I'd like to suggest a truly terrible author and some of her work. Where can I do that? I'm asking because I am new

• The Last War (Character Derailment, Out of Character moments for all involved, Dead Fic, some cringeworthy Purple Prose, Series Continuity Errors verging on They Just Didn't Care)
  • Fandom: Harry Potter
  • Pairings: Harry/Hermione
  • Synopsis: Set ten years post-epilogue; Harry and Hermione are stuck in bad marriages with the suddenly horrible Weasley siblngs. Following a night of tragedy, Harry and Hermione find each other and decide to run off together, children in tow. The End.
  • Comments: Even setting aside the horrible vilification of Ron and Ginny (Ron's an alcoholic, abusive ogre and Ginny appears to be a fat, sluttier version of Patsy from Absolutely Fabulous), the way the author reshapes the Wizarding World to suit her plot (Hermione never left Ron because custody laws would've given the kids to Ron, no matter how big a bastard he was) with no set up or justification makes for a horrible read. And this is all before The A Team shows up.

I cut this because it was on the So Bad, It's Good page as well as being a possible Stealth Parody. Should we put a note up on the main horrible fanfic page saying that SBIG stuff can't go here?

Also, Hank's Fury is a troll fic (hell, it was even written by a guy named Mr. Troll). But since there's no TV Tropes standing opinion on it, can someone else check it out in order to get a proper feel for how bad it is? I read it and thought it wasn't appallingly bad, but I'm not just going to play State Sec and delete it entirely on my own opinion...

I'd like to contest Kanashii No Imi.
Yes, it's shocking, yes, it's very disturbing and most likely fan hate, but it pays attention to canon, there's no blatant character derailment, it's not In Name Only, and, as much as I hate to say it, it's well-written, with well thought-out, if not likeable, characters.
Simply put: If we kept it here, we might as well file Whitehouse's "Baby" under Horrible.Music. It's downright disurbing to the point of terror, but it's far from unsalvageable.

I moved the authors section here in an atempt to save the content of the authors page. I will keep bringing it back up until a better compromise is created. Before anyone says Take It To The Forums, 1. The thread in question is locked, 2. that was the problem to begin with. The decision to cut was made on the forums, and not on the page's discussion page where it should've been.
