I don't completely understand what the SCP Foundation is.

A shadowy trans-national organization that exists to protect the Muggles from supernatural, extraterrestrial, or extradimensional threats, or anything that would threaten normalcy. By any means necessary. The website itself proports to be the internal documents of the Foundation, mostly related to the containment procedures for various objects and entities.

Is it terribly hard to get into?

It can be. And they expect you to lurk for a fair amount of time before entering the site — both to make sure you're actually interested in editing, and to make sure you actually want to be part of it, I'd say.

SCP-073 is a cool guy, eh's seen most of history and doesn't afraid of anything.

Yes. They apparently have far too many statues that kill people when they move, and for a while they had too many self-insert SCPs.

Then there's some of the weirder (possible) self-inserts in the Decommissioned section.

I always found the mirror the scariest.

I read that one! It was so cool. I liked the description of the giants' movement.

Oh, that mirror was also cool. I was thinking of the thing that you put on mirrors, and then when you walked through the mirror you went to, well, a different place.

Other than that it was quite creepy and horrifying. You know they're doing well when you're filled with fear on the first test.

So far the 093 subjects appear to have a brain.
