openPre-2006 Featuring “Begin Again” never-ending song Film
Pre-2005/6 kids show/movie. It opened with live action kids reading a book about a lady. Then they got sucked into the book. The world was pretty pink and live action but kind of fake. She had hair that changed to be in pigtails (not Loonette the clown, but similar). I was a little kid, so I didn’t really follow it that well. She was guiding the kids or trying to get rid of them by getting them back home or dumping them elsewhere, and they had to hide sometimes. There was a bit I really remember where she approached some men who were singing a never ending song where every verse ended with “begin again.”
I was pretty sure this was a dream, but then it turned out Pete’s Dragon was a thing, too, so I figured I’d give it a shot.
openPurple Guy and (red? green?) Guy- Web Series ANIMATION Web Original
So this is literally driving me insane. There was a web series that was animated, very simple 2D animation. It had a purple guy who was made of circles, or at least his head was a circle, and this other guy who was either red or green with a head shaped like a hershey kiss/water droplet/flame. I can remember there was an episode where they found a robot and played hide and seek with it but the robot didn't understand hide and seek so it just stood there. They didn't speak English, they kind of made "baaap baaap bap bap baaaap" noises or like computerized voices, I can't remember that well. There were English "subtitles" though. The robot didn't talk, it just made beeps and boops and like pressurized air noises. I also think there was an episode that involved a gun or knife??? I feel like there may have also been a yellow guy but they hated him. It always took place outside, too. I think it was an itunes video podcast at some point, but I remember it also had episodes that weren't on itunes and on a separate website. [EDIT] thinking back more I think the voices sounded like vocaloid almost
IF YOU KNOW THIS PLEASE TELL ME I'M GOING NUTS
Edited by princess-caroopenI can't remember the name Anime
Their used to be a show i watch when i was a kid maybe between the years 2000-2011. It's was about a boy who found a pendant or talisman that enable him to summon ( a monster?). He then meet a group of people who he works with to find more of these pendant. They can also use them to fight and enhance their own skills.
openSeeking the best high? Live Action TV
A show about 2 men (I think brothers) who go all over the world to seek the best high (drugs etc.) They did do ayahuasca, theyve eaten blowfish, played japanese drinking games and got an prostate massage. Thats all I remember. I think the show was on MTV/Discovery/Nat. Geographic.
openMemorable Footprint In Kids Show? Live Action TV
The show was from the late 90's or early 2000's, I only remember it very vaguely since I was so young. The main setting was in some kind of forest (redwoods I think? can't remember clearly enough) with a large, modernish cabin in it. There might've been other cabins, like a campground. I know the main character/s were teenaged and they did SOMETHING relating to dinosaurs, but the most memorable part of this show was the antagonists??? There was a pair of weird antagonists who, in at least more than one episode, try to get a cast of the protagonists' living dinosaur's footprint. They try to cast it, leave it overnight, and the protagonists sabotage the cast in one way or another. I feel like I'm crazy but I swear I remember watching this show???????
openFemale author goes to a cabin retreat with a male android she doesn't want Live Action TV
This was an episode of a horror/sci-fi anthology I saw probably in the 90s. The gist of the story is its 20 Minutes into the Future, and a female author is going to a remote cabin to work on her book. Her friend urges her to take an android companion with her, and she doesn't want to. She finally agrees but keeps his personality and emotion turned all the way down so he won't be a distraction to her. Eventually, she starts experimenting with this settings, and ends up turning them up too high or something and turns the android into a Stalker with a Crush. He essentially starts acting like an abusive, obsessed, jealous boyfriend.
Series I've looked into already are the updated versions of the Outer Limits and the Twilight Zone, Tales from the Dark Side, and Night Visions, and it isn't any of those. This would have been a horror and/or sci-fi anthology series in the late 80s into the 90s.
openWeird name's, believe them to be Cadet and Zolski? Western Animation
It was a short cartoon that I believed aired on Nickelodeon. Short episodes, was two people who were space explorers. One being tall and slender, other being short and round. Tall one with a blonde head and lines for eyes, and the short one having a red head and full eyes but visible teeth. I can remember details about what they did in the show, other than it was in space and they had a spaceship. Would be greatly appreciated if someone could help me, used to watch it at my grandfather's before he passed.
openChildren's show 80's or 90's / Collecting towers which gave powers Live Action TV
No-one can seem to remember this show apart from me. It was about a group of early teenagers (maybe) working against an organisation. The premise involved going around the world to find / collect small figures of towers that looked similar to the tower of Pisa. On the round bottom of each figure there was a colour / symbol which represented a particular power. I always remember a scene in the show either in the opening credits or the ending where the bad guys would arrange the tower they had collected on some sort of board where there was a slot for it. I remember one of the episodes was set in the Rome Colosseum. Any ideas?
openFrom the 90s... pencil through hand and a doll!
Help! All I remember is a girl who was very attached to a doll and wouldn’t let anyone touch the doll. There were two boys and there was a scene where they were all on a small boat. I’m sure there’s a scene where she put a pencil through her hand in a classroom and fainted. It’s bothered me for heads please help 😩😩
openComedy about 3 friends Film
I remember a comedy where 3 friends were lost in a forest and met 2 girls who lived in a tree, and the short blond friend fell in love with the blond girl. Then I think they found a kind of treasure or something and there were guys that wanted to kill them or throw them into a sort of pit/cellar (I'm not so sure about this) and in the end the blond guy goes to live in the forest with his girlfriend and another of the friends became a scoutmaster. Thanks in advance!
openVHS rented from the library
There was a VHS that my mom used to rent from our library when I was little. It was made in the 90s. It was about these children talking about their fears. There was some sort of monster that all of the children were afraid of. At the end of the show, they found out the monster was nice. I don’t know if it was part of a show or not. I watched it so many times when I was little but I cannot find it. It seems like I’m the only person that remembers it but I have been trying to figure it out for years.
openFORGOT THE NAME OF THIS ANIME I WATCHED WHILE AGO Anime

openWell, it's actually homeschooling software... Videogame
Back around grade 5 / grade 7 - 2002/2004 (in Alberta, Canada), my mom used a piece of software to help us with our homeschooling. It had a variety of subjects, there was a quiz at the end of each lesson, and it was a really well-put together piece. You could customize your profile with a variety of themes, at least one type of quiz had this cool rocket theme where you were zipping about in a space station trying to answer the questions... I learned a lot from that piece of software, and the gamification of the whole thing always made me look forward to learning. I remember there was one video in a water module about not wasting water; it had a song and everything put to videos of people flushing, brushing their teeth, and washing their hands. I may have grown past the need for it, but it still brings me fond memories and I'd like to see if I can find videos of it online.
I thought it was called Operation Schoolhouse, but when I searched that term, all I found was a charity. I don't know if it was widespread or not, but I'd love to find it if possible.
openbeen thinking about it forever :( Videogame
It was an old school video computer game, on the pc i think. I played it as a kid (born in 99). it was kind of a map that you went through. there was a bit where you end up at a fair/carnival-like thing. i also remember a moose (or maybe a horse) who like was in a widow and ate food and made very loud eating noises. sorry this is super vague.
openmaybe obscure christian time travel cartoon? Western Animation
I can barely remember anything about this, but i think the premise was that these three people(a guy, a blonde woman, and some kid probably around twelve) time traveled to various bible stories. I cant remember anything about their names, i have a vague mental image of them wearing tan explorer vests but that could be from something else. I do definitely remember that there was an episode where they went to the bible story of Queen Esther, and the blonde woman got dragged into the "find a new queen" preparations. I watched it probably somewhere between 2001 and 2003? I think they might have been on vhs tapes though(and therefore possibly older), i'm not quite sure because i was around pretty young. I think there was also an episode where they got thrown into the lion pit or the furnace with daniel? it's just been bugging me completely for months even though it's just a little thing.
openMovie about a rockstar Film
As a kid I saw a documentary about a famous rock star. Now that I'm grown up and know who rock stars are, I'd love to know which one it was. Could have been anyone from a Rolling Stone to Lou Reed to Cobain, although I'm pretty sure he was American (definitely not a Beatle because I knew them too well). I think he had a fairly rough life, probably did drugs and the aesthetic I am picturing in the documentary is a run-down house with graffiti on the walls and a fire. The only scene I remember is him talking about a band he was in in High School who called themselves "the Vultures" and he showed an animation he did as a teenager of someone being captured by vultures and made to listen to their music.
openKids TV show from the early to mid 2000s, possibly channel 5 (UK) Live Action TV
I remember a few frames of a kids TV show from the early to mid 2000s, possibly on Channel 5 but I don't remember. It was all brightly lit and took place in and around an almost empty modernist house with glass walls and a freshly mown lawn, possibly with sprinklers on. It involved a girl or woman or both and a large monster that was clearly a man in a costume. It was very dreamlike and slow moving. I might have dreamt it, but I'm not certain. That's all I can remember. Please help.
I remember hearing this song sometimes off and on throughout my childhood. I'm really sure it was from like the '70s, and probably pop rock or something. All I remember is a high pitched, maybe scratchy sounding singer going "Aiy-yi-yi!' during parts of the song. Does anyone have any idea what song this was? Thanks.
