Regarding the X-Men: Apocalypse entry, Bob mentions in the review that he "admits he was being too kind to Days of Future Past". Now I didn't entirely agree with his XMA review myself, now his assessment of Do FP and the series in general, but I think that's reasonable. He changed his opinion on Man of Steel over time as well, and the first two Iron Man films, (and apparently Thor 2, The Dark Knight Rises, and potentially Skyfall, for that matter) and given how stubborn Bob is (especially considering he starts the review with "Broken record time"), I give him some credit for acknowledging that he gave Dof P a positive review.

One Moment per troper

G Zillafan 77: in The Expendables review, he states that only machoo idiots would like it, which he claims are the worst kind of people. He also makes blanketed statements on way he dosen't like it. Only that the jokes aren't funny and the action sucks. The whole thing could be stated as "The Expendables sucks and you suck for watching it instead of Scott Pilgrim!"

  • Storm Kensho: What amused me the most about Movie Bob getting "broken" by Amazing Spider-man 2 was how he bashed on Amazing Spider-man 1 back in 2012, basically saying "This movie sucks because it isn't exactly like the comic." So we see that he hated the first movie, the second movie isn't getting nearly the acclaim as the first movie(I, personally, haven't gotten to see the second movie to make that call as of this writing), yet the second movie "broke" him? Why in the hell would he go into the sequel to a movie he hates with any sort of expectations in the first place!?

  • Bob's "Heavens to Metroid" video, which was the video he made defending the notorious Metroid Other M from its critics, had great potential to be a polarizing but fair video, going over the game's merits while also acknowledging known criticisms of the work while giving his own take on them. What did it turn out to be? Well, to paraphrase Bob's arguments: "If you don't like Metroid Other M, it's because you're a xenophobic feminazi who can't stomach Samus taking orders from a MAN!" That summation could qualify as a DMOS by itself, but the absolute and most disgusting nadir of the video, the moment where I could no longer count myself as a Movie Bob fan, was when he attacked the superb Metroid Prime series, which are the most critically and commercially acclaimed games in the Metroid series, because they were First-Person Shooters, which are "everything that's wrong with the gaming industry." While he's not entirely wrong in that regard, the Metroid Prime series is an example of FPS done wellnote . And to lump those superb games in with the likes of Call Of Duty, Battlefield, and other shallow FPS games simply because they share a genre is not only ridiculous and disingenuous, it's also downright prejudicial and moronic. Bob, I get it: You're being intentionally provocative with your content as a means of drawing attention to yourself and making money while also expressing your opinion; But when you're actively slandering a series of games that are widely considered to be among the best games ever made in the Sixth Generation if not overallnote  because the game you like doesn't stack up, you're just going to make yourself look like a complete and utter fool.

So if we can't put whole episodes in the Dethroning Moment page, where CAN we put them?

What are you talking about?

There is no place to put whole episodes because we don't want such pages. Dethroning Moment of Suck is a page that survives because it's old. We won't be making such pages anymore.

Harry Henry: I'm talking about how a lot of examples for Movie Bob got cut because they focused on entire episodes instead of one moment from said episodes. A lot of them were, IMO, nice entries to read as they contained valid criticisms of said episodes(in addition to being standard-issue venting), like the entry criticizing his defending of that travesty Metroid: Other M. So I was simply curious where those entries could be ported to so that they won't be lost.

Septimus Heap: Mmkay. I was simply curious. Still, perhaps they could be brought over to the So Bad It's Horrible section of the Darth Wiki? I'm just interested in preserving those cut entries so that they won't be lost to the nether of the Internets...

I don't think it qualifies for So Bad Its Horrible. Though it looks like the Metroid: Other M section does have a specific moment ("The stupidest point, is where he calls Other M better than Metroid Prime is because it isn't a FPS, which he goes on to say is everything wrong with gaming today") that would be valid, but the rest of the entry would need to be trimmed.

Plus, we can't even put it in So Bad Its Horrible because the sections where it would belong (Web Original and Web Video) have been locked due to flame wars.

... avoiding things like this being posted on So Bad Its Horrible is probably part of the reason for the lock. Seriously, as bad as some of those reviews are, do you honestly think that it's turned Bob's works into "A work that is of exceptionally low quality, having been widely panned by critics and a commercial failure"?

Ah, I see. So maybe we could re-add the Other M entry, but trim it down to focus on that particular Dethroning Moment?

Why was the entry on his defense of Anita Sarkeesian removed?

Because you aren't allowed to "defend" someone here. These pages collect certain opinions. Defenses aren't part of that.

^ I think you misread. The removed entry was claiming his defense of of Anita Sarkeesian was a DMOS. It was removed because it didn't claim a single DMOS, rather several throughout the entire episode.

You do realize I was talking about a Dethroning Moment entry that talked about the way BOB defended Sarkeesian in a dismissive, prickish fashion (a controversial act that Bob still refuses to refute to this day), right? I was not talking about any TV Tropes users defending her.

EDIT: Ninja'd.

Obviously, this page isn't fully fleshed out and is undergoing some maintenance. It shouldn't take but some simple trimming to make the previous entries more appropo.

Readded my moment, which was pulled for being about an episode (when it wasn't). My moment only mentioned one thing: the name of the episode as to why it was a DMOS. I can see how someone could think someone thought it was saying that I was saying "the episode 'You Are Wrong About Spider-Man 3'" was the DMOS, but I was saying "the titles 'You Are Wrong About Spider-Man 3' was the DMOS," which is valid.
