Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
First, you need to change that FFXV link you have, as it leads to a redirect page. Correct link is like this: Video Game.Final Fantasy XV.
Second, the big one is a major edit regarding tearjerkers for Episode Prompto. I do believe TJ is an offshoot of YMMV, and thus far, I don't think there's much of an issue with the Prompto edits. The link to TJ is as follows: here.
Maybe a PM to the user may help to see what's going on.
Edit: OK, there may be a few eyebrow-raisers, but let's let him know in the morning.

I have a question about the entries Meiwakuna Boku has been adding to the various Final Fantasy XV pages, especially those regarding Prompto Argentum. Basically, that there are a lot of them, to the point that it comes off as disproportionate gushing or character focus; the Tear Jerker page is full of such entries, to the point it comes off as microanalytic for things that many would regard as only mildly sad. The quality of the prose entries themselves are not egregiously poor in isolation, but given these patterns, Is this kind of behavior kosher or does it stray too far away from neutrality?
From my interactions with other people in the FFXV fandom I've incidentally become aware that Prompto is known for having a rather infamously passionate fangirl following, one which others have criticized for what they consider playing up how tragic and important to the narrative Prompto actually is, and pushing Fanon interpretations of him that beatify him into a Purity Sue, Sympathetic Sue, or Black Hole Sue at the expense of disregarding canon characterization and minimizing or even demonizing other characters.
More saliently, I've already edited or deleted a few of their entries in the past, occasionally because it strayed a bit into what came across as character bashing for Ship-to-Ship Combat reasons, but usually because of objective misuse of tropes for what seemed to be personal Fetish Fuel, e.g. describing Prompto in ways which play up his status as a Distressed Dude using terms which implied a certain kind of vulnerability despite the game canon suggesting and later explicitly confirming them to be inaccurate, musings about whether he was molested by the main villain, bringing up the popularity of rape fanfictions involving Prompto and the villain when not entirely salient to the trope description, and numerous and detailed entries about instances of supposed Ho Yay for the character in particular which read more more like heavy Ho Yay Shipping and Shipping Goggles than "legitimate" instances of ambiguity in the source material.
I understand that the point of many of these pages is that it is subjective, and what I consider to fail the test of impartiality, someone may consider valid and obvious as day, or just having a bit of harmless fun, and that I'm being too strict. And there's nothing wrong with people gushing about their favorites, but it's led to trope misuse, and as someone who's reasonably familiar with the source material it comes off as a tad excessive and fangirling.
