openDare Movie? Film
Movie trailer about an online 'Dare' game, where completing a dare gets you money. Boy and girl get roped into Daring together, and at one point, while trying on clothes, their OWN clothes are stolen, because they are now being dared to Leave Without Paying. They sneak out in their underwear, instead of stealing. At the end of the trailer, they are in an arena, and one of them must shoot the other to be let go.
Edited by FortunateKitsuneopenFilm about Children raised to become organ donors Film
I honestly didn't understand a good chunk of what was going on since I missed some of the dialogue (we were watching it at school, not only was it not Mean Girls so no one cared but, when people actually did start paying attention to it, there was a neverending flood of stupid comments and commentary) but the basic gist I could guess was children are cloned from real people, these clones are raised from birth to be in perfect condition throughout their lives and then, in adulthood, they become organ donors only they give away their organs while still alive and through several sessions of harvests. The main lead has a love interest who gets taken from her by her jealous, possibly bisexual friend who kisses her in one scene (my class flipped out at that part) before said friend admits that she knew that main protagonist and love interest were meant to be. The friend in a later scene goes through her final harvest where she dies. The main protagonist and the love interest then attempt to get some sort of 'get out of harvest free' deal because they heard from some characters at an earlier point in the movie that, if two of the donors fall in love completely then they can opt to get out of the harvest for a year so that they can live their lives together. It turns out that was false and love interest then dies in a harvest in a later scene. The movie ends with the main protagonist in front of a tree, talking about how she's going to start her harvests soon. This movie was also apparently an adaptation of a book of the same name but I can't remember the name

It was about this detective lady investigating this writer because all the murders from his novel were coming true. Turns out the writer had a female lover/fan who was actually doing the murders as they were written after publication. I think she got off on it, while he liked the publicity. I don't remember much else, besides one of the victims being a young couple of camping. They were swimming in a creek when the boy goes to pee, but gets pinned to a tree with a crossbow bolt. Then the killer chases the girl for a while before shooting her too. There's a bit at the end when the writer is trying to kill the detective, saying how there's no case if there's no body, which I think are Arc words in the writers novel, but the detective manages to overpower him and kill him.

Edited by AbnormalChropenOld-ish cartoon? Film
I grew up in southern Europe, and I remember watching watching this doubled cartoon of a blonde girl who lived in the apartment with her cat, who finds a dog when she was leaving a party late one night. The dog was in a box, and the girl had a pink motorcycle. The dog was just a body for what was actually the soul of a prince, who leads her to go into a trip to save him, because he was trapped in a some sort of room in a corridor full of doors in a temple somewhere. I think the prince's name was either Shera, Shira or something around that family. I've been trying to Google a bunch of Clues to see if anything comes up but nothing.
Edited by KejsiShuaipiopenA movie about a building with no rooms that end with a number Film
So, there's a movie that I've watched a lot of years ago, but I never got to see the end of it. I can only remember roughly about a building (maybe a hotel?) that, for some reason (probably luck) there weren't rooms that ended with a certain number in any of the building's floors (i think the number was 4, 13, or any of those unlucky numbers). If I recall correctly, there was some way to move through the building via the space where the rooms should be, and I think I remember a scene where someone is killed and they stick his body to the ceiling with a clipping gun, or something like that. Anyone remember a old-ish movie with something like this?
resolved Puppet used to frame midget for serial killings Film
This might sound a little weird but I remeber watching something on SBS. I don't remember if it was a movie or a tv show or if it was in English but it was live action
- The main character is looking into an old serial killer case
- At one point he finds a life sized puppet of a midget that was used to make it look like a midget was running away from the murders and frame the midget for the crime. The midget had a history of drunkness and violence.
- The main character connects the killings to lines in childrens book or poem. One of the victims was a farmer who got stabbed with a flute or similar instrument. He realises that this connects to line about a farmer working with his instrument and the killer didn't understand that instrument could refer to a tool. He then realises that the killer was a child because they wouldn't be able to understand that and it us why a midget was framed - to match up with the child height stabbing and wittness accounts.
- He then finds out it was a friend of his that was the murderer and the friend's father was behind the frame up
openDrama/Thriller from 2000s (probably) Film
K, so I've spent a lot of time thinkin' about this, so not sure how much memory I've fabricated at this point. It was a live-action thriller or drama & I would've seen it in the mid-late 2000s (I think). I get a sort of similar vibe to the 'Cry Wolf' & 'Cherry Crush' films for some reason.
Anyways, I only remember one scene (kind of). There were two young dudes, who I feel were best bros or something, & a girl who the main guy was probably dating/wanted to date, & she or the main guy stabbed/shot the other dude, & he was all in disbelief about it, all 'bro, but we're bros!' (not a direct quote XD), but nobody was buyin' that because this guy had maybe gone a bit loopy & done some messed up thangs so it might have been deserved at that point (maybe even self-defence), I don't remember what specifically he had done or whatever, I just feel like that's what happened. It was night time, & I'm pretty sure they were in the woods.
...Yeah, I know that isn't much to go on, & I'm probably making up some of it as well. Don't know why I need to know so bad, but I do, & it's annoying the hell out of me. >.<
openHorror movie about a piano musician and deal with the devil Film
I remember this movie to be from the 80s, maybe late 70s. A famous musical composer in the 18th century writes and opera or something like that for the devil, he is captured and trial by witchcraft, senteces to be torn appart with four horse. Years later his niece heir his mansion, the old maid (that was the uncle's lover) has contacts with her master from hell using fire, thus under his instructions she makes some spells in a way she enters the niece's body and a young piano player working for the niece is possess by the uncle's spirit. At the end the uncle's death body resurrect with the limbs separated.
openLowish budget Mulan animated film. Film
Most likely early 2000s and probably broadcast on the old Fox Kids channel in the UK. It was probably made to piggyback off of Disney's Mulan, but actually told a completely different story that was probably closer to the original folk tale. I remember a lengthy scene in which Mulan searches for armour to purchase in a marketplace. Also something about clouds in the sky. I had it on DVD as a kid.
opena movie or a tv episode about "tv dinner" Film
i think it was a movie, it's a comedy, someone gets the idea that they can add screens to each tv dinner tray, and they manufacture and market those "tv dinners"
Edited by bluealefopenIrish/British thriller about a serial killer Film
I think I watch this movie on HBO very late at night or early morning. Is about an famous Irish police detective working with the British police to find out a serial killer that tortures it victims for hours before killing them. The investigation unravels a case of child molestation of orphan children (one of the people killed was a man who adopted children to abuse them). It turns out the killer is a young female cop (and one of the abusers' victims) who kidnaps the Irish detective to kill her when she discovers the truth.
openEarly 00's horror movie Film
The name totally escapes me; it was this old horror movie so long ago I don't even remember the plot, but the intro had this scene where a guy (the main character) was going through this shack and as he approached this crying woman with her back turned she shoved a snake against his neck and it tore a chunk it of him but then it turned out he was dreaming it. Also, he had a job at a computer store with a dickish boss and this girl came in asking for help cleaning her laptop (it was red wax from when she was doing some occult stuff). I can't remember anything past that. Also, the opening music was kind of ethereal; y'know, the gamut for early 00's horror/thriller movies. I think the lyrics were something like 'vanishing near, disappearing, fading', something along those lines.

openLive Action Fantasy B Movie? Film
I am looking for the name of an old live action fantasy movie. It was about four knights and they each had different elemental powers I believe. I only remember that the rock guy used a mace and was initially the weakest but ended up the strongest at the end of the movie or something like that and one of the villains was this dragon-like human guy that wielded a trident. The movie was on VHS at my local video store so somewhere between 20-15 years old at the very least.
open90s kids VHS Film
I use to watch it on VHS as a kid (early 90s). I can't remember if it was a TV show or movie but from what I remember it had a series of tales that had an educational theme to them.It wasn't animation, all the characters were puppets on strings. I can remember a girl went into a cave and inside was a bunch of eggs and out of the eggs hatch little bears. They were suppose to be alive but you could see the strings holding them up. I seem to remember after they hatched out they were dancing to a song. I also remember a girl who had a blue donkey?? And she was carrying on because she wanted the moon, she climb up a ladder to it but fell off and hurt herself and then the donkey sang a song that went "gimmies dont get, dont you know that gimmies dont get".
I know it sounds like a crazy weird dream but my brother remebers watching it too so i know it's real lol
openSomething like a "British Supernatural Agency" Film
I'm not sure of the plot, but the thing of the movie is that the characters were real version of really known british stories. Like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, that he was like Hulk, he was a normal guy who transformed into a bulked monster.
My overall memories are vague, but there are a few particular things I think I'm remembering correctly. The movie itself was about a young man who buys/receives a new video game that slowly almost ruins his life. I think the game was requiring him to complete tasks in real life, or maybe there was just some evil entity convincing him to do shady stuff. He might've been stalking his crush at her party, for example. Point is that his personal relationships were deteriorating because of his behaviours, and it involved the game making him do those things. The only really specific detail I definitely remember was the falling out he had with his best friend. Friend might've been criticizing the main character for whatever crap he was getting up to, which led to an argument that ended with the friend leaving. Very specifically, when the friend left he was walking away from the house. The main character shouted one last thing after him, and all the friend did was flip him off with both hands without turning around. I suppose I remember exactly that because I found it weird that he did it over his shoulder, which I guess I found funny in some way. Not really sure why that part stuck out in my mind as much as it did, while I don't really remember anything else detail-wise.
As for chronology, I'm fairly sure the movie was from the mid-90s. I don't know that for certain, as I definitely would have watched it about ten years ago, and I only would've seen it the one time. If there is anything else I remember particularly about the movie, it was just how much it felt like it fit well with other 90s movies that covered basically the exact same ground. Makes sense seeing how huge video games were getting at the time that they would be so prevalent in popular culture, but it doesn't mean any of those movies were good, and I'm fairly certain the movie I'm thinking of wasn't anything special either. I definitely watched it at home on my TV. It was a time where I was particularly interested in horror films, and would basically watch anything that sounded interesting from Comcast's on demand library. Fairly certain a lot of stuff on there was no good anyway, but I was young and not very picky.
Can't say for sure if there are any more details I can provide, other than starting to list other movies/other media that definitely aren't what I'm thinking of. If this isn't enough though, I'll see what else I can do.
