Dark Souls and Dark Souls II Design Works books get!
Somehow you know that the time is right.Thrift store scores: The Brain That Wouldn't Die and Faith No More - You Fat Bastards: Live At Brixton Academy on VHS. Dave Brubeck Quartet's Time Out and a various artists compilation called Monsters Of Rap Vol. 2 on CD. The latter's tracklist tends to lean towards the late 80's and the early 90's, so a lot of it is stuff I remember crossing over to pop radio when I was in middle school or so.
Just bought on Amazon steelbook Blu-Rays of Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno and Rurouni Kenshin 3: The Legend Ends, plus Leon: The Director's Cut. Waiting to GET! obviously.
My uncle in Japan mailed me a plush of Tamamitsune from Monster Hunter as a very belated birthday gift yesterday! It's sitting next to my laptop at the moment and is even cuter in person.
Switching accounts because I don't like this username anymore, sorryThrift shopping: The Dark Crystal, Divine Invasions (a biography of Philip K. Dick) and a green short-sleeved dress shirt I'm wearing right now.
Shipped from Amazon: Sony Cassette Walkman. So this started as me being paranoid about my job transferring me to a location in a lower class area (temporarily, due to renovations). I've gotten so can't stand to take public transportation without music/audiobooks/etc, but I started to get worried about my ipod getting lost/stolen - this cost me around 12 bucks, so I could afford to lose it and it's probably not that attractive a target for theft. I started thinking it might not be that big a deal to just have my mp3 player in a secure pocket at all times, but I bought it anyway because it might be fun to have around and see whatever random cheap cassettes I can find in thrift shops etc.

X Wing Miniatures: Imperial Veterans GET!
Finally, my glorious TIE Defenders got some love!
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects. That X-Wing Miniatures/Tie Defenders thing looks quite interesting. I take it that it's as expensive as the stuff from Games Workshop?
Built? And painted? For that amount of money? Crumbs. That's looking like really good value for money.
Want.

Not even close, the X-Wing core set is $40 US, a small ship (X-Wing, TIE Fighter, etc) goes for about $15, a large base (Millennium Falcon, Slave 1, etc) goes for $30-40. Packs of two fighters (which re-release existing ships with new pilots and upgrades) are also $30 or so. You could easily have a playable squadron for under 100 bucks (probably less), though certain lists like TIE swarms cost more obviously. And buying an entire faction's worth ships (or the entire line) is going to cost a bit. But its still nowhere near a moderately sized 40k army.
The only things that get really pricey are the epic scale ships (Rebel Transport scale stuff), and those aren't usable in standard play formats anyway. Though they do have nice upgrades, you can buy those second hand online.
Plus, these minis come built and painted.

The set's in German layout, but luckily I have a scrap keyboard that I could transfer across all the relevant keys onto the new one. A brand-new English layout set could have cost me upwards of seventy pounds from Microsoft, though they are a lot cheaper than that elsewhere.
I got Fleet Foxes' Helplessness Blues at Barnes & Noble. Great purchase.

Would make sense that Tzeentch would be active in Ottawa of all places, plenty of change around here (mostly road construction). I find that the Tomes of Fate and Decay are pretty common but Blood and Excess have been out of print for over a year, driving their prices.
