From YKTTW Working Title: Child Prodigy!

Oonerspism: Wow, my eyes hurt. Does the weird layout of this page strike anyone else as confusing?

Bud0011:Not really, but i am open to suggestions on how to improve it.

Oonerspism: Just saying, the way it's done on all the other trope pages is like so:

Description (your inter-trope area is one paragraph at the end of the description)

(horizontal rule)

Examples (in one of the purple heading things):

(insert examples here, sorted by medium)

(horizontal rule)

(indices)

It's very easy to read that way. The reason that the purple headings are represented by exclamation points in the raw text is that they draw attention to themselves. Having two of them in one screenful is very hard to read.

bud0011: Just to check, is this what you are referring to?

Media:

also, what's wrong with the inter-trope area?

Oonerspism: Look at the page All Is Well That Ends Well. Its layout is fairly standard. Note the last paragraph of the description, which is the equivalent of the "inter-trope area". The examples are sorted into Western Animation, Video Games, Film, Literature, etc. Not trying to stifle creativity or pound on people until they get back into rank-and-file here, but if every page on the site is laid out a certain way, and then a single page is laid out differently just because, it'll be kind of confusing.

bud0011: Alright. By chance, is this trope better or worse?

Oonerspism: That one's kind of different because it has two different types of examples. That comes up sometimes, but rarely. Definitely not for this trope. Putting related tropes in a bulleted list isn't a horrible idea, but don't put a purple heading over it. That'll just cause confusion.

bud0011: Alright, thanks for clearing that up.

Sam Curt: Now I'm confused. This page compasses the common meaning of the term, or just include those who exists in a group much older than they are?
