [[TokenMiniMoe very short]] [[TeenGenius intellectual]] with [[InnocentBlueEyes huge blue eyes]] and she gets flustered very easily.

* Caramel of ''Fanfic/{{Assumptions}}'' becomes this trope whenever an attractive girl talks to him directly, constantly stuttering and flubbing his lines. Ironically, his main love interest grows fond of him since he doesn't act differently around her, though he does regress back into this after a few teases from her.

* Ignoring their CreepyChild shenanigans, both [[EnigmaticMinion Kaworu]] and [[EnsembleDarkhorse Kei]] (female example) can come off as this in ''FanFic/NobodyDies''.

* Wheatley in the ''VideoGame/{{Portal 2}}'' fic ''[[http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6953776/1/Test_Of_Humanity Test Of Humanity]]'' after becoming a cyborg ([=GLaDOS=] implanted his "brain" into a human body ForScience). Tall, nerdy-looking, clumsy, noticeably chubby, yet friendly and well-meaning. Even [[spoiler:Chell]] admits she finds his awkward nature to be endearing and it's part of the reason [[spoiler:she falls in love with him.]]

* A lot of ''Prince of Tennis'' fanfiction involving [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold Kaidou Kaoru]] involves him being like this in a relationship. [[spoiler: Well, the ones that don't [[SlashFic pair him up with]] [[TheRival Momo]]... Those are BelligerentSexualTension with Kaidou as {{Jerk with a Heart of Gold}} and Momo as a male Type B {{Tsundere}}.]]

** Arthur Nathamer crosses into this territory whenever he encounters a beautiful woman to crush on.

** Sammy is shy and reserved, but nonetheless quite brave when the situation calls for it.
** Cody, especially early on in the story when he and Heather's relationship is just starting out.

* Twilight easily has this in spades in ''FanFic/AHollowInEquestria''. Her infatuation with all the mysteries of Ulquiorra's nature makes it very hard not to smile.
* In ''[[https://archiveofourown.org/works/9448874/chapters/21376838 Not Your Saint George]]'', despite being a ''[[AdaptationSpeciesChange red dragon]]'', Pyrrha is this, being curious about everything[[note]]She's a FishOutOfWater[[/note]], worrying about whether or not she got her inflections right while trying to be intimidating (it's been a few decades since she's actually talked to anyone), happily eating her new favourite food (Meat jerky, then ice cream), and needing Jaune to stop her from trying to steal shiny things (Young dragons are sort of like magpies).
