You know, with the act Fujitora had done in earliest chapter, I'm begin to thinking.... Since it was quite clear that Akainu respects Kuzan enough to not actually kill him during their dispute as who will succeed Sengoku, going so far as aks him to be his Right Hand Man, and Fujitora is drafted as the result of his restructurization, could it be he specifically ask Fujitora to be moderating element of Marines, since he actually awares that his temper is one of his weakness? Or it could be that he simply really, really, really, hates lawbreaker, whether it is pirates or World Nobles themselves, and Fujitora simply had the similar zeal and passion with him, although with much more restraint and understanding, also more focus on the victims?

If nothing else, Sakazuki clearly approves of Issho being there.

I predict we'll find out or get a hint of Fujitora's and Akainu's relationship within the next couple chapters. Surely this is gonna get a reaction out of HQ.

Sakazuki: "Just as planned... Oh, this is going to be such a MINDFUCK!"

Guys, I have an important, emotional request to make: Can we please not joke about Kuina's death?

I don't care if you all don't respond directly to this post, or message me to ask why. In fact, I'd prefer if you didn't. And I'm aware that it's not something we joke about often. I'd just like to ask that we not do it.

So anyway, Fujitora and Sakazuki.

One was awesome, the other lava punched someone through the chest.

Together, they fight crime.

So I hope Sabo grows some negative character traits soon because he's edging dangerously close to "annoyingly-perfect" in my view. It doesn't help that with the level of power he's displayed it'll probably take quite a while for Luffy to surpass him, as well.

Yeah, I want that whole "Hates everyone from the WG equally" thing to be explored more. He should hate guys like Issho and Magellan just as much as the World Nobles, and this should be presented as a character flaw. Just IMO.

I do like that. It could be due to formerly being nobility himself, so he's somewhat overcompensating.

I agree it needs to happen soon.

In Sabo's defense, Ace didn't really have many flaws either when he was introduced. That said, it really doesn't dispell the fact that Sabo has essentially become Ace's Suspiciously Similar Substitute, right down to having his fruit.

Ace was pretty blatantly created to die. He's your standard "saintly fallen friend," nothing wrong with that. Sabo is, thus far, a saintly living friend.

As for flaws Ace had his whole, can't back down even really he should thing and his baggage with Roger as his father, which really didn't make much sense to me (not the baggage itself but how Oda presented it).

Of course, both of those things are pretty standard for characters like him, especially the first part.

I'd describe Sabo's role as "the guy better than the Straw Hats." I'm not really objecting to a character like that in and of itself; it was pretty much Ace's role pre-skip, and Law during PH and Wyper during Skypiea had shades of this too. Thing is, Wyper and Law were surpassed in relatively short order, and Ace we barely saw before he got his torso punctured. Sabo's right here, in the middle of the action, defeating Emperor Commanders with a Fruit he's had for a few hours. I think it gonna take at least another three arcs for Luffy to pull ahead of him, which could be at least another half-decade real-time. Bleh.

Eh, I'm not too bothered by him beating Burgess, though I wish he had a few bruises at least. Frankly Blackbeard's original crew aren't really the ones we should care about, the level sixers and the one he added during the time-skip are. But even with the ones he had before then, they'll get stronger by stealing devil fruit powers. Down the line I could see a Burgess who got this great fruit power beating the shit out of Sabo and taking the Mera Mera Fruit too. Maybe give it to Blackbeard. Either way, the point is Sabo is going to die.

Because he's basically Ace's clone. Plus, down the line Oda is probably going to want to give another gut punch to Luffy. Better him than Garp and Luffy doesn't even know Dragon.

He's pretty new.And popular.Like Ace.

IMO the second "punch" will be Shanks, at Teach's hands.

Jinbe is blatant 11th-Hour Ranger. I think he'll be the last to officially join because Zoro and Sanji are probably still weaker than him and Oda said he didn't want to break up the Power Trio IIRC.
