In an attempt to try to change the normal routine of his life, Tre joins the new and blossoming school Glee club. After awhile, however, he starts to notice the members breaking out into spontaneous song numbers with bachground music seeming to come from nowhere. Now the fourth wall is broken, and Tre has the choice of either trying to fix it or rocking out to it.

My pitch: A Cloud Cuckoolander meets The Ditz and they fall in love. Hilarity Ensues.

P.S. I necro'd this thread. I. Am. Awesome!

YES! This thread is back! Tidal Wave, you. Are. Awesome!

Summary: For Drew, love means being told you're pretty and wearing colour-coordinated outfits. She loves her dog, she loves her parents, and she mega loves her superhot sex-god boyfriend Josh. One person she doesn't love is Art, who sticks crayons up his nose and recites Pokemon facts in rhyme. When Drew and Art are partnered for a science fair project, it threatens everything— Drew's carefully maintained D average, her relationship with Josh, and her popularity. But as they work together, Drew discovers there's more to Art than she realized: he's really smart, he's really nice, and when he takes the crayons out, his nose is kinda cute...

Ok, it's my first time on this thread, so here goes.

Summary: 1000 years ago, there existed a book known as the Grimoire Negita. It was a book of magic so evil and powerful, it put the infamous Necronomicon itself to shame, and it could even tell the future when opened at a certain page. It belonged to a mighty demon king by the name of Talacore, and he used its powers of precognition to quash any threat to his reign. Then one day, it prophesied that a descendant of a certain magic-wielding tribe would bring about his end. In fury, Talacore and his demonic army attacked the tribe and started to slaughter all they found. However, one member of the army had come to sympathise with humans, and although he could not destroy Talacore, he was able to seal his king and the army deep within the only thing that would hold them - the Grimoire itself, which disappeared shortly afterwards. Unfortunately, he himself was sealed away in the Earth's core by Talacore's final spell. Now, 1000 years later, the Grimoire has reappeared, this time in the possession of a ruthless businessman, and the seal is breaking, allowing Talacore's evil spirit to influence the businessman into assissting him in his quest to regain his former throne, granting him demonic powers to help him carry out the evil deeds. Luckily, the seal on the benevolent demon is also breaking, allowing his own noble spirit to seek out the child of the prophecy - a young boy by the name of Tristan Harrison. Unfortunately, there is a problem - how do you tell the chosen one that they will be the one to destroy the demon king when they are too scared to even embrace their power? Tristan must now face his fears, learn to control his abilities and realise his full potentional - before it's too late...

In the future, I think we should avoid cross-over prompts, because there's no guarantee the next person will know anything abut the shows and they shouldn't have to do extra research to write the pitch. Also, it tends to kill the thread for a while.

^ Liz Staine has a little enterprise. She calls it a "home therapy clinic," but what she offers is more than simple counseling. Liz is a succubus—a supernatural being of erotic delight—and for a price, she provides men with a sensual journey through guilt, temptation, and desire. Things go wrong when a seemingly charming client steals her "soul", the source of her power and key to her existence. Forced into a humiliating life where she must do everything she is commanded, Liz finds herself driven to despair and bitterness. Who is her captor? How does he know so much about her? Will she ever escape? And if she gets the chance... will she want to?

Title: Temptations

Adurin is a guardian angel, one of God's elite. Or at least he was, until the day he murdered a man who had murdered one of his charges - an unforgiveable sin in the eyes of the Almighty. As punishment for his crime, Adurin was stripped of his wings and powers and banished to Earth. Now he wants to return. Before he can do that, however, he'll have to win back God's trust, and the only way to do that is to perform 3 miracles. 1st - he has to reconcile a lawyer with his homophobic parents, who rejected him when they learned of his relationship with another man. 2nd - he has to convince a woman, who stubbornly believes that her abusive husband loves her, to leave before she gets killed. 3rd - he has to find a young runaway who has been missing for 5 months. Hard enough tasks for a human, even more so for a powerless angel. Adurin has his work cut out for him.

Title: One for the Angels - Plus Two

It's all I could think of, so I hope it'll do.

My pitch: After intefering with an experimental machine created by his scientist parents, a bullied boy gets the ability to shapeshift just by either saying or imagining the person, animal, plant or thing he wishes to become. Hilarity Ensues - apart from the mysterious government agency that seems to be very interested in his new abilities.

(By the way, are we limited to one pitch per post?)

Josh always gets the raw deal in life. If his teachers aren't lecturing him for not trying hard enough, his classmates are tormenting him for trying to hard. His parents advice is basically let things happen the way they're suppossed to. Although he hates this notion, it seems like Josh has no other choice-Until the night his parents gene altering ray explodes, blasting him. He is now able to change into anything and anyone he wants. When he discovers these new abilities, his first thought isn't of heroics. Whether its making it look like The Libby is picking her nose, the Jerk Jock pants himself in public, or jumping on a desk as the school librarian, announcing her love of gay internet porn, Josh is going to get his revenge, one person at a time. Unfortunately, all this attention he's causing seems to have caught the eye of his parents company, who want to use these new abilites for immoral reasons.

My Tag: A normal teenage boy wakes up to find his Opposite-Sex Clone sleeping in the same bed as him (No, they didn't sleep together). Title: Double

"When I saw her next to me, it finally hit me who she was. Me."

Matthew's just an average, ordinary teenage boy, until one morning, when he wakes up and comes face-to-face with a girl who he finds is himself in girl form. Where did she come from? Who knows. Who's the clone? Nobody knows. But it seems like Matthew's stuck with her, whether if he likes it or not.

Wow, that was hard.

Well, here's my pitch, copied almost directly from where I posted it in the plotbunny thread.

Older man who has been driven loony by magic gets back into his right mind and realizes just how shitty the fantasy world he lives in and its government is. So he decides to clean out the government himself, an uphill battle pitting him against corruption and the citizens outside the government's walls. He's successful, but time and his age are not on his side.

[ [down] Whoops. Sorry.

And I'd say one pitch. per post. You can always post more after someone else posts.]

Reviving the thread! Since no one posted a prompt last time, here's a new one!

Pitch: A boy who talks to animals runs away from the circus with an elephant, a tiger, and a monkey.

Thanks for the all fish!

Actually, there was a prompt. It was just never taken up.

Anyway, here goes:

Jimmy has lived with the circus ever since his parents died in a car crash when he was 3 and he was taken in by the ringmaster, who was a friend of theirs. Now, 5 years later on, he should be the happiest boy in the world - after all, who wouldn't want to live in a circus? - but he's not. Then again, perhaps that isn't so surprising, considering he is basically used as slave labour by everyone else, being forced to do all the odd jobs or be physically punished. The only thing keeping him sane is his ability to talk to animals, and his 3 best friends - Eliza the elephant, Vladimir the Siberian tiger and Rusty the monkey, all of whom are treated as badly as he is. Yes, he's not happy, but as he has no other relatives, there doesn't seem to be anything he can do about it. Then one day, while cleaning the ringmaster's office, he finds a note from a long-lost aunt, saying that she'd be willing to take care of him. Knowing that the ringmaster would never let him go - after all, why else would he hide the note? - Jimmy makes a daring decision. That night, he packs his bag and sneaks out of the circus, stopping only to steal the keys and free Eliza, Vladimir and Rusty - after all, he can't leave his best friends behind. Now Jimmy and his friends are off to Jimmy's aunt's. There's just 2 little problems - 1. Jimmy has no idea where she lives, and 2. their escape has been discovered, and now the ringmaster is after them.

Title: The Circus Runaway

A lonely girl finds a magic box of paints that allow whatever she paints to come to life, ala Harold And The Purple Crayon.

Doria longs for friendship, but is socially awkward that she just keeps to herself. Her main hobby is painting and sketching. One day, she buys a box of old paints at a local garage sale. As soon as she starts to use them, she becomes instantly inspired, drawing everything that she fantasizes about. The next day, however, all her pictures are completely blank. Once she steps outside, she realizes that all of her paintings and sketches have come to life.

Doria now has a choice. She could find a way to get rid of all her creations and go back to her life of lonliness, or completely immerse herself in the little world she's created.

Layla has a pretty good life. After all, she is the wealthiest girl in the school, head of the cheerleading squad, and dating Steve, the quarterback for the high school football team. Yep, it's a pretty good life...on the surface. Underneath her perfect exterior, Layla has no end of things she is concealing, things that she would rather remain secret, such as the fact that she lives with her aunt because her father is in prison for embezzlement and her mother's in drug rehab, or the fact that she feels her relationship with Steve has gotten stale and she has her eye on Gavin, the new boy. However, she's confident that her secrets will never be revealed...until the day the local drugs research company spills an experimental truth serum into the local water supply. Now Layla can't help blurting out her secrets, and it's landing her in a heap of trouble. And it's not just her - the entire student body - and even the whole town - is revealing things that they really shouldn't!

Harold was quite an ordinary boy, until his father took him to the Christmas market and bought him a beautiful wooden plane model. As the two arrive home and the child rushes to his room to play with it, the toy starts to talk to him. It takes him to a land of wonders, where he makes the friends he always lacked at school. But then the local bully steals it from him. His father offers him to buy a new one, but he won't accept anything but the old one, and so he has to confront his bully.

Their names were Terry, Todd, Thom, and Thalia Trub— and that wasn't even the worst thing their parents had done to them. Taking advantage of the relaxed penalties given to young offenders, Mr. and Mrs. Trub make money framing their kids for various crimes, certain they'll get off light due to their age. That changes when the state passes a law that can sentence people under 10 to prison stays as long as adult ones— and nine-year-old Thalia's just been framed for theft over $5000.

Their parents flee, leaving the kids at the mercy of the police. But you don't live with crooks for years without learning some tricks, and the four Trub children are soon on the adventure of their lives— dodging cops, outwitting detectives, and hunting their parents to set right what's long been wrong.

Henry has a pretty average life for a student, and that's the way he likes it. Unfortunately for him, things are going to get complicated. He is on his way to school one morning when he finds a huge egg on his door step. Rather than just leave it there, he takes it to school and puts it in his locker, promptly forgetting about it. Then the fire alarms go off, with a teacher confronting Henry, telling him that something exploded in his locker. Before he can get into too much trouble, a baby dragon the size of a St.Bernard puppy comes at him, treating him like a mother. Now Henry has the entire school, his parents, even the local government pestering him about a baby dragon that sprays flames whenever someone tries to take him away. How will Henry deal with all this unwanted attention?

[up]No title?

Anyway, here's my answer:

Sally loves her brother Kyle (not, not like that). All her life, she's HeroWorshipped him, and he's always been there for her and helped her out when she needs it. Then one day, he disappears. There's no reason for him to have run away, and he had no enemies, so he seems to have just disappeared. Sally is distraught, even more so when the police investigation fails. Then one day, she learns of a mysterious witch named Morganzia, who is said to live in the Crystallia Mountains, which can only be reached via the Maridrean Forest. Morganzia is willing to help anyone who finds her, but there is a price. In exchange for her help, the one who seeks her must present her with an Ardvarian Stone, a magical object which she uses in many of her potions - and the stones can only be found in the heart of the Imerku Desert, which can only be reached by crossing the Gallista Ocean. Most people would give up before they'd even begun, but Sally, realising that this time Kyle needs her, is determined to succeed.

Title: Sally's Quest

My pitch: After her parents are murdered, a young girl moves in with her friends’ family (all members of which possess magical powers). Discovering that she also possesses magical abilities, she must awaken and master her latent power to save the world, her adopted family and the man she loves (who may or may not have something to do with the enemy) from impending destruction.

After her boyfriend dies saving her, a girl learns she is pregnant. She resolves to raise his child out of respect for him.

Title: Surviving, Just Me and You

Sarah's life is going down in flames. Her long time high school boyfriend Roger died while making sure she escaped after their car drove off road, into a tree.

Now, she has an even bigger problem: She's only twenty years old and pregnant.

With no real family of her own, and Roger's family blaming her for his death, she's going to have to find a way to survive in this world, for her unborn baby and for herself.

My Pitch: Several teens go on a cross country trip, end up staying the night in an Eldritch Abomination town haunted by two teenagers who disappeared in The '60s. More Psychological Horror than Slasher Flick.

Erin McAlister was a fourteen-year-old that was satisfied with her normal life in Greyson City (as much of an oxymoron as that is, it's possible). But on her fifteenth birthday, all of that changed when she found a strange ticking box outside her apartment door... and it was set to go boom.

Somehow, though, it didn't kill anyone. And the day after, Erin started seeing things. Visions, if you will.

And while things started off okay with her and her new power, she starts to see that something sinister is brewing in the halls of her high school, perhaps maybe even inhuman, and only she could stop it.

Well, maybe with the help of a few friends, of course.

Pitch: A caustic, sardonic hipster teenager falls in love with a preppy, perky new girl... but he doesn't want to admit it.

Darren Bergerson is one of those teens who tells people how it is in the most brutally honest way possible, under the diguise of not caring what anyone thinks, even though he changes his style weekly depending on what's not popular in the hopes of looking like a free spirit.

This attitude has left him marked as a loner who is left alone by the entire student population... Except new girl Jeanie Monsen.

She's bright, she's perky, she dresses in Prada, and even worse, she actually likes hanging out with him, despite every snide comment and thinly veiled insult he throws at her.

...And even worse, he's begining to like hanging out with her.

Title: "I am Most Definitely, Totally NOT Falling for Jeanie!" (Yes, I know its lame, I'm not good with titles)
